Great country cooking. We were there for breakfast and got coffee, Spanish omelet, French toast and eggs. From what we were told they were down a cook when we visited but we were not there for "fast" food we were there for good food. It was not too long a wait and was worth it. Very relaxed environment and country feel.

Wont be back. Horrible food! My okra was way over cooked and small portions. Husband got chicken fried steak gravy was awful. Tastes of old grease and cold mash potatoes! Told the waitress finally when she came to pick up our plates, She said hmmm.. The girl that checked us out out asked how was everything we told her and she was like I'm sorry why didnt you say something? I said she never came back to out table! Didnt take and money off our bill! Nothing! Wont be back

This place is worth the drive! I was working in the area and came across this lil jewel. They have daily lunch specials, on this particular day it was chicken fried chicken w/ 2 sides for $6.99! I had the greens beans and mashed potatoes & gravy of course and a roll (or cornbread). Food was fresh, made for scratch and service was quick! Oh yeah and when paying out don't forget to grand a $.99 brownie they make daily.

Great little joint where there's not much else. We loved the burgers and onion rings, beer battered and served with homemade ranch. We were stuffed but got dessert anyway when she said homemade peach cobbler. It was amazing. My one year old cried when it was gone. I might have to drive out of my way to go back.

My family loves Ells, and today it was just my dad and I that went. We had a long day of work and walked in around 6:45 because their sign said they closed at eight. When we sat down they said they were getting ready to close and that because of that they were only serving burgers. Which was kind of confusing taking into account that they were closing an hour and a half from then. We were very upset because we were looking forward to the great atmosphere and food and the outcome was very disappointing.
