Fuego Mexican Food

Fuego is one of my favorite Mexican food places in the area. It's often overlooked and rarely crowded but the service and food are good. I like the poblano catfish as it's something a little different from all the over-used typical Tex Mex menus. There are TV's around and it's a casual but clean and inviting vibe. I still miss the Three Parrots Taco Shop that was in this building years ago, but I digress. Fuego is a good addition to the other Mexican options in Granbury.

Best street tacos we've ever had and the enchiladas are better than mine.. mine are delicious lol. Great service and food came out fast.

We had not had a chance to try this spot since new owner, Juan, took over. Stopped in for a Monday night dinner and it was so hot out that the shrimp tacos with a mango salsa, sounded perfect. The chips and salsa were good. Shrimp in the tacos were tiny but came with a lot of them and the mango salsa was so good. They are planning a reopening soon so I'm excited to see how this little spot grows.

Trying a new place today. We saw Fuego while dropping off a package at UPS in Granbury. The hostess, and our waitress, Micah, was a pure delight! She explained the menu very well and made a few recommendations. Very friendly. I had Carne something or another. It had a poblano cream sauce...so yummy. Hubby had fajita beef enchiladas with a carne something sauce...sorry, can't recall the full names. That was yummy too. We had Chili con queso too. The queso was good. Could have been hotter Every thing had a good flavor. Micah and her friendly service put it over the top. We plan on returning to see if visit #2 holds up the 4 star review.

Our food and service was fantastic. The owner was very kind and attentive to customer service. The margaritas were also wonderful.

We love Fuego! It is the best Mexican food that we have found in Granbury so far!! The Tacos al Carbon are delicious (9/10) and the hot sauce for the chips is good!! The live music on the weekends was great! They played a lot of retro (70's and 80's) popular music that was fun to listen to. Nice, polite and prompt service. We will be back a lot!

This place is great! Much better Mexican food than some of the tourist traps on 377. The habanero salsa is great and fajitas are 20% off all day Friday

Passing through town looking for Mexican food... reviews were mixed for all places but decided to give Fuego a try. Glad we chose this restaurant! Our server was new but went and asked questions when she didn't know our answers. She was super sweet and attentive! The owner was serving food and drinks himself as well as building relationships and answering questions. I ordered the Chicken Encremades and hubby ordered the tamale plate. The chicken breast was tender and flavorful. The cream sauce was a cheese sauce, and the tortillas seemed to be made in house. The tamales were huge. They served chicken and pork. I preferred the chicken but the pork was good too. They don't make these in house but the owner said he has a person make the tamales for them - I understand the time commitment involved, chips were light and hot sauce had good flavor but not a lot of heat. The rice was light and fluffy not starchy and stuck together. Definitely more Mexican food versus Tex Mex, but very good. Cost was reasonable with large portions. They also have a bar and serve a wide variety of beer and drinks - we didn't try any.

I don't give 4 stars as most know but this place deserves 4 stars . My friend and I ate here a couple days ago and the food is amazing . We both had tacos and they were full of meat cheese and lettuce plus the shells are homemade . I have ever has such awesome beans and rice and the salsa was spectacular. I'm very picky about salsa but no denying this is the best .The waitress went in and in about how great the food is and she didn't lie . I'm looking forward to out next girls shopping day to go back . If the food is the great can you imagine how great the margaritas are?? We will see very soon !!Way to go

First off, this place is great for customer service. They are really interested you having a good experience. I had chicken enchiladas and I thought they were great. Looking at other tables made me want to come back to try more dishes. Chips are fresh and free!
