Don Chiquito's Mexican Restaurant

This place was good! I had The chicharrón con queso pupusas and plátanos fritos. My husband had a torta de milanesa. Good food value and friendly service.

The restaurant has a hole-in-the-wall vibe, which is fine. They sell costume jewelry and hemp oil out of a jewelry counter display/register area that's also filled with energy drinks. The service could use improvement. Our order was wrong. The food was actually really good. If rating on food taste alone, I would give 5 stars.

We tried this place out today. It's not far from the house. The server was attentive and the place was nice and clean. The food was delicious. The chips were freshly made and the salsa was excellent. I got the enchiladas suizas and my man got the burrito. It was a lot of food! And everything was tasty! It took a while to get it to the table, but that was because it was freshly made. The young man said that they have only been open about five months. I wanted to be sure word gets out about this place!

CONCLUSION: 4.8 for excellent food, kind servers, and great value. Best place in Denton for mixed Latin cuisine and amazing pupusas.PROS: amazing food with large selection of dishes you won't find on the typical Mexican restaurant menu. Enchiladas suizas have a little bite to them and are filled with moist chicken. This place was great! We stopped by on a whim yesterday and I'm still thinking about the food we ate. The place looked a little unassuming, but everything was delicious. There were four of us and save for one, we all ordered two plates. The star of the show for me was the Torta Cubana. It has ham, a milanesa, sausage, avocado, lettuce, jalapeños, and tomatoes (which I did not get because I'm not a fan of tomatoes lol). It was delightful. Not too spicy but it still had a kick. I also ordered a fish taco which was BOMB!!! The service was excellent as well and though we waited a bit for our food, I consider everything well worth the wait. If we're ever in Denton again I'll definitely stop by. Check this place out!

I've only been here for breakfast, but Don Chiquito's has the BEST huevos rancheros in Denton by far. The eggs are cooked perfectly, the ranchero sauce is amazing, and the homemade tortillas are great as well.

The food was very good! A take out order of chicken enchiladas (Chicken Suizas) and Pupusas De Chicken. This was my first time having a Pupusas and It was good. Both were favorable and delicious. The restaurant individuals were welcoming and friendly

First time there, will be back. Mole Plate, Guacamole with warm chips, Fajitas de Res, nice service, delicious and reasonable!!!! We were so surprised, looks little bitty when you pull up, well, nothing little bitty about that Menu!

The food is amazing!! Everything is fresh and full of flavor! Highly recommend if your in the area check them out. The place is small and seems a little lonely but don't be fooled the food is made to order and yummy....once this place becomes popular there won't be a place to sit.
