El Trebol Taqueria

I'm in such disbelief as I type this review. So a few days ago I had the craving for some chiccharonnes tacos, and decided to hit up my favorite hole in the wall. I placed an order togo, and waited, a few minutes later I received my order. I should've checked it before I left. When I arrived home, I noticed I didn't have any cilantro, onion, or lime with my order, no biggie-I keep that at home. So after I fixed my tacos the way I wanted them, and took a bite into them, OMG I spit my food out immediately. My chiccharrones were so tough, no flavor, the tortillas were cold and stale, the hot sauce was frozen. I was so disappointed being that this is my go to place for tacos. Oh well I guess all good things must come to an end, unfortunately.

Pretty good little spot! The tacos are filled generously. They have a decent size menu in which I look forward to trying. We ran into someone we know personally who says they frequent the place once sometimes twice a week so that says a lot. I gave it 4 stars because it's 100 degrees in July and it was a little warm inside - patrons around us were sweating including myself. I had a shrimp cocktail which was good in flavor. I had fajita tacos which were great. I look forward to returning and trying new things. Stay tuned.

This place is a hot mess. I came in confused because it was a large cluttered room. The music was too loud. There were tables at the entrance but then it turned into an office, a grocery store, a jewelry shop, and what I'm assuming is supposed to be a bill paying center of some sort. There was nobody willing to help me order some burritos to go. Finally after 10 minutes of standing in front of a desk a man asked what I wanted to eat. I told him what I wanted (without a menu handed to me) and he left without me paying.After I ordered I stood awkwardly between a table and some refrigerators that had food, drinks, fruit and opened milks.As I stood there I witnessed one of the waitresses bagging a taco. It fell to the floor and she picked it up, re-wrapped it in its foil and bagged it. I felt like I was a bother because the waitresses kept asking me to move over to grab things from the fridge. I hadn't even had the food and I was ready to run out of there. I figured I had already waited 20 minutes so I might as well taste the food. It was nothing special. I'm a hispanic who grew up with Juarez mexican food so I appreciate grease on my food but these tacos were drowning in grease. I'd recommend anybody to head over to Two Amigos that's right down the street. Never trying new mexican restaurants again. I'm sticking to Two Amigos!

Great breakfast tacos. Friendly service and great ambiance. Love this place of you ready to have the best breakfast tacos in Waxahachie you should go to this place it is fabulous!!!!!!

First time here and WOW, it was a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and comfortable and SUPER CLEAN. Amazing food and fast service. It's a family owned taqueria and it shows with how great the service is and the exceptional food. This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool and the staff are really friendly. They know what they're doing and what they're talking about and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is superior to anything else in Hachie and for the prices it's 1000% worth it.Definitely will return!!!El Trebol Taqueria

I walked In this place for the first time, the waitress helped me figure out what to order and made suggestions, really nice of her. On the other hand the gentleman who charged me did not want to hear me out when I said I asked for chips and salsa except he said I'm not understanding how chips and salsa are priced. Mind u I asked my waitress before hand. Anyway the guy mentioned he's the owner and had the odassity to go back and forth over my chips and salsa. When all I was stating is that I ordered them for the 3$ the waitress mentioned. I told him I won't ever be back. He was not professional at all... I don't recommend this place. My wife had a torta. Bread tasted very old, waste of 11$... if u have to see for yourself go for it. I only gave it 1 star because u have to.. poor service by the owner.!!

Not a good experience first time there over an hour waiting time with only 10 15 customers last time I already guacamole only to find out that they had no chips hot sauce Mexican restaurant without chips and hot sauce does not make a Mexican restaurant nice people not very good service

When the older lady is there order the guacamole then listen for the sound of her making it for you. The fajita tacos with cilantro and onion on corn are my favorite. The red sauce seems to have horseradish in it as it reminds me of shrimp sauce. Love the food and atmosphere. This is our favorite taco hole in the wall.

Man oh man, their salsa is one of the best salsa's I've had. Little hole in the wall with great margaritas. Their food is always fresh. Staff always friendly.

Driving through Tx and swung by randomly.What a great spot. I picked up the Al Pastor burrito and two asada tacos. Al pastor was very flavorful. Tacos were stuffed - not bad for $1.79 per taco. Salsa was tasty and the server was very nice and even gave me chips and salsa while i waited and handed me a giant water to go. I'll be back!
