Don's Seafood

This place is a staple in Fort Worth. The food is always made to order and is delicious. The people who work there own the restaurant. I usually order to go, never eaten inside.

Ordered 15 fried oysters and 6 catfish. Catfish weren't terrIble, but what made me leave this 1-Star review was the fact that the oysters came way, way, way undercooked. I literally found clumps of raw flour in the breading after biting into them, and this was every single oyster. Definitely will not re-order.

This used to be a great spot for fried catfish but I guess I caught them on a bad day because I got old fish with a heavy crispy batter. There nuggets are good though, the kids love em.

Best fried chicken and catfish is also very good with the fries. Good seafood fast food!

Nice little fish shack in the hood. They serve fish, hamburgers, chicken and most importantly snow cones. Nothing says southern fish like a gigantic tub of hot sauce on the counter.

For what it's worth getting there, the food was pretty good. I took notice of a prior reviewer's tip and tried the catfish, especially since I love catfish and haven't had any in a while. It was very good and well cooked. It seems like a place that's more 'stop while you're going', if you will. So I'm reviewing based off the 'quick breather' aspect. I don't see it as a place that you'd want to go if you're actually planning on fine dining, and I certainly wouldn't suggested it for a date.I thought the tea could be a little colder, but it was refreshing after a long day. I'm pretty middle ground on this. It's a good place if you just want to stop after a long day of driving or work and you just need a break for a few minutes. I would probably still be swayed to Long John SIlvers if there was one in that area.

Love this place... been coming here since i was a teenager and its always been the same! This spot never disappoints. The portions are worth the money as well.

Raw Fish. Ate there before usually always good. Ordered 5 fish and whole fish got home each piece was raw. My wife and I Called and all I got was silence not told sorry will will replace. After i said more they said they would replace. Went back after a few days and was treated like I was trying to get free fish. The kid that takes orders just handed me the food I showed him the picture of the raw fish that grossed everybody else out and he just stared at it. His dad the owner was saying Im gonna cook the fish crispy. I said just cook it how you usually do. Still no apology. I use to tell people how good this place WAS now I will never go back and hope people see this. Really upsetting that they think I was trying to get free fish after going there for years. I didnt think they food was safe because of the way they acted so I left it on the parking lot.

I order from here quite often. They have the best fried oysters in the area! The large fried shrimp is ok--I think it's prepackaged/pre-breaded, but the portion sizes are large. The shrimp po'boy uses the tiny shrimp, which I'm not personally found of. All things considered, it's an awesome restaurant with friendly service, reasonable prices, & good food.When I drove through & ordered last week, I could see the person behind the counter as I drove up, and he was already wearing his mask, even with no one in line & no one in the restaurant. That made me feel extremely safe.

Who hooo! Fried shrimp and oysters at Don's Seafood. Next to Zekes, this is one of the best fried fish and chips dives in the DFW area. Been too long since we've been here.
