Henderson Chicken

This place is absolutely amazing! If you love fried food, this is the place to go. Not only is it fried it is seasoned perfectly, and if you want more seasoning, all you have to do is ask. From chicken legs, chicken thighs, chicken wings, drums, and breasts, they will drop it fresh and you will leave with the bag of hot seasoned fried blessing! You can't about forget the fries, the fries are so good and seasoned.... you already know perfectly! Don't forget to get the pickles and peppers and you can eat it straight out the bag! You will be licking your fingers and making some noises while you eat this chicken! Price point is a bang for the buck! It doesn't get any real than this. So come and get some chicken, sides and cannot leave out the bread that's at the bottom of the basket with those crumbs, you are going to gobble it up! When you come here there may be a line or there may not either way is worth the wait! So come get you some good fried chicken.

I got a 2 wing basket that came with fries, bread, a jalapeño and some pickles. Fried chicken was good, wish I would've gotten the 3 piece because it was tastier than I thought. Plenty of fries that were seasoned a bit more than the chicken. The fries were on the softer side, so the seasoning helped. I don't believe there's a dine in area. We did the drive thru and the wait wasn't too bad. Only two cars in front of us and maybe at most 15 min wait for three of our orders.

Well, I ordered again last night and this time I was really underwhelmed. Everything was extremely under seasoned to the point of being bland (like cafeteria food bland). This was especially disappointing since I asked for extra seasoning on everything which I understood from previous reviews is something they do. In fact none of my order preferences were followed. Everything (including the bag) was soaking wet to the point that some water was pooled in the bottom of the plastic bag. This made the fries go completely limp and the chicken skin was moist and gross rather than crispy like last time. Finally, I was very happy that they added Mac & Cheese to the DoorDash menu so I ordered a large to have enough for multiple meals. The "large" container was the size of a small anywhere else and thus overpriced. It's not "normal" Mac & cheese either. There is cheddar but it's completely overshadowed by some other kind of cheese that's very "earthy". Possibly Gouda? While that's not necessarily a bad thing, they should really specify it in the description bc no kid I know would eat it. Just barely a mediocre meal. I even ordered in late afternoon so they couldn't have been that busy to make so make that many mistakes. Not sure if I'll order again or not.

Let me start with lets invest some money back into the business/ building. The door hinge was broken so once you opened the door it stayed opened. There was a slight sour order in the store that left you wonder if you should continue. Of course the service was great. I noticed that they were one of the best places to eat in 2013. The wall of menus is it. Don't expect anything decorative just menus. This is a take out place only do not expect to dine-in. My order was taken, paid for but no receipt given. I believe you should always ask whether or not you need a receipt and let me make the decision. I ordered 4 Wings and it came with fries a slice of white bread along with pickles, carrots and a jalapeño pepper. I ended up throwing the pepper away, it was too soft and not appetizing. The chicken itself was good, but could have been a little hotter (heat hot). I was called to pick up my order and happily went on my way.

Do not come here 63 dollars for a 25 wing is robbery. go to what's cluckn in Plano better food better service takes less time for your food to be ready and not inconsistent. THEY ARE TAXING OR LYING TO YOU ABOUT PRICES FOOD IS SUPER SALTY ANYWAYAlso they refuse to give u an itemized receipt so u know they doing fraud!! I'm reporting to the better business Bureau and health department.

I really wish they were open later. This is good greasy food for after the club!!! But yes we want it for lunch also lol

I'm always excited to try a new restaurant and I'm always on the lookout for the best fried chicken, so I was excited to try Henderson's!The Chicken was very good! In fact, we may have found the best chicken in Dallas!There was a long wait today, but I believe that was due to a customer who came in and bought a lot of chicken, bags and bags! So, it may be best to order ahead and pick it up.The ladies at the counter were also very nice!Due to Covid there are also no public restrooms or indoor dining at this time.

How can you be out of tenders, mac & cheese, corn fritters, fried okra, etc.. There was no one in your ratchet store & you still be taking FOREVER.. Ain't nobody got time for that. & your Sierra Mist is flat af. No Ranch serving jokesters. They need to rename the store to "Chicken & Fries Only"

They have the best chicken but when you call them, they say it's ready within five minutes and it takes 45 minutes. They have the worst service ever but they do have great chicken.I will not be going back to Henderson Chicken due to their service anymore
