Fountain Cafe

My favorite place when I'm at Dallas Market! The Bean Poblano soup is delish!Great service too, Valentin is awesome and very Polite!

It's a friggin employee cafe. You have to be an employee or too poor for the design district next door. Like tapioca pudding? How about week-old bananas at fresh prices? Mmmmm-hmmm institutional Mac and cheese with applesauce. Sad. Sad. Sad.

There's not much to say here - standard cafeteria fare. I had a decent buffalo chicken sandwich with some decent onion rings, and it was reasonably priced - maybe a tiny bit expensive, but nothing out of line. The reason I wanted to review this is because it's a restaurant...in the same building as the client's datacenter. Do you have any idea how nice it is to go get a sandwich without leaving the building and driving all over Dallas hunting for something? Quick in, quick out...I wish all datacenters had this. Instead of the awful vending machine options.

I was visiting the trade center for the day, and I was expecting boring unhealthy mall food. This place is the opposite of that! I had a hard time deciding between the kale and butternut squash rice bowl, or the chicken enchilada with slaw topping in a crepe wrapper. I got the enchilada, and it was amazing! The sauce was crazy good, and the whole thing was ready in less than 10 minutes. Would definitely eat here again.

First day of Market. Lunch time ! Busiest time of the day.We went down to Fountain Cafe to have some lunch.Place was packed!We orders drinks and some food . We noticed our young waiter was having a tough time. It was his second day on the job. Nice kid....trying very hard to please everyone. But some people don't understand what it's like to be young and new on the job and struggling your first couple of days.He brought us our food and drinks and all was great.Table next to us the guy started giving this poor kid a really hard time . We could tell he was so upset!The guy was a total jerk!The rest of the staff were trying to help him out .It was so busy!He brought us our check I handed him cashAnd hugged him .He was shaking !!!! What does it take to be nice and give someone a break?He smiled and said. " you made my day"Can't ask for anything better than that !!!!Fountain Cafe your food and drinks are amazing .So is your staff!Especially one young man who had a rough day being talked down to on his 2nd day of work.Be nice to people ! It might even make your day! It sure will make theirs a little nicer!!
