CS Cajun Seafood House

Talk about a hole in the wall kind of place! This place maybe small, but this place has so much potential! The service was great and the young lady at the counter was friendly and share her recommendations on the menu. We decided to have the snow crab combo with a pound of shrimp with their mixed flavors which is the Cajun and we decided on the medium spice. We will most likely go spicy next time. We also decided to try out their wings and their fried catfish. I was very surprised how great the food was especially for the price! We are probably going to go back tomorrow which is only one week from the first time we tried it. That currently says something!

We pulled up to the restaurant thinking the place was empty. We walked in and it looked nice and clean there were people there enjoying there food. We will definitely come back.

Just tried the place tonight to go ... this is pic of the fried catfish and shrimp along with gumbo. If you've ever been further south or even north to a real Cajun restaurant then you'd know this was an Asian setup... the food was food no Cajun seasoning at all. The soup with uncooked okra and couple slices of out of the wrapper sausage and salad shrimp was awful. I remember a time when gumbo had a rue and flavor . There won't be a second visit

I can only speak for the fried catfish and fried oysters, fried shrimp. All of it is frozen. Nothing fresh about it as is claimed on the website. The fried catfish was OK but when I bit into the oyster that was the weirdest taste ever. I didn't realize there was such thing as breaded frozen oysters, but they're sure is. And they are terrible! Everything I ate, came straight from the grocery store frozen section. I asked if we could send the oysters back and get fried shrimp. We were asked if we had ever eaten fried oysters before. I think because we are in North Texas they think we have never had real seafood before. When the fried shrimp came, I knew immediately they were straight out of a bag. I have to assume everything they sell is frozen food. And they have absolutely no vegetables whatsoever.The lady in front was very nice. The ambience pretty pitiful. And I took my friend there for her birthday dinner. How embarrassing!

I haven't been here yet. But I'm here to tell you that advertisement pays! I was delivering for Walmart and found this on the steps. I googled at and found that they're not on YELP. The pics on Google look great. I'm posting cuz IM GOING! Yea

I bought the chefs box with shrimp heads cut off, I'll tell yeah they clean the shrimp very GOOD! It was cleaned amazingly! My order was delicious I got mild the shrimp was very good, seasoning on point!, the sausage was very good also. I got the bed of rice 1-10 it was solid 9!!

I only come here to eat crab legs, shrimp head off, with cs Cajun seasoning ! There's so much flavor, a lot of food, and a good price!!

The food was amazing, but they do not have metal silverware/scissors or anything to properly open the crab legs. You are provided with a seafood pick and a cracker. Maybe I'm an amateur, or just not strong enough, but I could not get my crab leg open for the life of me and ended up stabbing myself in the hand with the pick and dropping the leg on the floor. Ended up going next door to buy scissors at Kroger in order to even eat the meal. Thats the ONLY reason I didn't give a 5 star review. The taste was great, and they properly clean the shrimp and they are VERY easy to peel.

Food is a 9 absolutely love the ambiance very nice people! PLUS it's byob!! Very chill place
