Things didn't start off great when Yelp led us to a sketchy, broken-down storefront. But hey, we called the number and got the "new" (read: correct) address, which thankfully was nearby. Spoiler alert: they might want to update their signage game because the only sign was on the bottom right of the building instead of, you know, where you can actually see it.Now, let's talk about ordering. They have a fancy kiosk--brand new, apparently--but it's missing a bunch of drink options. So, after a few menu missteps, we ended up ordering the "Truth" baked potato. Figured it'd be quick since they weren't exactly packed. But nope, people were waiting... and waiting. We joined the line of waiters for about 15 minutes until our lukewarm potato arrived, drowning in sauce. This thing was a meat lover's dream with ribs, sausage, and brisket, but it was hard to tell if the brisket or sausage were any good under all that sauce. Also, BBQ is messy, right? Well, apparently, they missed that memo. No extra napkins or paper towels--just those plastic utensil packets with a lone napkin inside, plus a knife, fork, salt, and pepper we definitely didn't need. All in all, some easy fixes could make this place better, but it seems they only bring out the A-game for locals they know. For the rest of us? Just bring your own napkins, a sense of adventure, and maybe skip the Yelp directions. Also definitely family run, it seems there were family squabbles happening all over the place...

So our family will travel for good bbq. We normally drive about an hour to try what critics consider good bbq. Today, my big girl was a little under the weather and my baby girl wanted bbq so we looked up bbq spot close to our home.Fin/G\er2ThaBone BBQ hit the spot. It was nostalgic for my wife and I as it reminded us of the BBQ joints from our childhood. We both had the Truth Bake Potato. It was bussin! We also ordered a rib sandwich, brisket sandwich, and link for the kids. We also got the banana pudding. The family that own this spot are kind good folks. Even connected with Bro. Summerfield one of the owners. Truly blessed us for lunch today. Definitely will be back.If you're in Waxahachie right off of 287 Business, bust a left on Wyatt and you will find this nice quant spot, on your left where the food hits the spot.

It was ok. I was so excited for the brisket nachos and even though they serve a good amount for the price, the flavor was completely masked by the Doritos chips. The chips made everything taste nasty and even after picking the brisket off, it still had the chip seasoning. Really was hoping for more.

For the past four years, I have been on a search for the best barbecue between Dallas and Waco, Texas. This place is by far the best! Old-school family recipes. Absolutely delicious.

I went here with a large group. We warned them we were coming so they stayed open a little later for us. Everyone was satisfied. No issue with staff with such a large group. The food was excellent. We'll be back.

Super greasy and overpriced . Got a sandwich which was small and 2 sides which were $5.00 a piece and the pickles, onions and peppers were .75 a piece and I only got 3 pickles! Won't go back.

I ordered the big baked potato. It was every glorious thing I hoped for. Massive potato, the butter, sour cream, BBQ! The shredded beef, sausage and ribs was more than plenty. Easily enough for 2 ppl or 1 very hungry person. The service was great. It was hot and ready for pickup so fast. Very nice folks. The ambiance was nice. Cool lil joint. If I wasn't planning to head home to eat, I could have hung out for a while eating enjoying the anime they had playing on the TV.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this Q is the real deal. This brisket can stand up to anything you can find in Lockhart, Texas. On par with Blacks, Kreuz Mkt, Chisholm Trail and Smitty's. Pretty close to Franklin BBQ in Austin. As an ex-Austinite, I've been in a few quality BBQ shops.I now live in the Dallas area. Quality Smoked meats are few and far between. I had a free afternoon and took a road trip to Waxahachie to check Fingers out.The Summerfield family has a true gem down south of DFW. Friendly, helpful and out of this world BBQ. Worth the drive from anywhere in North Texas.
