Chiloso Mexican Bistro - Richardson

I am a first time customer and now a fan!This place hit on all facets for my visit. The customer service from the servers/food peepers on the line was great and the cashier was also great. The food was fantastic! I love a place that knows how to flavor meats without over salting and this is a place that knows how to do that. I ordered a Bowl, where you choose the ingredients and they make it for you. They have a lot to choose from and everything was fresh and delicious!The ambiance awash a modern bistro feel. It was pleasant and comfortable without feeling too drab like many places. It was exquisitely clean as well, which made the whole experience enhanced in a good way!

For all my Cali people searching the great plains of Dallas looking for that authentic Mexican food, this is the spot! I admit, I still don't know what's done differently in Tex-Mex but I taste the difference wherever I've gone. Chiloso is not Tex-Mex by my tastebuds It may look like a Chipotle derivative at first with the ingredients laid out on the counter behind a sneeze guard, but you do not go down the line saying what ya want and don't want. Ya order from the menu, which has a lot of great options, and the cooks take care of the rest. Like a traditional taqueria, they'll bring your food to the table inside or out. I am in love with their shrimp and tilapia tacos. Seafood tacos are not something every place pulls off well whether the flavor is simply lacking or the protein portion is pretty thin. Neither the case here. You get your money's worth. The burrito bowl is a runner-up for me. Again, the authentic flavors I've been missing for years are there and just like Lucky Charms it's magically delicious.

This location is definitely a go to on my list when I'm in this area. I love that they really pack up your tacos as well as the avocado. I typically get full from two tacos at the Wylie location but at this location I did start getting full after one. I also like that they had a mini bar and tv style set up with seating if you choose. Has its own unique vibe just like Wylie has its own lotería vibe.

This is actually some of the most authentic Mexican food I've found since moving to Dallas. I'm originally from California where we have super great Mexican food. This is less tex mex and more real Mexican food. The meat is flavored so well and tender. We tried chicken bowls. The pico de gallo was so fresh and had a spicy kick. The ranch avocado type dressing was also so yummy to drizzle over the bowl. Please try!

The food here so delicious! Super fast service, great menu items, a bit pricey but the portions are pretty decent so it's okay. They do have mix drinks and beer here. The place usually gets pretty packed but the line moves along pretty fast. The best part is all the different salsas they have. I personally love me a good salsa so i love the choices. The omg quesadillas are my fav. Very good little Mexican spot. Whenever i go shopping at the Tj maxx next door, i always stop here for some lunch/dinner. They are also open for breakfast as well.

Ok so... no one is going to talk about the $15.50 smothered burrito and the $4.25 side a queso....? Chiloso, y'all have lost your ever living minds. Big money like your food is worth 5 star dining prices. Newp!!Anyone else want to talk about those happy employees?! No?! Probably because they all look miserable af. How hard is it to smile at your patrons...? I truly don't understand. You want to give me mediocre service and then spin your tip pad in my direction. Again, newp!! The fella running the line tonight had zero patience. Boy, if you didn't hurry the eff up and tell him what you wanted... I don't see this location lasting much longer and if it does, I'll be surprised.

Good food! I recommend the grilled chicken avocado meal. I typically order a "half order", unless you prefer leftovers. A tad bit pricey.

Great food but service sucks. Cashiers are rude and the people who prepare my food always short me. I'll start going to the Frisco location.

My first time here was disappointing. The protein had very little flavor and the sides all tasted like canned food. For the prices they ask for you'd expect better quality..
