This place fell off. OFF!!!! We're here during a Mavs game and the place is dead. See my pictures for supportive info. The best part of the meal was the boiled egg and lemon. Our platter had more salt than crab. Salt is 68 cents. We were charged $68. The restaurant also kept 2/3 of the cheesecake we ordered. & they have conveniently removed all prices off the menu. I give it 6 more months tops. Never again. One star for the obscured view of downtown and the climate tonight. Thank you Mother Nature.

Good food. Good service. Nice atmosphere. Crab Pot Boil House is relaxing and offers top notch comfort food. The atmosphere is casual, unassuming and welcoming. They have an A/C enclosed patio, inside dining, and bar seating. My Wednesday evening visit was casual and relaxing. I started with a half dozen fresh gulf oysters on the half shell. These were large gulf oysters and tasty, it would have been nice to have options other than gulf oysters, but a good gulf oyster is always ok.My dinner was a combo basket of fried catfish and shrimp, with a side of fries. Everything was tasty, but I would have preferred the fries a bit more crispy. The staff was prompt, helpful, and courteous.I'll def go back and try their boil bag offerings, I'm sure they are worthy. Boil Pot is a solid casual dinning experience. Overall Crab Pot was a positive experience I'd recommend for the hungry and seafood deprived.

So the place looked good on first glance. But man, was I mistaken. Never been before, and when I walked in, it looked pretty good. I usually get a pooboy but decided to try the fish and shrimp combo, which came with 3 shrimps and 2 fish filets, fries, and hush puppies.I got the order and a first Glace it looked good, but man, was I bamboozled. The shrimp were smashed to make them look larger than they were, and the fish was all breading with a paper thin fish in all the breading. This plate was ridiculous it set me back 20 dollars. To add, Insult to injury, the worst part is that there was absolutely no flavor to the fish or shrimp. The fries were ok, and the hushpuppies I swear might have come from a bag. This was highway robbery for what you get. Staff was more busy twerking than working. Sorry, but this was not worth 20ish bucks at all. You could get the same at Long John Silver and half the price.Fish 1 outa 10 I think it was more air than anythingShrimp 1 outa 10 flattened go all hellFries 3 outa 10 about the best thing in the dishHushpuppies 2 outa 10 at least they had flavorAll in all its a nope for me!But hey, yall go try it out they might make the drinks strong enough that you might forget

Chose this place for a date day. It was a pretty good experience. The boil bag was pretty good. I got the cajun seasoning and I found it a little salty but not horrible. I would just do garlic/butter next time. And I would try a different boil combo just to expand my experience. The fried dishes were ok, not really seasoned. My husband said he would try the fried combo again, but he would be equipped with some type of seasoning in his bag (lol). Now with that said, the drinks were good. We had a couple shots of tequila, michelada, mule and regular beers. If nothing else, we'd go back for drinks and enjoy the music and people watching.

WOW! So Extremely Clean Inside with Modern Fun Decor! The food was Absolutely Incredible!! I got the #1 Combo which comes with Shrimp, Crab, Sausage, 2 Potatoes & 2 boiled eggs. The Mr. Crab Sauce was the perfect w/ Medium Spice Level was Packed with flavor and just the right amount of heat. The staff is very friendly Especially the Cashier/Waiter at the Front. We sat at the bar and realized ALL beers,Draft or Bottle, no matter domestic or import is only $5 on Mondays. We will FOR SURE be back! The seafood boil you could tell was fresh & high quality, the Shrimp & Crab was succulent with sweet meat inside.I also loved that it came with scissors and a cracker to allow easy access for the crab shell. They also have a very nice tequilla selection including Don Julio 1942 & Clase Azul. LOVE LOVE LOVE This place!!

I've visited this place several times now, and it's been a great experience every time! Here's what I've had the pleasure of experiencing:**The Boil Combo #1**: This glorious feast includes 1/2 lb shrimp, 1/2 lb snow crab, corn, potatoes, sausage, and eggs. First time having boiled ovum in a seafood boil, I like.**4lbs of Crawfish**: They were delicious. The flavor? I can't remember exactly, but I think it was a little bit of everything - lemon and Cajun and garlic**Combo Basket**: These baskets are filled with crispy, golden goodness. The shrimp and catfish were amazing, lemon pepper fries were amazing as well.**Shrimp Po Boy**: The only thing better than this sandwich would be if it was way bigger. Perfectly butterflied shrimp, tender, and crispy on the outside. Topped with avocado and fresh greens.**Grilled Trout**: Ah, the one that swam upstream and didn't quite make it. Sorry, trout, you were the fish out of water in this seafood fiesta. The restaurant never seems to be too busy, which is a win for my impatient stomach. Food comes out quickly, so no need to start gnawing on the table. If you're looking for a place where you're not waiting for more than an hour to be seated and order, check this place out. Came here the other night for a fun meal while watching the mavericks game. We loved all the TVs and that they played the sound of the game! We came in early and were the only people there, but it took a little extra time for us to get served. We ordered 6 oysters, a half lb crawfish boil, and the combo #1 which included a 1/2 lb of snow crab and a 1/2 lb of shrimp. They have two sauces and can make it a variety of spices, however even mild is pretty spicy in the Cajun seasoning! The only little thing that happened was one of the bags came with a sausage in the boil bag and we do not eat sausage. We'd asked to not have it included but they were very quick to fix this mistake. Overall this is a very cute and quality neighborhood restaurant and we will be back!

This delicious menu didn't disappoint. The freshest food was served; the Mexican Shrimp Cocktail had plump shrimp and a lot of Avocado and was extremely tasty. The boiled Combo #1 had an extraordinary amount of crab legs, huge shrimp, meaty sausage, potatoes and boiled eggs. The sauce was perfect, as well. They offer self-serve ice cold water infused with either cucumber or lemon; love that! The service was over-the-top friendly. We loved the casual yet polished ambiance which made for a pleasant dining experience. VERY CLEAN! We'll definitely be back!

Sauce flavor is really good but the shrimp has obviously been cooking all day. Crab was good but all the shrimp was literally mush from cooking too long. For $60, will not be ordering again. Shame because flavors really are good.
