To all the folks who were disappointed that Elena's was closed over the past few weeks you will be Delighted, they are NOW OPEN Again! Newly renovated with the delicious menu they've always served. As always it's always like visiting family here with the warm hospitality

Not traditional Barbacoa but it was decent and tender. Potato egg cheese was good. Would probably return to try other items

Elena's is so good! A friend of mine has been coming here for a while and told me I had to try it. I'm so glad he recommended it because it is delicious. A very warm and welcoming family feel too from the team. I had the breakfast burrito and it was fresh and tasty. I'll definitely be back!

Truly a hole in the wall. Love their breakfast tacos, tamales, and freshly squeezed orange juice. They were great with service as well - kindly offered me a sample of the agua fresca and it was delicious! Thoroughly impressed and we will be back... maybe even again today! Yum

Great breakfast tacos this morning. Actually all their food is top notch. They can make almost anything you want. Super Nachos are tasty, the enchiladas are very good. They have fajitas served hot and fresh. Everybody speaks English (I'm a gringo ) and are very friendly and run a clean little restaurant. I recommend them for your Mexican fix.

This Hidden hole in the wall is a MUST! I am a regular for their menudo which is simply perfection. She even asked if I wanted hominy and the pata, foot, in there. The tripe was mostly in bite size pieces and had great flavor, which isn't usually the case at most placThe refried beans weren't greasy and had great flavor and smooth consistency. Breakfast tacos were generously filled with eggs and many other delicious choices.This is a must try!!!

The food is amazing! Coming from San Antonio and having a love for some great Tex mex food DFW lacks the quality of it. Elena's is the place to go for great Mexican food, this place makes amazing food with amazing flavor. It's a small mom and pop place and provides great welcoming environment! I love coming here for breakfast to go or taking my out of town friends to visit.

Very friendly people serving large portions of excellently prepared and tasty food at reasonable prices. What else do you want? If you're scared of the "hole in the wall" look then you'll miss out on some of the best comida mexicana in town. It's small so be prepared. You may want to snag a to go order if you live close by. Either way, you won't be disappointed. I love the chorizo con huevos. My wife loves the chilaquiles with the salsa verde. Eggs were cooked perfectly, too. By the way, we aren't hispanic so don't be scared. They are nice to everyone.
