Frezko Taco Spot

It's National Taco Day so we looked for a good Taco place in our area and found this joint.We ordered a fish taco, Birria taco plate, 4-taco plate that you can mix/match (carne asada, pollo asada, barbacoa and carnitas), shrimp quesadilla. Hubby got 2 pollo asada and 2 carne asada. I got the shrimp quesadilla and fish taco. The fish taco was so good same with the shrimp quesadilla which is served exactly as shown in their menu. The 4-taco plate was also flavorful. Our orders came with this bean soup and they tasted really good, I was wanting more.You pay at the counter but our food didn't take long. Ambience was cozy and clean. We will definitely go back here to try their other dishes.

Very good. Definitely has a chain vibe, but the tacos were good. However, I noticed the two dishes we ordered had too much oil. The chips and salsa were very good. I ordered the corn tortillas with carne asada (it was ground beef so a bit disappointed because I thought it was steak ) and the Spice Ramen noodle. It was soup with beef and a kick, had oil too but had flavor. However, It was salty for me. I would go back for the tacos.

Food was excellent! Good quality and served hot and pretty, too! There were 8 of us and they easily accommodated us inside. With concrete floors and hard walls, the loud music really hindered our conversations. I had the street tacos - and there were 4 of them but I couldn't nearly finish them. Hubby had the Birria tacos and loved them. Several had the nachos that could have easily been shared with at least one other. It would really help if there was someway to describe the sizes because we ordered enough food for a party twice our size so we had a lot of leftovers and a lot of food thrown away. What would I say before that the kids quesadilla is half of a tortilla cut into four little pieces. In short, it was perfect. However, the bathrooms were gross! !!

This is a self service counter and its cute but no frills. The tables could have all used a wipe down and it wasnt busy. The tacos come all the way but you are charged for sour cream with the quesadilla. The staff was pleasant and they offer everyone a free bowl of delicious bean soup

Good tacos are not hard to find in DFW, but great tacos are another matter. We had some great tacos today at Frezko. Unassuming place in a strip mall right off the highway. Once inside the atmosphere is fun. Service was friendly and fast. What really stood out was the food. We had carne asada, carnitas and chicken. The Chicano fries were a pleasant surprise as well. Huge serving and totally addictive. This place is really a great find, highly recommend!

Chain vibes but authentic Mexican food. I asked the guy behind the counter what kind of cheese they use for their elote and he said that he wasn't sure, but it's called queso fresco and I knew it was gonna be BOMB. You could tell also by the music they played. The portions are HUUUUGE. My quesodilla must have been made from a burrito tortilla. Great spot. New fav.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while and finally had the opportunity to a few weeks ago. My husband and I arrived early on a Saturday afternoon and the place was empty. Having never need there before, of course we needed to star at the menu for a while deciding what to order! I wish the cashier would have been a little more friendly and/or engaging, but she seemed disinterested. Not rude, just not very customer service-y.I ended up ordering the torta with a side of fries and small queso. I've never had a torta before, and I was in for a surprise. It was huge and fresh, the bread was soft, the chicken was delicious. The fries are hand cut, which is a huge plus and they were cooked perfectly. The queso was pretty thin, but was very good. Hubs ordered the tacos which comes with 4 to an order. I believe he ordered 1 of each type of meat. His favorite was the steak, but he said they were all really good. The restaurant was clean. The drinks are self serve and they have a station with hot sauce if you wish to partake. I truly wish we had a Frezko Taco close to home. Or maybe not, because I would visit too frequently!

We were in town for one night and wanted something easy for our large party of 11 to enjoy. The cashier was so great !! She was very knowledgeable , great at multitasking , they greeted us upon entry and didn't rush us when ordering or asking questions. We had a few vegetarians in our group and the option for "veggie" is just sautéed pico which you can make any of the menu options vegetarian but it would be cool if there was maybe some mushrooms or zucchini to throw in. The lack of additional veggies didn't change the fact that almost everything we had was AMAZING! A few things were the fish tacos Baja style, the chingano fries - we had both veggie and birria- these were such a large portion it could have fed 2-3 people each ! We had a veggie quesadilla, a steak burrito, chips and queso with guacamole, as well as birria tacos & The elote in a cup however the elote was the ONLY thing we wouldn't order again, it had an odd taste we couldn't put our finger on. The service is counter service but everyone who came to deliver the food to the tables near by always checked to make sure we were okay. The establishment was very clean and modern. Highly recommend for a quick bite whether you are dinning in or ordering to go! We were so hungry forgot to take pics of all the food before digging in!

We got 2 fish tacos apiece, they were really big and tasty. 2 were too many, could have had 1. We loved them.

First time trying Frezko taco spot...ordered 2 Shrimp Tacos and we'll see how they taste...but the wait time is waaaay too long for two tacos...UPDATE...Tacos = fire! #nomnomnom
