Excellent lunch with 10 ladies! We made a reservation online easily with Open Table. Ana was our waitress and did a fantastic job! Everyone loved their food and she had no problems doing our separate checks! She was so sweet and helpful answering our menu questions as there were several southwestern items m. We were curious about the heat levels. They have a soup and quiche of the day! Their pick two and pick three plates were a favorite and last but not least the desserts are fabulous! We are already planning to return in December!

This is a fun place to have lunch with the ladies or to celebrate a birthday .. it's a little on the tacky side but the great food, extensive menu, great service, and great prices make it a hidden gem... and don't skip the dessert... yum.., we will be back.

The ambiance and service is great but the food is mediocre. Never seen a cucumber sandwich open faced and frankly not very tasty nor was the pimento cheese worth taking a second bite. The quiche was decent and fruit was fresh. The scone though was delicious.

During my recent visit to Texas, my friend and I became nostalgic and decided to have lunch at The Chocolate Angel Cafe. We used to go at least once a month when I lived in Dallas. It did not disappoint! The food was as delicious as I remembered. Two of my favorite foods were still on the menu - the tomato basil soup and the coconut cream pie. Everything we ordered was delicious comfort food. The service was great. It's a charming cafe. The cafe is a tea room located in the Antique Mall. I highly recommend the Chocolate Angel Cafe. I can't believe I haven't written a review for this Cafe after all the years I've been going there. The menu has remained the same, the food is consistent- good quality and scrumptious, and the tea room charm still exists!Plenty of parking available.

I was lucky enough to stumble upon this beautifully decorated restaurant located in the back left corner of the antique mall. On a weekday for lunch I had no issues getting a table but planning ahead would be preferred. The food was good but the chocolate pie I took home to eat later was the best part. Perfect place for a ladies lunch.

What a hidden place this is! Make sure to call and make a reservation, we did and they were almost booked out for a Friday morning/afternoon. There is live piano being played, not sure if this is a daily thing but it was so lovely. It is tucked away in an huge antique mall. Prices are very affordable for what you are served. We tried a few things but you must try the strawberry pretzel salad which is nothing like a salad but every bit a delicious dessert. Offers a simple menu but very well done! It is definitely an older crowd that was there dining. We had a lovely lunch, the staff and owner were very friendly. Will definitely be telling my family & friends about this place and be back again!

We came, we saw, we drank tea! And the tea was very good! we tried the signature white and the decadent and they were both good. The little sandwiches were cute and pretty tasty. The lemon bar was the best dessert in my opinion. This is a fun afternoon treat if you want to do something different or would be cute for a birthday or baby shower. For high/afternoon tea, you do not choose your food. It is a standard menu. The tea you do get to choose. One pot for meal and one for dessert. 4/5 stars due to them having a hard time with reservations. Not only ours, they did get it figured out but it was a hassle. Then at the end, they automatically include gratuity but then add a line to make it look like there wasn't a tip added. Shady. I would have actually tipped more than the suggested gratuity, but not after they try to trick you. And the amount suggested for a tip was based on the amount with the tip they already added! So you're tipping on your tip.

Ok this place is SOOOO cool! We did lunch with my older OLLLLLDER lady friends And I indeed was the youngest in the building but did not mind! This is such a lovely relaxing place and the decadent tea was my FAV! Their veggie sandwich was TOO GOOD FOR WORDS! Wowzer! And their side salad was delicious! Would 100 percent come back again over and over. Just a nice place to hang out and enjoy your afternoon! It gets PACKED in here so make sure to add a reservation!

Not a true High Tea. We made reservations, as required, for their "High Tea". It was not even close to a high tea! It felt like we had ordered a sampler plate off the menu. It wasn't horrible food, it was just okay. I wouldn't recommend or return.

Never be in a hurry when at a tea room in an antique mall. Do yourself a favor and give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the ambience and pleasantries that is a beautiful experience. We had my daughter's 2nd birthday ("tea for 2" theme) and it was lovely. The food was absolutely delicious. Carol the piano player is always delightful. They were obviously slammed with a lot of patrons on this holiday weekend, so we had a long wait to order and receive food, but everything is made fresh to order and tasted amazing. The hot tea selection is very fun. I recommend "decadent." I thoroughly enjoyed the "some like it hot" sandwich. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals.
