Was in town for the weekend and we stopped by. Greeted very nicely, at the time there was no wait. Nice clean atmosphere. Restrooms also nice and clean. Our waiter Tania was very nice and patient with all our needs. Food was very good and very large portions. We had several 2 eggs breakfast with pancakes , French toast and crepes. Also had a skillet and it was a large portion.Great prices! Highly recommend and definitely will be back.

Overpriced - many things $1 - $2 more than other places of similar level. $4 for one piece of toast!!!???Staff eating in kitchen. Was empty. Oil used for hash browns was old and made them inedible. Best pancakes in town - big, thin and almost crispy. Good: No tax in tip calculation.

First, we felt welcomed, and the service was on point. Waiter had a pleasant conversation and she was attentive. Vanilla latte was delicious it was a little darker than I usually get when I order vanilla latte but non the less delicious. I had the roasted mushroom omelette (added chicken sausage on the side), crispy hash browns and pecan pancakes. I know that sounds like a lot of food and can I tell you it was large portions too !! omg it was A LOT!! Omelette flufffy right amount of veggies to cheese ratio. Chicken sausage was not the sweet kind (which i don't like for breakfast) it was good and seasoned. Ok, now let's talk about these pecans on the pancakes!!! I was pleasantly surprised it was candied pecans - I felt like i needed to put myself in a corner and eat them by themselves( no one speak to me )!! My husband had the Florentine omelette with bacon and granola pancakes. My husband likes granola in the batter but this one came with it only on top. The flavor of the pancakes were tasty. The texture was different maybe a little more dense, not cake like, not a knock but just explaining my experience. The ambiance was inviting and the cute wall for those picture taking people and also the wall with paint design or wallpaper definitely caught my eye. The bathroom was cute too !! I definitely will be coming back.

Absolutely amazing! I opened up my DoorDash this morning to order some breakfast. Right away I noticed Double Yolk Cafe and had to try it. Everything on the menu looked and sounded delicious. My husband went for the hangover. I picked the veggie skillet. We ordered kids chicken tenders and fries for my pup. I kid you not the food showed up to my doorstep within 10-15 minutes. I was so shocked! The order was delivered perfectly. They provided all the condiments and utensils. I'm still in shock. I've never had a DoorDash deliver that fast and without any mistakes. The portions are ginormous! The chicken tenders were really good. My pup ate them up. They were on sweet side which was different and I loved it. The hangover is packed with meats and flavor. The veggie skillet was just perfect for me. We will def have to stop by in person.

I've been hearing about this place on Instagram so decided to do a family brunch. They do t take reservations but the wait wasn't long. We were seated shortly after we arrived. The restaurant itself is a decent size. Not too small with tables and booths. We were seated at a big table booth to accommodate the booster seat baby. We started off with mimosas while we went over the menu. There was a lot to choose from. I'm a sweets person so when I saw the cinnamon roll pancakes I had to try it. It was really good. Filling and just the right amount of sweetness.

Really great local brunch spot! Been here many times and can vouch for their skillet! Be try generous portion with great flavor! I'm a vegetarian and I can get any of the skillets without the meat. We also enjoyed the mimosa flight (organic orange and fruit punch were really great)!

The food was delicious. I got the country fried steak, that thing is huge and I couldn't finish it, it came with eggs, and fruit (or hash browns) and toast (or pancakes). My husband got the carnivore skillet, came with eggs and pancakes (or toast). Everything was great. The interior decor is very cute and chic. There's a bar and a coffee bar which we didn't take advantage of but will next time. Our server was very attentive and polite. Definitely recommend.

Where great ambience meets average food. Went to this location this past week. When walking in I was amazed by the décor. One of the best decorated restaurants in the area. Wasn't very busy and our group of 3 was seated quickly. One thing I didn't like was when the server came to take our order they were finishing a bite of their food. Not a deal breaker but if you walk up to the table eating, then you didn't wash your hands, and how can I expect you to handle my food the rest the way. Ordered 3 entrees, and nothing about the food stood out. First the country benedict was very plain. The gravy was bland. Next my husband order the California Omelet. He was the most disappointed in our group. His omelet was flat, no volume, and the flavor wasn't very good either. He asked me to taste it because he thought something was off. My thought were the basil/herb was over powering. I get that is an ingredient but easy on the basil. Lastly, our son ordered the berry crepes. While the crepes were perfectly thin and light. The sauces were doused on top. The sauces were too sweet and that is more of product of quantity. In my opinion the plate looked beautiful but less is more when it comes to the sauce. Probably would give it another try but there plenty of other restaurants in the area I enjoy more. Still a fairly new restaurant so maybe work on training staff not to eat at the table and balanced dishes.

I had a terrible second visit to Double Yolk Cafe. The main issue was that Double Yolk was unable to make pancakes correctly for us, and we tried three times. The first time the pancakes were overcooked. The second two times they had raw batter inside. Pancakes should be a staple of any breakfast place like Double Yolk so this was very discouraging. To add to the issue, I ordered these pancakes to give to my toddler son who is allergic to raw eggs but not cooked eggs. This means if he eats raw pancake batter, it could be dangerous for him, but cooked pancakes are okay. If I had given him the pancakes without checking for raw batter, he could have had an allergic reaction. We informed the manager about the issue and fortunately she was receptive to hearing these issues and comped our meal. After receiving our third batch of inedible pancakes, we left without finishing our meal as it was a waste of time for us.The other issue was that I ordered the "DY Bites" for breakfast, one of their specials described as "english muffin halves topped with" eggs and breakfast meat of your choice. I thought this would be an open faced sandwich similar to eggs benedict but a little different, perhaps with some sauce. What I got was two english muffin breakfast sandwiches with no sauce. It was dry and unappetizing. I was surprised they consider this one of their "specials" and the description was misleading. If it's a breakfast sandwich, call it an english muffin breakfast sandwich. I hope they take this off the menu honestly or downsize it to one sandwich along with the price. I also noticed that on my first visit they included a carafe of coffee on the table, on my second visit they did not so it was disappointing to see the downgrade in service.

Before I even saw the menu, I knew the restaurant cared about its ingredients. How? While other restaurants provide jam & jelly in which the first ingredient is high fructose corn syrup, they sell the ones in which the fruit is the first ingredient. Of course, that would be reflected in its prices. The coffee is served with a carafe, so I did not have to wait to get a refill. I only have known one other small chain to do the same. I ordered Southwest omelet. Although it comes with flour tortillas, I still opted for the sourdough toast so I can eat something with the jam. When the waitress asked if I wanted hash browns, grits or waffle fries, I should have checked the menu. Unlike the specialty pancakes and egg whites add ons, the waffle fries were not listed on the menu along with them. The omelet took up half the plate and the other half the waffle fries. I knew the waffle fries were seasoned, but I missed the part they were seasoned with something sweet. It was not until I saw the receipt did I realize they were maple waffle fries. The omelette was thick and did not lack of cheese. I could only finish half of it. Fortunately, the toast was served dry because I forgot to ask for it that way.The restaurant has a weird ambience. Throughout my meal, the restaurant was playing club music. Fortunately, it was not a distraction and easily ignored.
