The Brisket was OK and the Sausage and Hot Links were really good. Their Potato Salad was Awesome and the beans were very good.Why two stars you ask ? Very unfriendly there, even the server gave you a feeling that she wasn't working there because she enjoyed her job. I heard bad comments going back and forth with a customer buying cigarettes also.

Very good bbq stand in a country store. The brisket was really good. Tender and flavorful. I can't believe that a Yankee who lives in SoCal is the first person to review this place.

Sad sad sad. This place once ranked in the top 50 by Texas Monthly, now it wouldn't even make the list if they expanded to the top 5,000. I understand it has been sold and the new owners have let the place take a nose dive. They obviously don't care about the name that is still on the store. I was disappointed the minute I walked into the store. It has been 10 plus years sense my last visit. The place was cluttered and on the verge of being nasty. On the wall were news clippings and magazine covers that reminded you that the place was once a great BBQ place. Most were hidden behind racks that held chips or other snacks. On the same counter that you order your BBQ is a pizza warming rack similar to what you'd see in a QT or 7-11, that immediately told me the place wasn't the same. Both the store atmosphere and the BBQ are just a shadow of what it once was. What really let me down wast the sound of a microwave heating up my brisket. Sad what this once great place has become.

I really enjoy the brisket and the sausage there. Wife enjoys the bologna. Sides are ok. Just a great little place to pick up the food and take home

I wanted to try this place a few times to make sure I had the same experience each time. That being said, I've had the ribs three separate times and they are great every time. They are moist, tender, flavorful and fall right off the bone. Not to mention, you get enough to feed two people for $20! I will definitely be trying other menu items in the future.

Bar-B-Q was good, but I took my chances eating it. The meat was handled without the use of plastic gloves and, the cashier had a hacking cough. This really put me off.
