Casa El Torito Authentic Mexican Food

We made reservations at this place for a birthday breakfast celebration for a party of 13 @10:30am. Upon arriving, they will not greet you at the door nor sit you unless you go to the register towards the back which we initially did not know. Once seated, they brought out chips for our table and they have a self serve salsa bar which was great since there were so many varieties and flavors. To order, we were instructed to go back to the register to place our orders.I ordered the red chilaquiles as well as a coffee. To my great surprise, they had café de olla. It was delicious!! My chilaquiles came with beans and 2 eggs - beautifully presented but tasted just ok. I would consider going back to try something different off the menu.

Menudo was not good, taste lemony and spicy but no menudo flavor. The meat was hard and chewy. We asked for bread and it came with half a bread for 2 plates. Service is good lady in the front was attentive.

Chicken tacos were good. Service was ordering at the front instead of being waited on. The beans were very mushy, seemed watered down way too far. Rice was no good, there was a rock hard piece or two in every bite, so I did not finish the other half of it. The chairs and tables were nice, and the bottled sodas were good, but a bit overpriced. Probably not somewhere I'd seek out to return, but I wouldn't be stubbornly against.

This is a very clean, appealing space. The beef fajitas were good, reasonably priced, and very fresh. Missing some of the usual accompaniments like pico and sour cream, but generous portions of rice, beans, and guacamole. This is really not Tex-Mex, but we are looking forward to trying some of the unfamiliar but appetizing-sounding menu items.Glad to have tried this place. We will be going back.

First time at El Torito. We were greeted with a smile upon entering. You go to the register to place your order. The server was very friendly and allowed us to decide what we wanted to try for lunch.The have a salsa bar where you can choose from several salsas. We tried them all. I liked the avocado salsa and the regular red salsa. We ordered the carne asada huarache, the taco plate, and chicken fajita plate. Each was very good and had lots of flavor. Our lunch was enjoyed by all and we will be back to try different dishes.

Hmmm it's ok, slow service and really expensive I don't hate the food just not worth the price. The green salsa is the best one they serve

This is not your tex-max restaurant but authentic Mexican deliciousness. Everything was served piping hot. The refried beans were some of the best I've had. Perfect portion sizes. Owners were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

The chilaquiles were amazing and the asada on top had great flavor. The salsa bar was clean, and the restaurant is welcoming. The pozole was a good size and had great flavor too. The service was great and she recommended the two dishes we got and she did not disappoint. I highly recommended. No complaints coming here.

Ordered Burger,Burrito and Burristo taco. All was excellent. Sauce bar was great. Grill jalapeño! The order taker/cashier was very knowledgeable about food. Help to place order. Very helpful in making order right. Service great. Restaurant was very clean. Did not get his name.
