Dv's Homemade Donuts

My family and I have been coming to this donut shop for years. We have always felt welcomed every time we come in. The owner is so sweet. I love that she always ask how my family is doing when I come in and she always throws in a bag of donut hole for free with my orders. Their donuts are soooo soft and fluffy. I don't care what others say about this shop. Will always be my favorite

Delicious donuts served with a friendly smile.This is my family's go-to donut store. We have tried all kinds of donuts and kolaches. They are all tasty. The employees are always friendly. You can get a parking place out front and get in and out quickly.

I have worked by this location for a while now and have been coming here all this time. When I first started this was my donut spot. Pricing was great and the donuts fresh and tasty. Recently though, probably in the past year or so they have been slipping for me. They have gone up on pricing and the quality has gone down, enough where it does not justify the pricing, for me at least. Lately I have also noticed the sun in the morning beats right into there display case and essentially melting all the icing on the donuts. So when you go dig into your bag, you come out with hella stained sticky fingers with a smeared bag to boot. The couple that owns the place are super nice and always friendly. Sadly I find myself skipping this place more and more when it comes to donuts.

I went here all the time as a kid, and the owner knew me so well. Even as an adult (23 years old) the woman recognized me and instantly asked how my mom is doing. When I started working at Starbucks, I would grab 2 dozen donuts from my then favorite (DV donuts) shop and surprise and delight my partners. However one week she was there... and the next she was gone. I was so heartbroken over this woman leaving, but I knew she needed that SO well deserved retirement! I decided to give the new place a try, but was disappointed in the lack of fluffiness that her donuts had. The glaze was a little more as well, so the whole composition was off. My other go to when I grab donuts is the cinnamon sugar cake. Theirs had little seasoning on it and tasted more like straight sugar than cinnamon. The new owner seemed nice and appeared to give great customer service. I rate 3 stars only because of the lack of perfection in their craft. I'm hopeful it will grow and transform into a new donut shop all it's own, and that the donuts might get a little fluffier.

people are always rude and it's overpriced I got two things this morning and paid $16 The food was good but don't think it's really worth paying $16 especially when I paid 7$ for a small Red Bull

Picked up a dozen doughnuts here before work on a Thursday. The service was quick and friendly. They don't have a huge doughnut selection, but I tend to prefer just regular yeast-risen glazed doghnuts anyway. And theirs are amazing.Definitely check them out if you're looking for a good doughnut around Arlington!

I've been coming to DV's for about a year now and their donuts are always fresh. I'll either come here or Shipley's but it depends on what I'm in the mood for. Shipley's has really great donuts but sometimes they're too thick, so I prefer them when they're hot and almost melt in your mouth. DV's has comparably great donuts but I've never had one hot there - and I specifically go to the one where they are made in store (this location). They have two locations, one is down a zig-zag of streets but is within a 5 mile radius.The main item I prefer at DV's over Shipley's is their sausage rolls. Some call them kolaches, I always think of pastries with preserves when I hear them mentioned as that so I just stick with sausage rolls. They have the right size sausage wiener for the bread they're wrapped in. I'll write a separate review for Shipley's when I go back but if you ever try them out, you may be surprised at how much breading they have. It's almost like a hotdog bun wrapped around this little bitty sausage link.Every time I go into DV's the same kind appearing Asian lady is there ready to serve. She's never not smiling. She is super sonic quick with the register, which for some reason leads me to second guess her work but I have never said anything. I just trust she's doing it right and I know if I should ever want a receipt she would provide one. I will keep going back to this place.Friend me if you're friendly! SYOY

absolutely horrible got 2 sausage rolls, 2 blue berry things 2 glazed dounts As well as a strawberry milk and a Chocolate milk my gf said the strawberry milk was bad idk I did not try it after she said that the Chocolate milk wasnt cold at all cool maybe at best, the food was literally probably one of the worst things I have ate in a very long time in all honesty ive spent time in jail and it was truly comparable to jail food thats how bad it was. then i go to pay and its on a how much would you like To tip screen...... I mean seriously why do you feel entitled to get a tip i thought that was crazy And then the lady is more or less just staring at me while I did it so I really felt obligated to top her so I did The first and last time I will ever go here no if and or buts about that one

One of the older Asian women was extremely rude to my friend because he didn't know English. Kept shaking her head at us because she couldn't understand even though i was translating. Donuts and croissants were good. Customer service was lacking a bit. Nothing to make me want to visit again.
