Good Pupusas!
They have upgraded the place. Love the new color. What can say the pupusas are good and the fried corn tamale also caldo De res.
Papusas in front. Corn tamale in back/right. Pork tamale back/left. White cream is a little sour like Greek yogurt minus 10.

One word: PUPUSA. Probably the best I've had and it's literally down the street from where I live! They make it fresh! You can tell it's fresh because it takes about 5-8 minutes wait and one bite and you're going to burn your tongue. Come here for the most authentic Salvadorian food! The pupusas are sold for $1.35 and there is beans, meat, or cheese. Try all three. You will love it. It comes with a side of cabbage and together, it's just tastes so good.

The food is great but the service is horrible, the older dude is kind of rude and the place is really dirty, the restrooms OMG don't even go in there, it's really bad! I always get the Carlo de res and it's really good.

I was so excited to try this place out as I was craving some cheesy pupusas. The place is a small restaurant and you are welcome to place an order for takeout. They keep the space clean, which is always a plus! The pupusas however were not as flavorful as I would have liked. The curtido was good and the hot sauce definitely helped to give the pupusas some much needed flavor. This place was ok but I would not go out of my way to come back.

It was pretty terrible. Also kid working counter was pretty rude and not interested in our visit at all. Only giving it one star because you can't leave zero stars. Bland food, slaw tasted old, tamales were almost 100% masa. Pretty awful from the food to the service.

Great Little spot I have been driving by for years finally stopped in for some pupusas. 1 Dollar each served with cabbage we grabbed some yuca fries and chicharon also - for 1 dollar the pupusas were excellent I just love Yuca fries and they were cooked to perfection and plenty hot when served the chicharon was cooked perfectly crispy and a little crackle when biting into it .. WOW I'm thinking that's the way I like my bacon. From the road the exterior looks a little rough the interior is clean but dated the restrooms are small but were spotless. The service could have been better although the family was very friendly we will be returning and the drive will served us well when ordering pupusas on the go .

First time trying this Salvadoreño place's food and it was great. Love how they make everything fresh when you order it. This is a great hidden place to eat at or pick up. Friendly service, not expensive at all. If you like homemade Salvadoreña food try this restaurant out. Will not disappoint.

Very slow service, I tried calling and the phone number didn't work which should have been a sign. Ordered inside to go and he had me pull up in the drive thru just for me to wait over 20 min for 4 Pupusas. Even the people behind me drove off because the service was so slow. The food was excellent but customer service needs to be better.

HIDDEN GEMJust finished up here and sitting in the parking lot at 3:50 pm on Sunday 2/28/16. HOLY MOLY, this little place is fantastic!I chose it while looking through Yelp for something different after popping into Northeast Mall, and I couldn't be more pleased.First let me address points hit in previous reviews:Excellent service, and despite being packed, I waited all of maybe 6-10 minutes for my piping hot, fresh, homemade meal. It's 80 degrees today, and it was almost too cold from the a/c inside the establishment. (This is saying something because I think I'm pre-menopausal at the tender age of 44, lean toward the beefy side, and am quick to get overheated.) Any issues with temperature are resolved, apparently.Decor is quaint, with a few waxed fruit pieces hanging around, flags on the wall, mirrors along the back strip to enlarge the space, bright white walls with light gray near the lower quarter. No thick swaths of blue paint anywhere. Tables spaced well apart, clean tile floors, all but two tables were full with families. I grabbed one of two free tables - otherwise was at capacity (small - size of an old DQ or med/largish donut shop).Everyone I encountered speaks English. Didn't have to point at the menu. And those are tamales, not 'tamals.' That's a typo on their menu.Nothing is priced over about $8. They have a drive through and also serve at least one breakfast plate that's on the menu all day. There's a breakfast menu on the wall with the more familiar breakfast tacos & bagels/cream cheese as well, which is brilliant because it's across the street from an elementary school so parents can feed Junior on the way in.I'm definitely no ethnic food connoisseur, but I gotta say, yeah, that sweet corn tamale was bad ass. The pork tamale was great, too (as noted, corn exterior is solid yet steamed(?) so well it's buttery/creamy when eaten), as was the bean and cheese papusa (recommended by the elderly gentleman who took my order - said they were spot on). The pork skin papusa was OK, but I honestly thought it might have been a different kind of bean papusa because of the texture and neutral flavor. Finally decided it was indeed pork. Never had a papusa or pork skin, so unsure how they rank. The slaw on the side is fab! Not covered in detectable vinegar, but it's likely there - what stands out are the red pepper flakes that make it sing & give interest. My bill was a whopping $6.50, and I couldn't eat all of it. 1 bottle of water, 2 papusas, slaw side accompaniment, pork (skin) and sweet corn tamales. Tip them well, friends.

The guy attending is the rudest he could be. If he picks a table before attending you he does not wash his hands. If I was able to leave no stars I would cause it was horrible service. The food comes out hot but flavor could be better. No type of music building has been the same for years now new updates. A side of fries 6.50 yes 6.50
