TOP TIER BBQ! Highlights: the best banana pudding ever and great meats. The Meats: The pulled pork has a perfectly seasoned rub that allows you to taste the spice and the smoke. Complete with a superior fat to meat ratio, this BBQ is perfectly juicy and bursting with flavor. The brisket bologna was so good. Sides: Mac and cheese is creamy with perfectly crunchy bread crumbs that add a very nice texture. Sauces: The red sauce is a go to for the pulled pork with a nice mild, somewhat sweet flavor. The mustard based sauce had a beautifully complex flavor that is like a Carolina mustard BBQ shaking hands with a German mustard. Dessert: the bourbon banana pudding was the best banana pudding I've ever had. It's a salted caramel drizzle on top with some butterscotch morsels in the middle and thick, creamy pudding on a base layer of Nila wafers. Service: super quick, very friendly cashier, and clean restaurant with outdoor seating. Very worth the drive from Fort Worth or Dallas.

Dayne's was our 100th 'cue stop in Texas, and the 400th nationwide. It is one of the current Texas Monthly Magazine top 50, but we would rank it in the top 30. BBQ fanatics should consider this a must stop.We started with the Texas Trinity, with turkey as a fourth offering. We piled on the sides-- frito beans, apple slaw, mac 'n cheese and street corn. And somehow, we saved room for banana bourbon pudding. The whole, including tip, came to $82.80. (service was really friendly). The buttery smooth fatty brisket featured a classic central Texas rub that yielded good bark and a great pink ring. The jalapeno havarti sausage was tilted strongly to the peppery side, which is just the way we like it, while the turkey proved moist, with a buttery texture. In turn the ribs were beautifully done, separating cleanly at the bite but with an understated rub that allowed the flavor of the meat to shine through. The slaw, street corn and frito beans made for terrific sides, but the mac 'n cheese lacked that special something that would put it over the top. As for the banana bourbon pudding ... it could have used more bourbon!

Had a chance to visit this establishment on a Sunday afternoon after church. There was a line and we waited for probably 15 minutes outside and weaved our way inside. The food was great, and there are seating inside and outside. I will have to say that I really enjoyed the mac and cheese, oh the mac and cheese. Highly recommend it. There's even a bar, separated from the the registers up front, So if you're into getting a beer or some liquor, there's a place for that. Unfortunately on Sundays they didn't have the brisket sandwich, which is a local favorite, so we will definitely have to be back on another day to sample that delicacy Would I recommend this place? Absolutely, without a doubt. There's plenty of parking outside. You might have to walk a little bit, but don't be discouraged. You see a line, coming out the door, it is common and they try to move the line pretty quickly. Quickly. The only challenge you might have is finding a table. But don't be discouraged, patrons move in and out of there quickly. The cool thing is that if you want to take some of it home they do have a frozen versions of their food up front, so that way you could take it back with you. Looking forward to going back

Was in Aldeo for business and my buddy wanted to grad some barbecue for lunch and said he knew of a place. Food was spot on and the meats were tender and juicy. My fave was the turkey breast and jalapeño sausage link. And the Mac n Cheese was spot on. The waitstaff makes you feel welcome and they are very friendly. They take the time to ask if you are a first timer and if so they will explain the lay of the land so you know where everything is at to enjoy your meal. This place has that good ole local vibe which sets the perfect vibe while enjoying your meal.

Our fun bbq trail commences! This spot made Texas Monthly BBQ so had to check them out before the masses came out. Our crew of 9 got there an hour and half before open, and we were the only ones there. So no need to get there early, seemed like the crowd showed up about 20 minutes before open FYI. We loved the grassy, open area so the kiddos can run around, and lots of shaded area when the sun came out. So being the first ones there, we ended up being around 10th in line because everybody parked and went straight for that door. No qualms at all, line went quickly! Do know if you're going to dine in, seated is extremely limited, I'm talking 6 tables indoors. There is minimal patio seating as well. Plenty of space on the grass and can do picnic style!!Okay onto the meats!! Brisket was juicy and tender, the ribs were top notch, the bologna was just...everything. I'm a beef rib lady so always gotta try one, and I've yet to meet one that wasn't worth the price. It was perfect!! My friends enjoyed the Turkey and my son loved the OG burger. It was smashed and greasy with all the crispy bits. The sides are what definitely sets the place apart. The eloté corn is fire, apple coleslaw is refreshing, but everybody raved over the frito pies. I only got a small bite before it was demolished!! This place is definitely a gem with decent prices and amazing 'cue!!

Look I'm not going to say anything that hasn't been said a million times. This place is phenomenal food. Walked in on a Saturday and the place was packed. Even with all the people there we managed to get service quickly with a smile and had a very little wait on the food. We still managed to get a nice down home feel to the place. The brisket is hands down the best brisket in the DFW area. It had great pull and amazing flavor. The ribs were incredibly good too and meat almost fell off the bone. The Apple Slaw and the Mac and Cheese were so good and made a great balance of the meat. The OG Burger was a good burger for a smash burger (I'm not a fan of smash burgers but objectively this was good). The dessert was a banana pudding and pretty much a chocolate pudding also. Both were solid.

This was my first trip to Aledo since they moved out of Fort Worth! I picked the perfect day and time. It was Wednesday around 1:30! I ordered as soon as I walked in and got prepared for my meal! I ordered the OG Burger, probably the best in DFW !! Top 3 for sure! I got the Bean Frito Pie for a side . The burger was juicy and delicious and I finished all of the beans as well. I washed it down with a Topo-Chico but they have plenty of other beverage options including beer and cocktails! They also now serve breakfast which is awesome including in-house bacon Get to Dayne's ASAP

Had a chance to go back yesterday, Sunday for lunch after my initial visit. So, two new things to add to the must try menu. The brisket chili is outstanding. Needless to say it's made with brisket. It's very good, rich and spicy, but not over the top. Garnished beautifully. Suggestion, get a side of the refried beans to go with it. The other item that I tried for the first time yesterday was the Smashburger. They make several variations so make sure you get the one you want. Pro tip get a side of chili and make a chili burger. We also did the Trinity platter and everything was outstanding. I love their beef rib so I got a small one yesterday to snack on. As usual, it was stellar. This place is a must try if you're anywhere near Aledo. I'm an hour away and it's well worth the drive. The best part you don't have to stand in line like you do at some of these joints.
