I'm so sorry to have to leave this review but this was by far the worst Caribbean food I've had. The rice in the rice and peas was gummy and no flavor, the spinach was soupy and tasteless, the cabbage was under cooked and again flavorless the curry chicken lacked curry, was watery and overcooked. My BFF got the same except she got jerk chicken and the jerk chicken was a little better but not by much. The vegetables were the same. If I could them less than one star I would. Needless to say I asked for a full refund and it was given. It's in the Dallas Farmers market so it's an open seating concept.

Whenever I need a fix for some good Caribbean food downtown I head here. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. And the food can be a tad bit pricey for the quantity/portion size (not all items but a couple things like the jerky chicken ) but its worth it becuase it's delicious

Service and food were great. Loved the space they're in, and the ambiance of the collective shops and food. Beef patties hit. Oxtails hit. The only qualms would be the rice n peas weren't the best.

first off let me say, that since i've left the east coast.. i have not had a proper roti. i had the vegetarian roti, and it was heaven. i only got one because my partner and i had already enjoyed the spoils of the farmers market. but i wish we would've bought two!!! the other two things i wanted to try was the macaroni pie & doubles. unfortunately, they were out of both... but no worries, i will be back!!! the service was nice, at carribean restaurants the staff are typically chill. this spot is located in a dining hall, so it's extremely loud (for those with sensory sensitivities). they are also on doordash. after the first bite, i was sold. from that point, i am an official customer. ps. i also got the rum punch (something i miss terribly about new york events) i would say that the frozen rum punch was bit too sweet and it tastes like it was sweetened with sweet n low. i would recommend staying away from that, unless sweet n low is your jam!! this is trini food, not jamaican. please put some respect on their culture & cuisine. i've seen a lot of ppl calling it "jamaican" oxtails... lol. that red, white, & black flag they proudly hang is trinidadian

I have been coming here for years. So I'm really not understanding why this past Sunday 11/17 they forgot my 2orders of doubles, the roti was underwhelming and crumbly and the curry chicken plate was the worst I've had. Like how is chicken mush but dry? The best thing I tasted off my plate was the spinach and a beef patty. Spending $80 to be so disappointed and unsatisfied was shocking. I'm going to request a refund for this meal, and I think it'll be a while before I come back. If they were open today I'd be taking them the food back cause it's not being eaten in this house!

Had to stop by here to try their drinks! This place is located inside the Dallas Farmer's Market and has plenty of food to offer. However, we were a bit full from lunch, so just decided to try their refreshing drinks. We asked the server what the best flavor was, and he suggested that we try a mix of the mango and the sorrel. I am super glad we did, because it was SO GOOD.Drink $4.50: This was well worth it. I wish they had a larger size. It was so refreshing and sweet. I have never tried sorrel before, so it was definitely a great experience! Will be back to try the soursop!Overall, this is purely a review for the drinks, but if the drink was this great, I am sure the food was as well! See you next time I am in Texas!

I always wanted to try some halal jerk chicken and I was visiting so I thought to check this place out. I definitely think I got the wrong thing, because it was alright, not as hyped as the reviews made it seem, but I would definitely need to try more menu items to confirm. The jerk chicken wasn't saucy, seemed dry, wasn't very flavorful. The sandwich was HUGE though, lol I wanted something light and this monster of a beast came out haha. But glad I tried it though. If I'm ever in Dallas again I'll come check it out again.

First time trying this place. I got the jerk chicken with rice and peas, Mac and cheese, and cabbage. The chicken was just ok. Nothing About it made me say wow'! It was tender but something was lacking in the seasoning. The rice and peas had 0 flavor. The cabbage was equally disappointing. However, the Mac and cheese was exceptional! The beef patty was otherworldly!!! Because of this, I'll give it another try. The employees were super nice as well.

Made a quick decision to find a meal at the Farmers Market. I kept eyeing this Caribbean spot, and decided to try. The guy at the register was very welcoming, and informative. He also recommended a few meals. Even though, I was not looking to spend $35, I had to try the Oxtail plate. I do not regret my decision at all!! Every thing was perfectly cooked and seasoned. So flavorful! Definitely will be coming back!
