The daiquiri was HITTIN YALL. I went in and got a half gallon hurricane and man also very friendly family running it! Pick this place over fat Tuesdays and go support your locals!

The host was very welcoming and nice , BUT THE FOOD! I don't understand how this place got this rate but it's in Waxahachie so I'm not surprised . 1. There was hair in my plate 2.the catfish is not seasoned just batter3. The Mardi gras pasta tasted old and you can tell it was microwaved. It was VERY DRY!4.the Cajun corn was too salty and too much butter , i drank a whole water bottle after one bite . Also it was fried and i was looking for a seasoned corn on the cob....5. THE WINGS.... I got honey hot, it was just HONEY AND THE FRIES WERE OLD AND LIMP! They gave us old and none fresh food and we waited for 30-45 min.....If you are going to have a restaurant please take pride in your food , thank you. Will not be returning and i will be posting a review on tik tok.

Ok so I'm obsessed!! Since they starting selling crawfish, I'm there like almost twice a week. They have this crawfish special where you 5lbs of crawfish, 2 smoked sausage links , 2 corns and few potatoes halves all for $35. I've gone places where I've paid more than $35 for just 2lbs without all the extras. The business owner is from New Orleans so you have to know that for the whole shop decorated with a Mardi Gras theme with a little of the NFL team saints sprinkled in there . Very festive. a . I've only got to cross paths with the owner a couple of times , yet each time she's always welcoming and friendly. With a great spirit about her. It's a small spot , but they have a couple of tables /booths for anyone who's waiting to pick up an order or choose to dine in. It's a Daiquiri shop, so far it's the best one I've been too from hospitality, drinks , food and prices . They also have a couple of other yummy goodies like kool-Aid pickles, and pickled pig lips which pairs amazingly with some original lays chips or ruffles. Now back to this crawfish that I'm addicted to. It's Nola style , which means it's not buried in a heavy gravy like sauce . They're seasoned to perfection. They can also be served in a garlic butter sauce that is to die for , seriously. If there were anything I could say that i noticed , depending on the day or time of day that you come , the food is cooked a little differently. Nothing major , but I can definitely tell it's not the same person cooking them the many different times I've gone. I also don't care too much for only getting 2-3 small portion cups of butter for 5 lbs of crawfish. Not a deal breaker , I'm still going to go there regularly. Probably just going to have to start paying extra for the butter sauces in which I don't mind at all. Also got some crawfish and shrimp for friend who is from Louisiana. She always tells me that I have never had any good crawfish until I've been to Louisiana. I keep bringing her crawfish from different spots trying to get her perspective and she's never pleased / impressed. Only this last time I brought her some shrimp and crawfish from here and she said that they were amazing and she even ate some cold she said that's how good they were .

The food isn't bad, but it's not great. The service is on point. They should rename the crab cake (hush puppy cakes with a crab filling because they did not taste like crab cakes they aren't bad they come with a sweet brown sauce that is really good.

Great food, service and excellent daiquiri.. Well visit again it reminds me of being back home in NOLA!!The sounds and smell of New Orleans said the ambiance for this quaint loop restaurant.

I certainly hate to say this cause this is my GO TO PLACE loved this place. However, the last two times I've ordered, I ordered catfish nugget specials usually the catfish nuggets are full, these seem to be so small like the ending of the Catfish just wasn't right. (This was a lady cooking this particular evening.) The cook knew it wasn't right she gave so much more as if it was supposed to fix it. Last night I ordered a six piece catfish I had to keep calling with no answer then it just started going straight to voicemail. So I ordered online it was 630 and the pick up said at 8:05 however, I was already in route and when I went inside, the gentleman (cook) told me that it would be about 15 mins. When I got home, the Catfish was fried so hard and crispy almost rubbery the color like the oil was old. The fish was dark. I love this place. I'm just feeling like it's going downhill. My family was disappointed.

Daiquiris are very good. My husband loves the fried fish. Glad I gave another chance and recommend this place.

Customer service was great!!! The daqs were good! Unfortunately, we weren't impressed by the food . We really wanted to like it. It was our first time and our last time. While chewing my shrimp it was like I was chewing unseasoned chicken Breast. Tough and No flavor. My boyfriend said his wings didn't have any flavor and it tasted old. We pretty much didn't want to waste our money so we ate as much as we could.

I placed my order through Uber Eats so the food would be ready when I got there. It said my order would be prepared by 4:40. I Arrived around 4:30, and the Oder wasn't even touched because they didn't check the machine. So, I received the Oder around 5:25. I think, in my opinion, I should have gotten a curious drink or cake or something. All I got was a thank you for being patient. Now, I have to give it a second thought if I want to spend that kind of money ($90 +) again at this place that doesn't show any sympathy for a person's time or money.
