Don Taco

I live just behind this place. When I travel out of state, this is the first place I want to eat when I come home. Its legit. Everything is good, fairly priced and service is top notch. My puppy loves the outdoor patio.

Basic Tex-Mex food, I'm from California so we have good Mexican food in LA, I wouldn't recommend this place in LA. so many better places than this place.

this place is more like a 3.5 out of 5 stars. Been here twice and got the below items:sour cream chicken enchiladasverdes chicken enchiladasCombo Nachosal pastor burritobrisket taco (choice of corn or flour)I really enjoyed the enchiladas, and out of the two, the sour cream one was the better of the two. if you get a plate, it'll come with rice and beans. The burrito was decently sized and the nachos were ok, i wish they used more cheese to cover more of the chips. We also got a michelada and i'm not sure what base they use (in house or calmato), but it was really good. They also have liquor, so you can get mixed drinks or shots here. This store is located in a plaza right at the corner, near the riverside drive street.

Do not go for the Shrimp cocktail if you are looking for traditional Mexican Coctel de Camarones. Their rendition was the WORST I've ever experienced. The sauce tasted like it was made mostly of ketchup and so sweet that there wasn't even a hint of spicy like it should've been. I had to add a ton of Tapatio for any spice and it was still overwhelmingly sweet. The shrimp texture felt like these were entirely undercooked or thrown in raw with the expectation that it'd be "cooked" like in a ceviche. I'm giving two stars only because their other dishes are better. This one needs a new recipe or to be removed entirely.

My husband and I go there all the time. We like the menu options, the food, the service, the atmosphere, and the prices.

Love the food and customer service. We've been going back regularly for the street tacos and quesadillas!

Hands down the best authentic Mexican food in town. Friendly staff, quick service, and quality food.

I was welcomed & greeted very politely. I had the menudo, it was the best I ever had. The service was pretty fast. I love the fact the workers will come & ask if I needed anything.

fair price for portion size, very quick service, and friendly staff. definitely one of my go to stop after a workout (they have some macro friendly options too!!!)
