Staff were nice and friendly. The chitterlings were divine. They were cooked to perfection. They reminded me of the times my dad used to clean and cook them. I would definitely recommend this spot for some delicious to go soul food. The portions are very filling.

The Best Soul Food in DFW. Everything was delicious. Lady D is very personable and was a pleasure to meet. Definitely my go to spot from now on. Definitely go and give it a try!! You will not be disappointed.

Pros: The food was served quickly and customer service was good. Cons: It's only to go and you can't preview the food how you typically wood at any other soul food restaurant on the serving line. Overall opinion: The food was very average. Chicken and dressing passable. Beans no seasoning. Mac and cheese tasted like non diluted velveta block cheese.

This has to be the NASTIEST FOOD I have ever eaten in my LIFE. I ordered food from DoorDash omg this was so gross. We ordered the smothered pork chops and fried catfish. When I tell you the French Fries were not even seasoned. Sweet baby Jesus from who all blessings flow.... This SH!t was nasty. I mean every bone in my body is upset! Like how is the catfish gummy! Idk if the cook was busy watching the Cowboys game but this business needs to not cook or advertise another thing! They need to close down and start over! But before they close down to start over THROW away all recipes that claim to be someone's grandmothers away. Don't even do it! I mean pissed off! The koolaid wasn't even kool-aiding. For those who know koolaid... it's like they had just a cup of koolaid left and then they said "imma add water to make more" and then add sugar. Omg bro I cannot believe this business is businessing. Please please do us customers and yourself a favor. STOP!!!!

D'Ventures is always good! I only get the Chicken Fried Chicken but they never disappoint. If you eat Chitterlings, they have them and from what I've heard, always sell out. The inside has been closed since Covid so you will have to wait outside or in your car until your food is ready. With this Texas heat , I'd suggest calling your order in. Enjoy!!!

I have been searching all around Dallas for chitterlings both cooked and uncooked. Grocery stores not reallyProviding them and the ones that are , are doing so a high price. It's fall and thanksgiving is right around the corner and I know chitterlings are a common food forThis season for minorities. I called over 10 different soul Food restaurants. Looking for cooked southern style chitterlings. Out of all 10 restaurants I called only one was serving them, and they were selling out fast and I assume because other restaurants weren't serving them but more so because their chitterlings are so freaking good . I was discouraged the few times that I called all in separate days, because each call the person answering was rude and impatient. One of the calls I made I was told that the chitterlings would be available in 2 hours and she hung up. The the last time I called , and inquired asking if they still had any chitterlings available, the lady kept yelling come to the store .And I'm like well do y'all have them or not and she just kept repeating come to the store and hung up .I became a little frustrated because I don't live real close to this restaurant, and i would hate to drive over there to learn something that could have been said over the phone with a simple yes or no.When I arrived to the location, the parking lot was full with cars. And there were a few people standing at the door picking up or placing orders. It's kind of confusing, because I was told that they weren't dine in and just did Togo's only , and I had to ring the locked door to be serviced . However, I watched as a number of people walked out the establishment at different times with containers filled with food. So are they Togo only or just Togo only after a certain time or what ? Anyways, older lady comes to the door, I'm assuming she was probably the same person who was answering the phone because she was just as crappy and impatient as the person on the phone . I ordered the chitterlings plate that came with your choice of 2 veggie sides and two corn bread muffins and i ordered a side order of the candied yams. It was a little on the pricey side ,Coming out to around $36 for 1 plate .'I was so happy that the food cameOut quickly, because the porch /waiting area was infested with bumblebees. Myself and two other people waited together, one mentioned how she was extremely allergic to bees and told me in the event that she got stung that she had an EpiPen in her car. I was terrified for her. But I guess the chitterlings/food is that good that she was willing to get stung while waiting for her order.I got my food and went home immediately so that i could eat it while it was still hot! Chitterlings were a 10/10, nicely flavored, decent portion, cooked to the right texture and the odor wasn't so heavy. Collard greens were good as well I'd give a 6/10. Flavor was on point but they looked like cream spinach and weren't cut up enough. Just a whole bunch of full leafs. Candied Yams were really good 10/10. They were sweet but not overwhelmingly sweet, and they had a good consistency to them.Now the Mac and cheese and cornbread muffins were a complete disaster equally and separately. Mac and cheese was runny, had no flavor including no cheese taste and the noodles weren't fully cooked.Cornbread muffins were also tasteless, kind of reminded me of eating fufu. They had a nice texture and they were pretty looking but nasty. I gave 3 stars simply because of the chitterlings and candied yams were fantastic . I'd likely return here just for those 2 items alone . However, service is horrible and other foods areRushed or just poorly made. So I'll keep my search going to find both cooked and uncooked chitterlings else where, and in the event that I am unlucky. Then I will return here.

They lie on the about pricing food is good but like everyone else you get less and less period

Weirdest Restaurant I've ever be at in my life. The young guy taking my order had no courtesy at all, very dry, definitely unpleasant. Find another person to take orders. So you aren't allowed in the restaurant they take your order and bring it to your car! Wtf. Douglas didn't bring my complete order luckily I checked cause, missing my sides, eating utensils and the Douglas acted like he didn't want to get none of it!!! Never returning to this dump! Would be a ZERO but I need to try the food. Ambiance is a ZERO!!

Everything was great , I ordered door dash , only thing I didn't like was the "catfish" is actually swai, but it was still seasoned great, just should have said that.

I drove from Frisco 40 minutes to order some chitterlings and a dinner. The young guy at the door says your total is $23 cash for the chitterlings and $15 for the dinner. I said I only have a card, may I speak to the owner? So both ladies I guess is the owner and the short lady says .,, " I have to take cash after an $800.00 order of chitterlings went bad... she further directs me to the ATM at the gas station up the street. So I left empty handed and I will NOT ever go back. Obviously they don't need my business. I would have accepted okay we will take your card this time but next time will you bring cash. $23.00 is small compared to $800.00... If that is your practice then give your customers time to adjust.
