Came here for lunch today with the family. Upon entering you kind of expect someone to be at the front to seat you, but we soon found out that it's a seat yourself type of place. Once seated it didn't take to long for our waitress to arrive and take our drink orders. We ordered the frozen Mango margarita and the Loganberry blended margarita's. Maybe it's because I've never tried a Loganberry before, but it didn't have much of a flavor besides being sour, but my husband said his Mango margarita was good. We ended up ordering the 20 bone in wings and the large garlic parmesan fries. You get to order 5 wings per sauce so we tried the lemon pepper, hot honey and the rest hot. Everything came out fast and hot. Wings were fried crispy just like we like them. Our waitress was very attentive, coming by frequently to make sure all was ok. While eating they have many tv screens that were all showing different NFL games that were going on this Sunday. A few NFL fans were here today wearing their teams jerseys, so I'm guessing this is the place that they hang out at on game day's? Food was great, drinks ok, service excellent. Will definitely come back.

Pretty cool to get to go to a place that you can get a Labat and outside of this single, very random location, is only in Upstate New York. It sure tastes like it. You get a nice double crisp on the wings, they have a good amount of flavor and the chicken is never oily or 'off' and they were a really solid size. The fries are a surprising standout. Really consistent across the board. Only thing was their rankings of spices. This might just be a me and my wife thing, but the medium were really tame and the hot were pretty mild. Going off of their suggestions, I'd go a level higher than what they're saying is 'hot'. Again, totally could be an us thing, but I'll amp up the heat next time. The service was really fast, even with being a NFL Playoff Sunday. I'll for sure be back, best wings I've had in Texas so far by a wide margin.

Great causal spot to watch some games and eat some wings!Fried pickle and jalapeños were a must! Pricing on the wings are also affordable. Free celery and carrots on the side. Our waitress let us take the rest home. The service is 11/10, not once did I need to ask for water.

This was our first time at Duff's although we have lived here since they opened. We were pleasantly surprised at the menu. It's much more than just wings. I got the hamburger sliders and my husband got the buffalo chicken sliders. We dusted with fried pickles which were some of the best I've ever had. The coating was light but crispy and delicious. We finished the whole basket which was a generous amount. My sliders were perfect and my husband liked his chicken sliders. He said they weren't too spicy and the chicken was hot and juicy. The restaurant was very cold and many patrons including us ate with their coats on which was the only drawback. We will certainly return.

This place is great. The poutine is one of the best I've had outside of Canada and the wings are authentic buffalo

What's not to like about Duff's other than the fact that I have to drive to Texas! But . . . it is well worth the drive! It's a great feeling to walk in and you feel like it is almost home! The Beef on Weck just can't be beat! The wings are pretty awesome as well!Took my step son and his future wife to have them try authentic wings. They fell in love with this place!Whenever I need a change of pace I figure out a reason to drive to Texas! Nothing his home like Duff's!!!

I've driven past Duff's for years and finally decided to give them a try. Duff's is an outpost of a regional chain from upstate New York and while they feature wings on the sign, the menu is broader than that.AMBIENCE - 4 out of 5Duff's has a sports-bar vibe, evidenced by the many flat-screens around the dinning room showing ESPN and other sports channels. Booths line two walls, with tables in the center. The two times I've been there for lunch, it was a "seat yourself" arrangement. I came a little after the standard lunch hour rush and had no trouble finding a seat.SERVICE - 5 out of 5The server I had both times was friendly and diligent, checking on me several times and refilling my ice tea as needed. One recommendation - Duff's really needs to offer larger and sturdier napkins because chances are your meal will get messy (think wings).FOOD - 2 out of 5The menu is a step above basic bar food - wings, burgers, salads, and sandwiches. There is one item you're not likely to find elsewhere, which is unique to upstate New York - the Roast Beef on Weck (sliced roast beef on a NY Costanza kimmelweck roll). On my first visit I ordered the breaded chicken sandwich. It was okay but very thin, like it had been pounded. So the sandwich really lacked chicken flavor and the density of a thicker cut. It was just average, not terrible (OK, everyone gets something wrong every so often). Instead of fries as a side, I opted for cole slaw. This came in a large serving and was actually quite good.About a month later, I decided to give Duff's a second visit before writing a review. On my second visit, I noticed the Chicken Sandwich wasn't on the menu. (Did I miss it? Was it seasonal?) Instead, I ordered the Philly CheeseSteak sandwich and fries. Usually Philly sandwiches are messy, but this one was quite messy - a combination of the grease of the beef, the roasted onions and melted cheese. This was not something you could pick up at first so I ate part of it like an open-face sandwich (with a fork) before folding the bread together to eat as a sandwich. Even cut in half, it was still messy, and by then, the bread was falling apart after being soaked by the grease. Not a great experience. The fries were okay, but tended to cool down very quickly.BOTTOM-LINE - 3 out of 5After two visits, I'd say Duff's is an OK place, but the food - for me anyway - didn't live up to its "famous" title. I know a lot of people love this place and that's fine. I'm glad Duff's is in Southlake and offers something besides Tex-Mex. But, respectfully, I'd suggest that Duff's continue to work on their menu and improve the quality of their items so that it matches their service and whole vibe.
