The drink is good, but overpriced at $15 for the size they give you. Best stick to water and drink at home. The drink has fresh fruit in it. Black raspberries to be specific. (So they say). The service from the gentleman, whom was an employee of the former "jalapeño", is really good at his job. He runs this restaurant. He had multiple suggestions. And he's only an employee! He should be an owner. I ordered something "new" off this updated menu. Was disappointed in the Huarache. One flat piece of flat bread with almost NO fajita meat. I'm not kidding. Almost no meat. I even counted the 2 thinly sliced pieces. Bread is the base of this product. Super thick, with cheaply placed toppings and way too chewy. You can get better food at Schlotzkies. Same item, much cheaper, and a better taste. Huge disappointment. I wouldn't order this again. They have cleaned up the restaurant. Same tables, but they did add some additional tables. The dirty window shades have been removed, leaving the area open. I'll try something different the next time, if I return. The Mexican flat bread was way over priced and super boring!The chips and beans sauce are good. Even with all the "open space" it's not a good restaurant. The location is good for a restaurant. What this spot needs is a total revamp. Pretty much what they did was put lipstick on a pig to make it look half-way pretty. The updated menu is lacking good Mexican food choices. June 2024

We are long time customers and have been coming for years. We really enjoyed Jalepeno's (restaurant name before new management) and we love Noel who has worked there for years, BUT the quality of the food has just fallen through the floor. I ordered a steak fajita quesadilla and it came our drenced in grease. I was just shocked, and I added a picture for context. My wife ordered the Chicken fajitas and they came out dry and tasteless. I attempted to eat part of the quesadilla but it made me sick at my stomach and did not even make it home before I had to RUSH to a bathroom (thanks Tom Thumb) I asked to speak to a manager and the waiter said there wasnt anything he could do, didnt offer to make anything else or to take it off the ticket so we will not be going back. As I sit here thinking about it, I am feeling Nauseous. I gave it two stars because the staff there truly is very nice but the food is now just isnt good.

Not impressed! We went there to dine with a one year old, all of the high chairs were broken and you couldn't use the safety strap. Chips they brought out were cold and stale. In the short time we were there two tables sent their food back. At that point we said, this probably is a bad idea. Tipped the waitress, it's not her fault and left. We went down the street to ElGrande Burrito and had a very good lunch for half the price. They need to go take lessons. Won't be back.

Tried the new place this evening ... was told it's been open 7mos... hubs ordered chicken flautas they were fresh and yummy, on the light side I ordered only a kids steak quesadilla and received a 6inch flour tortilla rolled in half with ground beef and little cheese.. asked for charro beans instead of refried but that was "extra" .. chips mediocre and the salsas not spicy and no flavor .. pretty ho hum .. service was rushed and short asked for a second beef and guy completely forgot, the old men waiters need to get with the program .. they need a hostess and some waitresses with personalities if they want to make it. 3 out of five because the flautas and the charros beans were hot and fresh .. likely will only get these in the future

The food was delicious and the service was great! Server took really good care of us. I ordered the chicken fajitas and my partner ordered the fajita nachos. Loved their bean dip also! Strawberry margaritas was also great, the small was pretty big!

Ordered beef fajitas and it came with beans and rice. Meat was tender, rice was good and bean were fine. Flour tortillas came out very lightly cooked. Very very white no brown or black cooked marks. I like mine darker. Asked for some guacamole lime sauce but is was just green sauce. It was not spicy at all. Red sauce was fine and they gave us some black bean dip as well which was good. Service was fine ambiance was ok. It was good over all.
