Ernie's Spanish Kitchen

I have been wanting to try this place for some time every time I pass it's packed I asked several people about it but they just brushed me off it was like why I wonder as there is always so many vehicles in the parking lot that there is no where to park I don't understand it I finally said you know I'm going to go and find out for myself so I did! I ordered food for takeout let me tell you all you can't listen to others from time to time I'm so glad I went myself I've been missing out for sure this place is great! The staff was very warm and caring again I had phone ordered my order when I arrived I explained I placed my order over the phone but forgot to order dessert the gal stated that's not a problem another gal ran over to the the dessert case and cut a piece of pie for me. While that one was cutting the pie another one ran to the kitchen to see if my order was ready these gals had it together another asked if I had any drinks if so she was going to get the drinks ready. I got home I'm telling you I ordered the Kelly Special that was so good I sure enjoyed it my meat was very tender the favor was very good, the salsa was awesome I should've ordered some tortillas that's the only thing but my meal was very good ! I feel I have been missing out I want to Thank Everyone at Ernie's I sure enjoyed it I will be back !Gracias

This place was friendly, with an easy going atmosphere and the waitress hustled her butt off to please us. The food service was fast! The 2 stars was because the food was awful. Store bought and heated up.

We are in Breckenridge on a work trip, and you got to eat somewhere! I voted for Ken's Chicken and Fish, but I lost cause the bosss vote counts more! I had never been to Ernie's Spanish Kitchen, but I'm game! One thing I have learned from waitstaff I know is the daily specials are always made fresh that day, so it's usually a good idea to get it. Today the special is chicken and spinach enchiladas. While we waited on our food, we slammed down some REALLY good chips and salsa. Great salsa can turn a good meal into a wonderful meal. I'm not an enchilada fan. That's Glenda's thing. These were wonderful. They were literally COVERED in cheese. I would certainly order them again. Give Ernie's a try!

Friendly staff and great food, but did see a dead fly on the window seal next to our table and my mom got a dirty fork with some kind of lettuce of something stuck to the bottom of the fork. They also had some pies their to. I had chocolate and was great. For the drink I had iced water and ask for lemon wedges instead of fresh lemons I got little packets of lemon juice. Fresh lemon would have been better than the packets of lemon juice. The Queso was okay and salsa was decent.

It's impossible to find food anywhere in Breckenridge-- I was happy to come across this place! It's tasty, fast service, great beer choices, and the staff it lovely.

Interesting little place I found thanks to yelp. We were driving with no clue of the area. The food was good and place was clean and our waitress was very friendly. Loved their salsa!

Food is really good! George's, #16 and low carb chicken are 3 of our favorites!Amber and Destiny always take great care of us!

Honestly worst restaurant in breckenridge. The waitress was more worried about the people she knew personally. Forgot all about my buddy and myself. Steak is dry and such a tight space to enjoy your meal. DO NOT RECOMMEND.... If I can leave no stars I would...

We were about 45 minutes from Ernies on Saturday night. We checked the website for times and it showed they closed at 10 pm. We walked in at 9:10 pm and they said oh we are so sorry we just closed!!!!! Poor customer service on their part. We pass through at least 3-4 times a year and love to stop in. We have always had great service until last night. Needless to say we won't be stopping anymore.
