If I were a local, I'd take every single date here. The ambiance, atmosphere, rooftop, quiet corners, couches are perfect for a date.The food menu is very small. However, very extensive cocktail list.I didn't think my espresso martini was anything, but average. I did like the endamame though.

Overpriced, but a cute vibe with a nice rooftop. That's it. That's the review.I've been to Catbird twice, once last year for my birthday and once a few weeks ago on a Friday night. You have to do a reservation here. It's a must. Catbird is very chic and trendy, but it definitely attracts more women than men. The rooftop is excellent and has great views. That said, the menu rotates and it's all overpriced, but not bad on flavor.The first time I came, me and my party came for drinks only. Their website indicated that they would close at about 1am, so imagine our surprise when the "bouncer?" came around at 12:15am to all of the tables telling everyone that it was time to wrap up and leave. Huh? Sir, it won't take us 45 minutes to head out. Yet, by 12:30am all of us were ushered to the elevators to exit. Annoying.Fast forward almost a year later, when I returned for dinner with a group of three of us. After our "two-hour" time was almost up, again a host approached our table and told us that our reservation time was up. Huh? MInd you, this was about 9pm on a Friday night and there were multiple booths and tables around ours that were empty. Why do we need to leave now? I am confusion. We complied, and decided to go check out the rooftop before leaving for a few minutes. When we came back inside about 10 minutes later, we were annoyed to see that our table was still unoccupied. Interesting, considering you made a whole thing about leaving because our reservation was over. I don't take these things personally. This isn't about race or anything like that. It's just the policies of this establishment are somewhat rigid and ridiculous. I understand that Catbird is a popular destination for special events, nice dates, and girls nights, but the policies and enforcement of these policies could be adjusted. This is a great cocktail bar to come for drinks, but beyond that, there are better places or places just as great that you can go to, and possibly have a better experience.

Came here at the recommendation of a friend. I enjoyed my time. We came during the week so it wasn't too busy but I heard the weekends are really poppin. Plan to go back. The food was good. It was more small plates. Can't remember but I believe it was just the late night menu. Service was also great. I think our server's name was Alexis? She was very nice. The view from the outside is pretty cool. I would go back for sure.

The chicken karaage is one of the best apps I've ever had! I also enjoyed the ambiance a lot too; most of the restaurant is pretty well lit. Service was a little slow, however.

Cute spot for date night or drinks with the girls! Ambiance & Service: Catbird can be tricky to find, and parking is a challenge, but it's worth the effort. The interior is upscale and chic, with excellent service. Drinks: Tried the signature Catbird cocktail--sweet, tart, and perfect for happy hour. Highly recommend! TL;DR: Stylish venue, great drinks, and top-notch service. Perfect for a night out!

Super cute spot with a quiet ambiance! At least on a Sunday. You can valet your car and get your ticket validated by the hostess stand, or park your car yourself for $10. The bar is on the 9th floor and has a beautiful outdoor area with a nice view of the city. Indoors is super comfortable and chic and seating for both large and small parties.They don't have bigger plates, mostly tapas, but our waitstaff mentioned the beef ribs are slightly heavier and would be good for hungrier appetites. Their fries were so good we ordered two servings!Will definitely come back for a nice night out with the girls!

I love catbird. It's gorgeous! The menu rotates so my most recent visit I was obsessed with the fries and the aioli they came with. PERFECTION. Make sure to make a reservation in advance!

It was date night for my husband and I so we ventured into Dallas to try Catbird. We made a reservation and even though we were 15 minutes late they still accommodated us - and with a smile. We had a great seat location by the window so we could see the outside seating as well as the amazing view of downtown. Our server was very helpful and sweet and provided us with excellent food recommendations. We tried the Burnt End Hummus and Flanken Beef Ribs which were both absolutely delicious! We were worried that the food wouldn't be filling since it's mostly small plates, but we shared both meals and they were the perfect portion. I also tried the espresso martini and it was wonderful!The vibes in this place are fantastic and the ambiance is Instagramable. This is the perfect place for a date night, ladies night, or just to have a drink and enjoy the lowkey atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

If you're looking for good/chill vibes, great music, great drinks, cute aesthetic and great service this is your place. We stopped by on a Saturday night and sat inside. The vibes were dope and the music was good, they had a dj. The drinks we got were soooo good. Probably one of the best espresso martinis. We also got fries and the spicy ketchup was soooo good. I will be back.

Great rooftop option in Dallas.Space design is chic. They have ladies night as well. Drinks are little expensive but good taste.
