Forestburg Country Store

If you're a biker who rides in North Texas, you already know about this place. But in case you're new to the area, you should know about this place. From the outside, you wouldn't think much. It's an old country store in a tiny, almost-ghost-town looking kind of place. On the inside, it's still old, but you see it's the local market (and if you go the restrooms, you see it's also the local hardware store). Refrigerated displays line the walls with most every kind of soda/water/beverage you'd want. But the best part is in the very back corner. The grill. This is where amazingly simple and delicious burgers get made. The board says they have other food--but I've never had anything but the double cheeseburger and fries. Because they are amazing. The motorcycle riding to get here is fun--but the burgers are the big payoff.

Stopped in ad says open till 7 it's not it's 3 and it was almost 10 mins till 3 and she said sorry grill is off. Normally great food but was upset it was just a few mins before 3 and no service and we went out of our way to come get a burger

Hidden gem! Gotta try when passing through Forestburg. Get the burger with onion rings or honestly anything on the menu can't go wrong.

Such a great community restaurant. Good selection of choices and best hamburgers around. Grilled chicken salads are also fabulous. I recommend the fried okra too!

Best hamburgers and onion rings around!! Nothing fancy but every time I come to town I have to head right over for lunch.
