No nonsense deli that is the best of the best. They frequently have long lines, but the employee keep it moving fast and efficiently. If you want to get a better sub you will gave to go to New York. They also have ice cream and you can get any sub made as a salad. Order at the counter.

Still terrible.I've eaten subs in Arlington since the early 70's when Galligaskins and Jo-ed's were the only sub shops in town. Dino's came around about a decade later, but I was out of college, had lived in Europe a couple of years, and was married by then. I'm pretty sure I never tried Dino's until about 10 years ago. I got a hot sub then that did not impress me at all. I decided after a decade that I should perhaps give them a second chance, plus I wasn't feeling well today and didn't want to cook. So I opted for a hot pastrami on wheat. My wife was heading back from visiting a grand daughter and had to pass right by, so it was convenient. Plus, we live maybe half a mile away. That's key because I do like my hot food hot. Except it didn't even travel the half mile and stay warm. For hot sandwiches, they microwave the meat. Microwave. That's blasphemy in a kitchen. And I have no idea where the soggy bread came from. Maybe Jersey style is similar to Chicago style, but I'm Texas style and soggy bread is something I don't tolerate even in soup, much less a sandwich. Like I say, I'm not even sure what made the bread soggy, but it barely held together. And the meat, oh my. I've had NYC deli sandwiches in the early 90's. I know how amazingly tender and delicious pastrami can and should be. It's brined. It's smoked. It might be steamed to heat, but never microwaved. What I had was tough and fatty like a bad piece of bacon. Arby's beats this hands down. So Dino's, you've had your two chances about a decade apart for fairness. Your website says you can't answer the phone when you're busy. I promise never to contribute to the congestion at your order counter again.

Big D and #8 was good. Broccoli Cheese soup was too thin. Need to know what you want when you get to the counter almost as good as the Italian sandwich at Home Slice in Austin Dino's is worth trying.

I always pass by here and never get to try it, but today was the day I decided to give it a try! I've heard so much about this place and it's also been here for soooo long! We got the number 10 on wheat and half the sub and a number 20 on wheat only half the sub. I'm always nervous going into new places and ordering cause I don't know how the flow is, but everyone was nice inside and there were signs to lead you where to go. The workers were also pretty friendly too so I'm sure If you were to ask them or looked confused they would have helped you out. Anyways the number 10 was pretty good, it has baked ham, Canadian bacon, turkey and cheese I also got it with the works (the toppings). I really thought that the sandwich had a good amount of meat and filling. The number 20 which was a meatball sub but without cheese (cheese was extra) was decent. I wish it did come with cheese without extra charge but it is what it is. Overall I'm glad I got to try this place out and I will most definitely be back when I'm wanting a good sub sandwich!

Dino's has a lot of good options and this was my first experience. I tried the blackjack with no mushrooms and the cream cheese on the sandwich is a game changer to say the least! This has inspired me to add cream cheese to my sandwiches at home. The ordering process was slow and could use some improvement but overall worth the wait.

Dino's is by far my favorite sandwich shop in Arlington! It's been a while since I've been here now that I live in Fort Worth. This is my first trip in 2024. I had to get my "go to" sandwich! The Big D Number 11 ! #11 happens to be my favorite number I was born on January 11 at 11pm! I will make weekly or bi-weekly trips for now on ..

Great local sub shop! Stopped by before an appt around 11:30am and got in right before the rush. Took notes from other reviews and was ready with my order, lol. Ordered the #8 works with banana peppers and giardiniera. Overall, a solid sub. Everything was fresh. Only downside was that peppers didn't deliver spice I was looking for. Would try it out again if in the area.

Still a top notch sandwich shop. And now that Fork In The Road is no longer.. it's the best sandwich shop in Arlington. This place really has a neighborhood vibe with lots of regulars. Customer service is very consistent and friendly. There's also freshly scooped ice cream available. Parking: Surburbia plentiful
