Griff's Hamburgers

Been coming to this location since 1988 when this same meal was $1.99 for the burger, fries and a drink. The portions or smaller and the price is 4X what they used to be.The strawberry Shortcake is tiny.Food is good but it's not the value it used to be, even with the high prices of today's food it used to be a bargain compared to others, not anymore. Could be why the place is empty at dinner time.

The burger was great but the fries and onion rings were not so good. And the service was pretty good

I feel griff's has fallen from grace. I took a chance when I surprisingly came across this location when traveling through Haltom City. I have only tried the E. Lancaster location. The food on my last visit was decent, but not what I remember in the early 2000. This location in my opinion is worst! The burger patty was super thin and breaking apart. The entire meal was handed to me in seconds and it was lukewarm. Usually griff's takes a couple of minutes to prepare your food when it's fresh. There was no seasoning on the burger patty and no salt on the fries. I don't think any location will ever live up to what it was in the past. The area surrounding the establishment was clean, customer service was excellent, but it doesn't make up for the food not being good.

Nice restaurant, food is good service was ok. My hamburger was a little cold and they got my drink order wrong but it was good enough.

This could be so good. It has all the "ingredients" of a lovely experience. The employees so terribly want to leave. You can tell they're very unhappy here, which is always a management issue. If they aren't incentivized to go above and beyond, the average person won't.The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing and well put together. It's vintage in a cool way. The food itself is good! The bun MAY have been a little stale, but it was hard to tell. If they came up with a special sauce maybe (for instance) and change up management tactics, this place could smash and be extremely profitable.Haltom Theater constantly has tons of people at it that can walk here. The advertisement opportunities are obvious. Someone just needs to try.

The lunch time is terrible! They are cooking meat early then build the burgers. The burger was dry!!! Please stop that. The meat is cold and the bun warm.

I was wanting to enjoy a great burger, fries and onion rings while we watched the second game of the Final Four, BUT, once again Griff's SCREW UP OUR ORDER! They use to be great at this location --but now they are as bad as the Lancaster Ave location!!! I drive about 10 miles round trip and I get home and my wife's fries AREN'T IN YHE BAG!!! When they called my number to get my order I noticed that my onion rings are in one of those cardboard boat-like bowls, BUT...ITS UPSIDE DOWN IN THE TOP OF THE BAG!!!! I see a few fries in there, so I asked the little young girl CAN SOMEONE PUT MY ONION RINGS IN THE BAG RIGHT SIDE UP?!!! Damn! But I didn't think I had to ASK IF THE FRIES WERE IN THE DAMN BAG!!! Why do I have to pay $17.11 and WORK TOO, TO MAKE SURE MY ORDER IS ALL THERE?!!! I had to ask for the ranch dressing TOO!!! If people show up to work then WORK!I REFUSE TO DRIVE BACK TO GET THEM! , and the phone doesn't get answered! Try it!!! 817-838-6981.

Service has seriously gone down.... mistakes galore and they never have stuff! The manager is terrible

I hadn't been to a Griff's in six years, so after attending a county Republican party meeting, I made my first visit to this location.Had the giant double hamburger combo with mustard, a slice of cheese, no tomato and extra onion. Burger was nice and juicy and fries were perfect. Fast service and quick food delivery. I need to eat at Griff's more often.

Been coming here since childhood. Always great food. The service can be hit or miss, but we always come back for the burgers and fries
