Daq and Mag Daiquiris

I pass by this place all the time and my husband told me their food is so good. Well needless to say, I went today and the oxtails were sooooo freaking good. I also go some egg rolls with the special sauce and the beef tips! The portions are a nice size too. The service was amazing too.

The oxtails and mac and cheese from Daq and Mag are absolutely phenomenal! The oxtails were tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, falling off the bone with every bite. The mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy, and had just the right amount of seasoning--comfort food at its finest.The portion sizes were generous, and the flavors were out of this world. You can tell they put love and care into every dish. Highly recommend if you're looking for a meal that hits the spot!

As a first timer that guy taking my order was very patient. The atmosphere was cool. The food was bomb I think that's the best catfish I've ever had.

Me and the fam came here on a Sunday after watching the universoul circus down the street! Hubby loves catfish so I knew this would be a good soul food spot. It's a smaller venue and not too many seats. The menu is on the smaller side, we wanted oxtails and fried catfish. When we went to order we were told that they were out of oxtails and whole fried fish, hubby was disappointed and wanted to leave lowkey, but we still stayed. I got the catfish and he got fish and shrimp with a side of mac and cheese, everything was good except for the mac and cheese that could've used some more love lol, it was bland af. Overall the food was bomb tho. If I'm ever in the area I'll be back!

This is a food review, only. 4 Stars. All the food here is GREAT. The fried foods are a solid 5 Stars. The sides and other dishes are very good, but noticeably a tad salty, some days. The mac n cheese is pictured as elbow pasta but served as mostaccioli pasta - which is okay... just unexpected.The drinks are your business, not mine. Alcoholic beverages don't require Yelp reviews from me.All that said, I am a regular, and you should be too!

I wish I could give them 20 stars...I found this place via google and stopped in. The customer service was top notch, amazing and a breath of fresh air. Many restaurants serving similar staples often have the WORST customer service and sub par food. This establishment is ocd spotless & the prices are market. The food is incredible and someone in that kitchen knows what the heck they are doing. You can tell they use quality ingredients. You can tell the food & ingredient's are fresh. Drum roll....And they have REAL catfish unlike other places who advertise real when in facts its swai or tilapia. I hope they expand and open more places. Hands down 1 of the best soul food places in dfw. Reviews do no justice describing how good the food is here. Highly recommended

Every time I come to South Dallas stopping here is a must! I personally feel they have some of the best daq! I'm not originally from Texas and clearly I haven't not been to every spot but ow far they are my number 1

I stopped in for an early dinner after reading good reviews about this place. I ordered the whole catfish. It comes with fries, bread, and jalapeños. I was not disappointed! The fish was fried to perfection. It was crispy, served piping hot, and seasoned to the gods! The size of the catfish was on the smaller side but for the price of the plates I really cannot complain. The fries are delicious! although they are your typical seasoned fries. I got a daiquiri too, it was STRONG so be careful with those bad boys! Enjoy!

I like this spot. Good Daqs and friendly service! I heard the food was good too but just went thru the drive thru on the way to a party. I'll definitely be back for more and try their food

Food is good the service well, they forgot about me, but they definitely made up for it keep up the good work and glad to have some real soul Food in the neighborhood You have a customer in me
