Good Luck Chicken Seafood & Hamburger

OMG !! This place caught me by surprise. I first was disappointed that the location doesn't fry whole catfish.To my surprise this place is a diamond in the rough. I requested to fry my carfish hard.It was in awh. Now, if you can over look the place or location. I did feel safe I seen 4 to 3 Dallas Police patrolling in the area. Go enjoy some catfish in East of Dallas

The food was great and affordable, customer service was lovely and the catfish bites were the best I've had 10/10

Local hood spot that has not done me wrong yet. My people don't like it but I love it, especially it is quick and cheap. But the building is sketchy and I just don't look in the back for fear of seeing something I can't unsee! Try it for yourself, it ain't for everybody... but it is for me LOL

I left with a fried catfish basket- came with fries, small salad, hot pepper and tartar sauce plus ketchup salt pepper. Very generous portions. You can pick you drink and he had tons to choose from. Mostly cans and bottles. He also has shakes!! Will he back. Love that he has Monster! No real spots to eat at unless you want to stand or sit outside on curb. He uses different delivery ordering devices.

i enjoyed this got full to quick...this enough food for 2 ppl. 5 stars all the way and i can't wait to try other things on the menu

The food here is absolutely delicious and the taste have not changed even since the 80s. From fish baskets, gizzard, and burger baskets there are a variety of options available to pick from. The recipes and everything are consistent and have yet to change. The proportions have also remained the exact same, no economy shrinking here. The prices are decent in comparison to the portions of food that they give you. They also sell ice cream, candy, and a variety of other pastries, so there are plenty of solutions to your hunger needs. On the negative side, Good-Luck has always been a very small location, even the other two locations it once held were small, but it was more so to prevent foot traffic and crowding to make customers spend their time in the parking lot. If you're a hardcore health nut, this may not be the place for you because almost all of the foods are fried and therefore you'd be taking on a lot of grease. Overall the food is amazing and historic...RECOMMENDED

If you've had good lucks at a different location this one is not comparable. Food was horrible. Had the pork chop sandwich and it was full of grease i couldn't eat it. Taste like pork chop was recooked. Not the typical bone in pork chop either. Also had the link sandwich. Sandwich was dry. I would suggest going to a different location. Completely disappointed. Wasted my money

My go to one stop shop for whatever I have a taste for that day. Never disappoints. I personally always call ahead to save time because they do get busy

Yuck! Yuck! Service was not great. I ordered ahead on GrubHub and still had to wait at least 10 minutes for catfish and fries. Also, it wasn't catfish, might have been tilapia. I originally went inside to grab my order and after about 5 minutes was asked to wait in my car. The counter person then locked the front door behind me and went out the back door to smoke a cigarette! Needless to say, I will not return!

Tastier and Better than fast food that's for sure! Location is not the safest, but a great place in South Dallas .
