I know that this place has gotten mixed reviews, but my experience was nothing short of amazing. I brought the kids here for their New Years Eve Bash and it was awesome. The place has a huge private parking lot and provide a shuttle ride if you are parked too far out. I purchased my tickets online, but you are able to buy them in person, if you so chose. If you wait to buy them in person though, the park may be full and you will not be allowed to get in. The Water Park kept its promise and the air and water were 85 degrees. There is no outside food allowed and they check your bags for food when you enter. The staff there were very friendly and helpful from top to bottom. They were full of energy and planned a very good event. This place is BYOT (Bring your Own Towel). They do not have any towel service. You can buy some from their shop if you did not bring one though. The park has a lot to keep you entertained. They have a medium sized arcade, where you are able to play games for points and then redeem those points for some cheap prizes. You will also find a full bar here with beer and signatures cocktails for purchase. They also have a Wave Rider, but you need to sign a waiver if you would like to partipate in that ride. The Park's lazy river was cool, but it ain't that lazy, meaning kids are running by you like they are in the Indy 500. The park has a regular pool with a basketball court and a floating shark to ride. Next to that is the HUGE kids splash pad area, Rascal's Round Up, with slides, waterfalls, sprayers, and more, all in a wading pool. The park does not have any loungers chairs. They do however, have a bunch of tables and chairs around the kids and regular pools. There are also a bunch near the bar area. They are first come, first serve. I did not have a problem securing a table for my family and stuff. You can rent lockers at the park, but I took my chances and just keep my stuff at the table I secured. It also served as a placeholder for my table. If you want a spot to call your own at the park, you can rent a cabana. The cabanas are really nice. They have The Park's snack bar served burgers, chicken tenders, wraps, chicken sandwiches, quesadillas, nachos, pretzels, and a 22" hotdog. The park features a few slides. Two slides are two-seater raft slides. There is a 4 lane racer slide that you use a mat and go head first and then there are two extreme slides, with very steep drops. My kids liked the raft slides the most. You will see a wave pool outside in the back that is connected to the indoor facility by a garage door. It looked like a nice area, but I could not experience (nor did I want to) because it was closed for the season. The lazy river did have some waves at certain times though. Some of the special events that they had for the New Years Eve event were circus performers, a duck drop, crafts, a raffle, and a dinner. It was a really fun time and even though there were a lot of people there, it did not feel that crowded because they had so much to do and it was so spaced out. I would happily go back here anytime and I highly recommend this place for year-round fun.

Just moving to DFW we took the little one here late in the afternoon to check it out for the rest of our kids. The Staff members A.C and Steveo really helped us out going above and beyond to welcome us. We will definitely be getting Annual Passes and spending some time here. Awesome place for the family!

Love this place. It is budget friendly and my kids had a blast. The only bad part was the lines for the slides but you should expect that at any water park it was so fun I stayed for hours with my kids.

I brought my fiancée here for Valentine's Day weekend. We thought it was be less people but we were so wrong! It was pretty packed with a lot of kids. With that being said, the lines for the slides, arcade, and food moved very quickly. We enjoyed all of the slides, the lazy river, and the snack bar. I went on the yellow slide that removed the plexi glass underneath your feet had me stunned for 15 mins!! The lazy river was cool but the kids were very rowdy. Per usual, the food sucked so I suggest eating before. All in all we had a good time but I'm not sure if we would go back. We are a bit more adventurous and I think this park is geared more towards kids.

We had been planning on coming to Epic for awhile, but wanted to give it some time to calm down from initial year or two worth of busy. As well we had hoped to come on a non-busy day. We lucked out going on New Years day. When you walk in there is a bag check. You can bring in sealed water bottles but other outside food isn't allowed, with certain understandable exemptions. They serve various food inside, but based on the FAQ it seems like if you could leave and come back in theory. We just made sure to eat before we went, and got food after we left. There was a little bit of a line but that was to redeem groupons. We had gotten our tickets on their website because the groupon didn't work out for the number of people we had with us. We ended up being able to go right up to a side counter to check in. The lady working ended up giving my kiddo a 24 point game card. My kiddo ended up playing a VR game and two ticket games that earned him some candy from the counter. Once inside, and with us being there for about 3 hours, it wasn't busy the day we went. They have a number of slides ... two look like multiple riders, a racing ride, and 3 single riders based on my count. There is a play area, and area with basketball nets, and a lazy river. Unfortunately the wave pool is outside, so it is only open during what is normal outdoor water park season. All of the staff we interacted with were nice and on top of safety. The only issue I could think of was that the music choices had a whole lot of unbleeped curse words. Would be fine if it was a teen or adult night, but interesting choice when most of the clients were kids around 10 and under with their grownups. Only reason I point it out is I don't want staff being yelled by an upset parent because someone didn't think about the curse words. Pricing ... if you can get a groupon if it works for your group size. For there being 3 of us going it was $132. Cheaper than a room at GWL during peak times, but I've also gotten a room there for around that price if not less during non-peak times and rooms include up to 6 passes. (I haven't tried doing the day passes at GWL.) So, for me its a bit more of what you are looking for in timing and effort.

August 23, 2024 received an email from a Epic, I have been taking my son and other children to for nearly 6 years about an event they were having coming up in October. I signed up for the tickets to event, received them via email August 23, 2024. As we do every year this was going to be early bday weekend for my son who we have birthdays at every year for him and his friends as this event was taking place a few weeks before his birthday. As it came closer to the day of the event i received emails reminding me of the event and as i looked at the email it mentioned about outdoor activities which made me wonder if this included swimming at the indoor water park because that is all the children are into was swimming On October 25th, at 2:44pm I called epic waters and asked the employee who answered the phone if attending this event includes coming inside and swimming and he stated yes as I then said what is your name in case there was any confusion when we arrived as this was a 3-hour drive for us to come and he said is theirs any problem ask for AP. On day of event I gathered up my child and 2 of his friends to bring them to epic waters once we got there we were checking in and girl behind counter said these tickets are not for coming inside I explained I called up here and spoke with AP she called a manager down who I explained to what happened and she just said sorry he was wrong and there is nothing I can do for you, and he employee I spoke to is off today. At 6:08 PM on October 26th myself + 3 children were sitting outside, the children were sad I was angry as seen in picture. I was calling asking for GM I was emailing a email i found online for their marketing director Mark, trying to get someone else to look into this with no luck. We drive 3 hours back, on October 28th, 2024 3:01 PM i called epic waters to talk to whoever was in charge with no luck reached out to GM Michael Hays on Facebook who then called me and said mark would reach out to take care of the kids weeks went by did not hear anything back so reached back out to Michael who then forgot who i was once reminded then became short and said what's your address i will send a few passes out and i said that is not enough we drive a total of 6 hours so a few free passes will not make up for time, gas, sad kids, angry parents etc. He said you want them or not that's all I'm going to do, so now me and the other parents are on a new mission! A family place that makes kids sad sitting out front at 6pm on birthday ! yeah !

Overall an enjoyable experience, fun rides, great tasting food. Only thing I noticed is most of the life guards weren't paying attention, at all. Some couldn't care less while others were too busy chatting up with their friends.

Went to the waterpark, 70% of staffs and leads + managers were terrible. They did not even care. Flow rider with hilarious rules and make no sense. I rather go the Cove at Lakefront for the Flow Rider than coming to the Epic. The line for the ride was the worst.
