I've eaten here several times during the past year + while I worked nearby. The best part is the chips and salsa. Salsa has some kick and is on point. Food is overall very basic Tex Mex cuisine but generally good. Homemade tortillas are a little thick and heavy. Fajita plate is not the best but can be had at a better price than you'll find anywhere else.Refried beans are always runny and the rice lacks much flavor. But who goes for the rice and beans anyways? The taco salad is pretty good, as is the taco plate. Fajita burrito or combination burrito are both good. Chile relleno is also pretty solid. Have not had their breakfast.Overall, it's a good value because the service is fast, prices are fairly inexpensive, and the staff is friendly.

I'm so mad that I didn't take any pictures This PLACE is AMAZING so initially I had sensory overload but, once I was able to focus in the decor is adorable definitely kid friendly & a place to have GREAT Food with friends & Family we started off with freshly made chips & salsa... so I was already impressed with just that but my friend requested this dip that's an elevated ranch type of super delicious but it's not ranch. I honestly never caught the name because I was to busy devouring it I was so impressed that I completely deviated from my normal nachos order & got the sampler platter from the appetizers, just to see if it was a fluke. Guess WHAT it wasn't it was such a healthy portion I couldn't finish my food well I'm here to confess that lefts overs are as good as fresh. When you go be sure to buy that dip n take it home as well as the handmade to tortilla shells to step your taco night all the way up

Chips are fresh and crispy, salsa is great.Guisada burrito covered with chili con carne and cheese hits the spot. The portions are large and prices are low.

The restaurant was fairly clean. The staff was friendly and the food was awesome. The only thing that bugged me was I wanted to take home my leftovers and something where happened. I got up briefly from my table to pay for my check and to use the restroom. When I came back to my table my food was thrown away. The girl who was cleaning disregarded my headset and cell phone which would signal a person someone is still eating at this table. Instead she threw away my food picked up my cell phone and ear piece and brought it to me as I was paying for my meal. I wasn't done and I wanted to take my leftovers home. Additionally, the food was absolutely amazing!

Good chips and salsa, good sweet tea. Sub par everything else. The tacos were really greasy, enough that by the second one I was struggling to keep a hard shell together so I could eat it. The fajitas were chewy...is that why it's called chuys? There just isn't much to say about this place.

This place is near work so convenience is great especially when they bring out the food really promptly. I was done in 30 min. Ordered a combination 1...cheese enchilada, chili covered beef enchilada, hard beef taco and a guacamole tostada. The hard taco meat was super greasy that the hard shell was soggy, I tried eating it first but the meat was really hot in temp that I ended up a bit burnt. So, no hard tacos for me from now on. The enchiladas were ok, nothing to make me just order them on their own. The guacamole tostada was a letdown. An extra toasted tostada, yes I know a tostada is toasted but this was already that burnt orange color. All it had was a layer of shredded lettuce topped with a small scoop of guacamole and shredded cheese. I ended up risking everything g off and reassembling as tostada spread with guacamole then some lettuce on top. Will I go back...yes...there's more on the menu I'd like to try but I can definitely X off the #1 combo.

Went around 10:00 am on a Saturday. 1 table was occupied maybe a total of 2 customers at the time. Man/woman (manager?) behind counter ignored me while chatting with friends. Waited 10 minutes on menu, drink etc and then bailed. No one seemed to care when I walked out - guess the 2 customers they had are enough to make a profit

Love this restaurant! Carne Guisada is the best I've had. I used to work in the area and it was a weekly lunch stop for me. Work in Carrollton now but, I make the trip as often as I can. Great portion size too. You won't leave hungry

My co-worker and I ordered take-out for the first time at this restaurant today. I ordered "2 orders of lunch beef fajitas". He asked if I wanted the "plate", and I said yes, because it says on the menu that rice & beans are included. (It doesn't say "plate" on either the lunch or dinner menu, but I feel like rice & beans qualifies it as a plate.) The price for this per the menu is $7.75. We were charged $25 for both. Maybe there was some miscommunication, but I guess they gave us the dinner fajitas instead, which cost $11.75. I think to myself, fine, we will have leftovers. When we asked for chips & salsa, we were told it would cost an ADDITIONAL $5.99!! I have 3 issues with this: First, if I were sitting down and eating the same food in your restaurant, I would have unlimited chips and salsa for no additional charge. I was only asking for a single side order. Second, I have never ordered takeout from a Mexican restaurant that doesn't include a side of chips and salsa with your order at no additional charge. Especially when you order a full meal. It may be a small side, but it's included in the price, just as it would be if you were dining inside. Third, $5.99 for a single side order of chips and salsa?? You can get a full pint of salsa and a gallon bag full of chips at Pappasito's for $5.00. The salsa, guacamole & pico were fine, the rice & beans were good, but the fajita meat was very tough and didn't have much flavor. There also wasn't much there, given that we were charged the dinner price. We are disappointed. It would've been a great takeout location for us, but we won't be back.

Good vibes. Pretty good food. The other half says the margaritas were okay. We would definitely go back. Lots of wall decor.
