Just came to say that Rick H is a turd. Leaving a 1 star because they allow smoking in a bar. Cry me a river. At least provide a reasonable review like 3 star. They did have some good qualities that you admitted. Your review is trash and you're disrespectful. It was undeserved.

So, buddy asks me if I want to go have a drink at this bar across from Bell Helicopter one night. I'm like, "are you kidding? No!" He says it's a nice place, about as divey as where we were at the time, and after he said he'd drive, I said "sure, why not"Get there, walk in, and he's right. It's not bad at all. It's old inside and the last remodel looks like it was back in the 70's, but I never really care about that stuff. It was a weekend night and there were quite a few people there. Bartenders were quick and friendly. No draft beer, but a pretty stocked full bar so no complaints. One thing I really ended up liking best about this place, was it's a mostly older crowd. Majority of people, I'd guess, 40's and up, maybe upper 30's in the least. I'm bad with ages. Everyone was friendly. Looks like a big regular crowd, seemed everyone knew each other. People doing Karaoke in the corner. Everyone was having a good time. Didn't see any people having drama or walk in misfits making trouble. Bit of a drive for me, but might make this more of a first stop on the weekend place. Drinks were reasonable.

Nice smoky little dive complete with pool tables. They're some pretty die hard regulars here, but they are all super friendly and interested in what brought you in. Bonus props for having a security camera in the parking lot with a live feed of your vehicle. I must warn you that they only take ca$h. Bar tender was way cool, too.Four bottles of domestic beer was $19 and some change.

I came here on a whim when my friend Nicole told me her father came out here frequently. As I love small, local businesses, this place appealed to me when I drove up. It's small and out of the way as well, which is another plus for me.The people here are friendly and the feeling I get from this bar is very much a 'cheers' type of feeling. The family that owns this bar create an atmosphere that almost suggests you to be a part of this exclusive family. The history is fantastic as well, such as the owner having worked for the original owner, I believe. The prices are cheap and affordable, and the drinks are simple, which is great as well. It is a membership driven club, but the membership is easily affordable, and while they don't take cards, if you carry at least $20, you'd still have more than enough for even just a few drinks. I'd recommend this place very highly, it's an old place, but a grand place.

I cannot believe I am the first person to review the Cobra Club- or as I called it when I was a regular, The Bra. I don't make it to Hurst much anymore, but when I do you can bet I will stop by to say hi to my old friends. This is the ultimate dive bar. They don't take credit cards, so bring your cash. It is also a private club, so you have to sign up for a membership for a nominal annual fee. Do it, you won't be sorry. This isn't a see and be seen place, it is where you stop when you have been riding your motorcycle around all day and need a drink and a smoke, because smoking is not only allowed, but encouraged. They don't serve food either, drinking is the main attraction here. We don't need no stinking food- there is a sandwich in every beer, right? There are two pool tables and a juke box filled with all the Hank Williams and Johnny Cash you could ever hope for. Now I am getting nostalgic for my old haunt, I might have to make a trip out West soon.

This bar is like going home to Cheers! Everybody will is friendly and makes you feel right at home. I was also lucky enough to catch the bartender working at the time that was an electronic genius!!!! He was bar tending and helping 1 person on the phone & helping one person in person with their computer. Everybody said, "Oh yeah, that's Terry!"

Nice smaller club with pool tables, a stage & dance floor. They have reasonably priced drinks served by some of the nicest folks around. The regular crowd is friendly. I usually stop in for Friday Night Karaoke. Great K J with large song collection who is very easy to work with. The sing list is not overly long so it's a good laid back evening.

I stopped in looking to chill. Atmosphere was good and a friendly crowd, unfortunately I spotted ash trays everywhere. Yes smoking is permitted! For me this is a deal killer! For you smokers, there is a place for you.

Not Veteran friendly! My brother is a USMC vet and looking for a place to decompress. He brought his well trained service dog in with him. One of the patron's asked him to leave because she said his dog was an obstacle. The owner was aware and didn't make my brother feel welcome. Unfortunate!!!
