The food is very delicious, this is a hidden gem. Call first and have your name placed on the lists to limit your wait time. The staff is very nice and your food comes fast without much wait at all. There is allot to choose from and they have the best ice coffee and hot chocolate I have ever tasted. Family friendly! Nice place to bring the kids!!! Thanks Good Day Cafe

Super friendly staff. fast to be seated waitress was very friendly and helpful. Food came out very fast. Large portions. We order the chicken fried steak and the chicken fried chicken. Very tasteful. Home cake for dessert. Cool atmosphere large dinning area.

A friend and I were on the hunt for somewhere to have breakfast as a late lunch and having no luck. That is, until another restaurant highly recommended Good Day Cafe. It had the vibe of an old small town country diner, the kind I remember visiting as a kid. The kind where everyone is treated like family by friendly, very attentive staff. The kind where the menu has so many choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that is hard to make a choice. The kind where you order a "Farm Skillet" with crisp hashbrowns at 3 o'clock in the afternoon and are thrilled you did.

I'm not a fan of diners normally, but my friend insisted we pop in after I accompanied her to church - she said it would be worth it! It was 12pm on a Sunday - there was a line out the door but it moved quickly. We were seated in a booth and our young server (I sadly didn't keep the receipt with his name) approached us quickly and was very friendly. He didn't rush us, but rather he helped guide me thru the menu so I could make a decision. I needed that because they have a big menu!I chose a 2-egg ham omelet with one pancake - omgEE it was so good but I couldn't eat it all. I don't care for potatoes with my breakfast, but they always come with it anyway, don't they? My hash browns were fried very nicely - not mushy and not too crunchy, yum. Another reason I couldn't eat it all!My friend ordered 2 fried eggs with a variety of meats and potatoes that resembled large quarters. It all looked so homemade and she said it was yummy.I treated my friend and the entire bill was $36 - quite a good value for what we received. Definitely you should stop in here for a great meal and excellent service!

This place has the most AMAZING food!! I initially intended to go to ihop, but I am so glad that I didn't! IHOP's food is frozen, point blank.They'll even tell you if you ask. Good Day Cafe's food is never frozen though! Their food is made to order,always fresh and delicious!! It's literally become my favorite breakfast place, hands down. I hope they become so renowned that they spread out into a chain restaurant. Keep up the good work!!

After passing Good Day for months my son recommended we give this place a try for breakfast. So glad we did. He ordered the chicken and waffles. He could not stop bragging about his delicious waffle and crispy fried chicken breast. Honestly the chicken breast was as large as his Belgium waffle. Coffee comes with unlimited refills and French vanilla too! I have enjoyed coffee on several visits to Good Day. But most recently in these soaring Texas temperatures iced tea is most refreshing! Service can be slow on busy weekends. But your tea, coffee and coke glass remains full! You will have a Good Day after breakfast here.

Cute southern style diner with quick efficient service. We stopped in on our way to do some shopping and they had something for everyone. Wait time was about 15 minutes. They make cakes in house and serve by the slice. Our party of three chose pancakes w side of eggs, chicken nachos, and a grilled catfish platter w vegetables. Everyone left satisfied. Sweet tea was excellent!

Bad experience, skip it!! Just visited this place and they didn't seat us, but then sat next 2 customers! Idk maybe I don't fit the look!! 0/5 cheers!

I have been to 2 of their family owned locations. Grand Prairie and Arlington. This is good diner food. Attentive service. Fair prices. There are so many options for side items! Also, their baked goods...pies, cakes, and some macarons are really great. If you are looking for great tasting American style diner food I highly recommend it

Food. Service. Ambience. Kind of homey. Always enjoy eating there. Only complaint is tea is usually not good. The is always good
