El Atoron Taqueria & Restaurant

Great little taqueria. Got chorizo. Pastor, and barbacoa and all the meats were juicy and delicious! We also got stuffed churros for dessert, they were warm and gooey-deliciousness!

Two people can share one. I never finish mine only half. Variety of Tortas to choose from and they can make you a custom one if you like. The Tortas do not come with french fries, but can for extra. A must try: Horchata, taste very fresh and homemade, doesn't taste powdery.For dessert I recommend the Strawberry Filled Churro, very gooood! I wanna drive there just to get some right now. LOL. Plenty of seating, Some parking in front of building and some on the side. Nice little joint to stop by and have a decent meal for the prices.

I thought out meals were AMAZING! The torta was probably one of the best ones i've had in the area. I do think the salsa that comes with the chips could be a little better but you can't complain when it's free. I will definitely be coming back!

I've been coming to this family business since high school; this was when they were located on Main (El Atoron I and II), before I had a license and a car, and we had to walk here from GPHS. They've moved twice since, now located east of the Beltline bridge on Jefferson.I'm a huge pastor fan, and I LOVE how they include pineapples in their pastor. Their torta isn't too bread-y and all the ingredients just meld together to form the most delicious sandwich. I don't remember what I used to order when I was younger, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Prices are very fair, service is prompt, and the food hits the spot. Eating here is very nostalgic, and I'll continue to follow them wherever they move. Definitely recommend this hole in the wall!

Best tortas in Grand Prairie. Been coming here since they were at their other location in gp. I always get the fajitas torta flavorful meat. Huge bread. I've also tried the menudo, love how they serve it with bread. The bistec ala Mexicana plate is also really good. They are now serving beer. Which is awesome with tacos.

One of the best places for tortas i have ever been to. I ALWAYS get the Torta Alemana and its freaking good. Its a good size, enough to feed 2 people. Place is always nice and clean with respectful people.

Service is never up to par. Past two times I've come here they've always messed up my order. They never pay attention.

This food was absolutely amazing! One of the best tortas I've had in Dallas And the Pastor tacos are incredible. To die for.

Food was decent, service so so they could be friendlier and more attentive, the waitresses we're watching a series in their phone which we could hear all the way to our table they were definitely not discreet about it. Their agua de sabores was however delicious. I would give them another try.
