Habana Blue Bar & Restaurant

Really enjoyed this place. Great price and everything was tasty. Good amount of parking. We got the habana sandwich and the ropa vieja. Everything was so divine, I can't pick a favorite.The ropa vieja was juicy and had a great flavor. I got it with white rice and black beans which were fine. I did also get maduros (yellow fried plantains) which I can never get enough of. The habana sandwich was much better than expected! It was a great option and we got a few since it had a lower price. I love included fries, so everything was a win. Tons of Cuban decor and good music videos playing on TVs. The employees were all very welcoming and nice. I will have to add pics

Greeted pleasantly. Menu is hard to understand if not familiar with Cuban cuisine. Guess ordered because waiter didn't seem at all interested in answering any questions. Never once checked on after ordering. Husband really liked his Cuban sandwich. Beware of shrimp cocktail, it's medium shrimp in a Russian dressing and doesn't have a description to tell you so. I don't eat Mayo so it was a waste of $12.

My Cuban brother from another mother brought me here to try his traditional food. Started with the Croquetas de la casa for appetizer and my lunch meal was Picadillo de Carne de Res Sheered Beef, both delicious and he got (2) desserts he wanted me to try Flan Cuban Style and Casquito de Guayaba. I recommend not getting any of these if you have to return to work. The place very clean and people started to come in to dine and others were picking up food to go. I will be coming back and will try something new.

Im from Guines La Habana Cuba I live in Chicago i don't visit any Cuban Restaurant in Chicago coz the only Cuban is the decoration made in China of course.. I pass by Texas and my Daughter told me to go to this Restorant actually I did coz of her .. Well good move coz I did ask who's in the kitchen the told me Cubans I saw the Cubans cooking also de decoration was Really nice but also The food congris y bistec y cervecita cubana fue realmente Buenísimo hacia ańos no probaba algo real y muy muy Bueno cada vez k quiero comida cubana voy a Miami y este Restorant realmente es muy bueno y la gente muy especial La espańola k trabaja es muy amable Gracias y espero poder pasar una vez más Chicago Learn from them coz I still don't know what you guys cooking in Chicago One day you guys will kill someone soo Learn from this guys #AbajoElcomunismo #DiazCanelSingao #PatriaYVida

Got the Cuban sandwich and there was no type of sauce, cheese, pickles, or mustard. Just pork, ham and bread. Not sure if they forgot to put it on the sandwich or that's just how they make it. Either way it wasn't very good. I'm convinced that the only good food in Texas is bbq. Below is a picture of the sandwich.........

It's about time Dallas shows off the quality of Cuban food. I am Cuban and it's not just about the great tasting food but also the Cuban experience and this restaurant has both. I highly recommend it as I was delighted by the taste buds, vibrant atmosphere and great service. A must go if you are in Dallas or from anywhere anticipating a great Cuban dish

The food was simple and delicious. My friend and I were visiting from out of town and have our go to Cuban restaurants back home. We found this place and were not disappointed. My friend lived in Cuba for a couple of years and raved about how authentic it was. The place was clean, upbeat, and the service was friendly and very hospitable. Highly recommended!

Picadillo de Carne de Res.. thats all I gotta say thats all that needs to be said.. I will be returning.
