Concerts In the Garden

Love this place. Yes, if you get here late, parking can be difficult. We attended the salute to Star Wars, and had a table up front. BYOB is awesome as well as bringing our own food, and we had an incredible time. My recommendation is pay a bit more for valet, and it helps you get out quicker, and you don't have to walk that far to get your car.

5:00pm - Got in line, pretty close to the entrance5:30pm - Will call trailer opens6:30pm - Doors open8:15pm - Show startsThe Star Wars Symphony was sold out on both Friday and Saturday nights and it was PACKED! I felt so bad for the people who had to set up their seats behind the booths, they could not even see the stage.Bring your wagons to carry your blankets, coolers, picnic snacks, and foldable chairs! Please try to minimize the blanket space to make room for others so that more people could enjoy the show as well. :)Tip: Bring a battery operated fan! The humidity levels are quite high which makes it feel like it's hotter than normal. Also, bring bug spray!+ There are two entrances, north and south. Both lines will allow you entrance to the lawn area. Both entrances have will call trailers.+ I do recommend getting there and waiting in line quite early! We had really good spots, just behind the fence of the red table zone.+ There was a trailer of bathroom stalls complete with sinks that had running water.+ People were able to take pictures with Star Wars characters (storm troopers, Darth Vader, Rey).+ The laser light show and the fireworks were amazing!

What a wonderful way to spend a Texas summer evening! You get to share the splendor of the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens with the Fort Worth Symphony and my favorite jazz fusion group, Pink Martini. It just doesn't get much better than that. We brought our picnic dinner of salads, bread and wine and enjoyed the cool Texas evening while listening to some incredible music.

We came for the Star Wars Laser Light show and it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen! The lasers were set to the music and were absolutely gorgeous. The fireworks show at the end was incredible as well. We parked in the parking lot at Farrington Field and were shuttled to the gardens. The staff were all very courteous and the shuttles were clean. We were intimidated by the long (I mean longggggg) line of people waiting to go into the gardens for this event, but the line moved so fast - it was impressive. We will definitely be going back every year!

Summertime staple for this FW gal. Every year some shows reoccur like Star Wars and 4th of July and every year they have something new, this year David Bowie gig sounded cool. However, after missing Pink Floyd show due to rain twice, was thrilled to catch this years performance. I have a routine when I go...I ALWAYS take a lil time to pack the essentials. ICE , top shelf margaritas, so good when the Texas heat is trying to beat you down. Fruit is a necessity I include with any good picnic. Gotta stay hydrated in high 90's & triple digits as is often our fate in June&July. I usually get a table but that is only to avoid kids....crying babies and such. This year I opted for lawn seats and spent a lil extra for parking. Had a blast as usual. If you can tolerate the heat, this is an event not to he missed! Fw symphony is stellar!

Horrible band. I don't think I have ever heard so many songs sung so poorly. I think they sang a correct note once or twice but still no passion.

Star Wars laser light show with fireworks! So cool! I've never much considered going to see the orchestra but this was great! We like there was a nice shuttle to ferry us back and forth from the parking lot. Lawn seating fills up quick!

Green River Ordinance was awesome. Did not know if I would like 2 hours of Anerican Folk Music. They were great.
