My husband and I chose to celebrate our first Valentine's Day as a married couple here. We were not disappointed! Our reservation definitely fell during a lull in their dinner service, so we had great service that did not feel rushed. The filet mignon was melt in your mouth tender, my salmon bella donna was cooked to perfection, and the wine was great. Everything was seasoned to perfection - I'm not quite sure what other reviewers were talking about seasoning wise. My big (and only) complaint is that the tiramisu, while flavorful and packed with Amaretto, lacked the bitterness of espresso. It would have been a nice balancing note between the sweetness of the amaretto and the richness of the cream. I won't complain too much though... I could have licked that plate clean

One of the most authentic and best Italian restaurants in the DFW metroplex. People who run this restaurant make sure you really enjoyed it and the atmosphere is amazing. Will definitely come back.

First time going to Ferraris and was impressed with the entire event. Service was outstanding, the cocktail I had was very good, food was excellent, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Price wise a bit more than expecting, but overall well worth it. Highly recommend...

When you enter the place it looks classy. Then the greeter takes me to some trays by the kitchen instead of seating me. We go through this long show and tell, pointing at uncooked meat and telling me what the various specials are. Weird and annoying, I just wanted to sit.The menu had some nice choices. I ordered a bosco salad and spaghetti with chucks of filet and pork. The salad was delicious. The spaghetti was disappointing. Instead of chucks of meat, it was finely ground. The sauce covering was minimal. The portion was big.

I will start by saying that this place is a favorite of mine and my coworker. She and I always make it a point to dine here when we are in town on business. The parking lot is never full and the place isn't much to look at from the outside. No worries though...press on and you won't be disappointed. We usually make reservations but this last time we didn't and had no issues being seated immediately. It should be noted that we almost always go there on a Monday or Tuesday evening, so I can't speak for the business volume on a weekend. The host is always gracious and will stop with you at an iced down "special station" where the featured menu items are plated and displayed. He or she talks through them for you with a detailed description before taking you to your table. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful with a kind of upscale old Italy kind of feel, with white table cloths and the whole 9 yards. The lighting is dim, so if you're like me and can't see a lick, make sure you have your phone flashlight handy for reading that menu!!The service is always very good here in my experience. Servers are knowledgeable and able to answer any questions. We did not order an appetizer, but a word to the wise is that each table receives a complimentary order of the focaccia bread with marinara sauce - you just have to ask for it. It's delicious, so of course we ordered that!I have an unusual food allergy - my chief complaint at this restaurant is that I like to order the sea bass and it comes topped with lump crab meat (that's how it is described on the menu). I am allergic to lobster but i CAN have crab. When I read the menu, I would make the assumption that I would be safe to have that dish. Of course I always make the server aware of my allergy regardless of what I order, and when I did that, he informed me that the lump crab meat on the sea bass is mixed with lobster meat as well. The manager was gracious and substituted a side of shrimp instead, but a bit more truth in menu would be much appreciated. My coworker ordered the gnocchi and a side of brussels. I have had the gnocchi here before as well...I highly recommend(!!) and she also said the brussels were amazing. The sea bass is always good - nicely cooked with good flavor, and not dry. Helpful hint: the menu doesn't say this, but the sea bass also comes with a side of cauliflower puree. It's good, but I think for the type of restaurant it is and the price point, they could do a better job plating the dish. You eat with your eyes. :-) We didn't get dessert on this trip because our flight had gotten delayed and it was late, but we have before. I recommend getting the chocolate mousse tart (may not be calling that by the right name)...it is super rich but so good. They also do a nice bananas foster tableside that's cool to watch.Bottom line....This is a very nice restaurant with good food and good service. Great place for a nice dinner out. You should go.

Great hospitality and the food was good quality. We like the fact that they prepare so many items table side. The owner works there, which makes a huge difference.

What a wonderful restaurant at which to have a private party / dining experience. Cindy was absolutely amazing to work with throughout the planning. The party menu choices were excellent and included a chicken dish, filet, sea bass and rack of lamb and allowed for each guest to pick their entree of choice. Each entree was prepared by the chef to perfection and unparralled presentation. The entrees are served with family style pasta dishes and dinner is followed by desserts (we chose Italian Surprise - a three flavor ice cream dish presented with flair and flame.). The service was attentive with a dedicated server in a cordial, non-obtrusive manner. The price for value ration was certainly acceptable. I highly recommend Ferrari's Italian Villa and Chop house in Grapevine, Texas for your fine dinning and private party desires.
