Cedar Creek Brewery

A nice craft beer/food oasis, worth the detour if you're doing the back roads thing through this part of Texas. Very impressive array of beers on tap, something for any beer nerd in your group. Also a simple but comprehensive food menu to cover all your meaty/fried/roadside diner type cravings.We opted for a custom pizza, and it was definitely a good lunch choice. Everything was nice and fresh tasting, and with the Dankosaurus IPA passing the Hop Queen's Snoot of Approval, well worth the diversion in our trip to try them out. Very local, "pub" feel, friendly and fast service. Just wish it was closer to us!

Plowboys is actually inside the awesome Cedar Creek Brewery! Jim started brewing his own at home while still teaching High School. This place is the go to for locals for great beers, food, and friends. They have a mug club for regulars with cool steins that stay at the brewery (see the pic). The food is pretty basic but done with purpose so it's not every day, everywhere else basic if you know what I mean. They are all about the community and supporting local animal shelter, car shows to help a family that lost their house in a fire and so on and on. So, parrotheads, rednecks, hippies, to uptown lawyers and people who live in trailers can all feel at home here, come on down!

Fun place to visit inside Cedar Creek Brewery and grab a bar snack and great brew! Lots of selections and very nice employees and good service with inside and outside seating. Special events are a blast as well!!

Our family's first experience here. What a home run! I loved the different choice of IPAs. The hamburgers were fantastic! I had the Atomic burger and it was the right heat with moist flavor. The fried egg was a nice touch too. My wife loved her mushroom burger as well. The buns were so fresh the seemed like they were right out of the oven. The onion rings and sweet potato wedges were solid. My daughters had the yard bird and salad and both stated they were scrumptious. The surprise of the night was the lovely young lady performing on the patio. Hanna ? was fantastic and she played everything from Beatles to Miranda Lambert. We were all throwing cash in her guitar case. Hannah and other performers should be stated on your events website. It was a neat family function that even our teenagers welcomed. Memories in development! From a opportunity standpoint, simply have a few wine cooler choices for those that might not appreciate craft beers yet. You would have had more revenue by easily selling a couple of Mikes Hard Lemonade-Dark Cherry,Strawberry,... if you would have had some. Instead my wife drank tap water. Maybe next time we are there

Anyone leaving a review higher than 1 star was paid to do so. I've had better food at a little league ballgame. Just awful. Too bad, because I love Cedar Creek Brewery and haven't tried a beer that I didn't love.

The service and the atmosphere were great, the food was awful. My husband's pulled pork was actually gray, I'm not sure I've ever seen anything so unappetizing. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, the chicken looked like it had been well seasoned, but maybe grilled several days ago and then reheated. We each took one bite and couldn't go back for another. Kids shared nuggets, they were passable. From other reviews maybe we caught them on an off day, but we won't be trying again.

First, you are greeted by really nice people.You order at the counter and they bring you out the foodVery clean, nice atmosphere. We sat outside and really enjoyed the weather.Food: EXCELLENT. Four of us each had something different and everything was great. Award winning chili, excellent pulled pork. Try the Fried Fry (I think its called). Fried green beans, fried mac and cheese and fried pickles. I honestly didnt want to try any of them but my son told me I had to. Unbelievably good.Beer: EXCELLENT. Needless to say, we really enjoyed ourselves.

Hanging with "Mr. Over the top" Ray (bartender) here and there is certainly a new and better vibe at Cedar Creek Brewery! Ray had a plethora of delicious samples for the crew. The Cherry Limeade was interesting like a wine cooler, but settled to my style WeizeAss (Hepeweizin). More of a hazy, mellow, and citrus refreshment. To eat this time I ordered the "Slow Burn" burger with added fresh Jalepenios. The onion rings and sweet potatoes were great too. The bun was a very fresh sourdough with pepper Jack cheese melted as a tasty foundation. My only suggestion for perfection would be to see if there is a way to cook their meat patties medium versus well done as an option. I'll be back!

Heather was amazing!! She was so sweet, had great recommendations, and made our experience so much better!! The firebird was sooooo good!! New kitchen manager is great!!!! I love this place!!!

I had the Big Salad with supposedly grilled chicken. The chicken had no flavor, and I'd say it was boiled chicken vs grilled. There was no seasoning or taste. Worst flavored grilled chicken salad I've had at any restaurant, fast food included. Service was at best average and the restaurant was not very busy. We also had a burger w chili that was average. The fryer was not working so you couldn't get anything fried, like french fries with a burger! The atmosphere was ok. Picnic tables! Save your money. Our first and last visit.
