Cafe Nubia is a charming gem nestled on Rosemede, sharing a plaza with GVO. I was pleasantly surprised to discover a restaurant of this caliber in the area. Seamlessly blending Mediterranean and African culinary traditions, Cafe Nubia offers a refined and flavorful dining experience.For dinner, I indulged in the blackened salmon, expertly seasoned with Cajun butter and served alongside perfectly grilled vegetables and a side of my choice. Opting for spinach, I enjoyed a delightful balance of fresh, vibrant flavors. My companion chose the Rasta Pasta, which was equally impressive. To complement my meal, I sipped on a glass of wine and was delighted by a complimentary pour of champagne--a thoughtful touch that elevated the experience.Beyond the exceptional cuisine, Cafe Nubia boasts a warm, inviting ambiance with live music, making it an ideal destination for a date night or an intimate evening out. I attended a sister gathering here this past Wednesday and I must say that I was impressed and truly had a phenomenal time. I enjoy intimate settings and the timeframe that we picked to go was right up my alley. Which was between 7:30-8:00pm. Drinks:S/O to Mike the Bar Tender! I had the flexibility of ordering a Mocktail! I informed him what I wanted and he sealed the deal! Almost everyone at the table ordered what I asked for and the Mocktail was a hit! If you decide to check this place out and want a good Mocktail ask Mike for the Ms. P It's really the Hoeny Love with a Twist and no alcohol, but I'm sure you'll have a great laugh! Food:I am a pasta girlie and the Rasta Pasta was just the right spice and flavor to make my taste buds do the happy dance! For that matter after looking at everyone's food, I knew that I would definitely be back! The aroma filled our table and I'm looking forward to trying a new dish thr next time I go! Atmosphere:The establishment offered a pleasingly lit ambiance that met my expectations for a romantic evening. I highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or date night; its atmosphere is exceptional and creates a unique and enjoyable experience. I intend to revisit soon.The dining experience, encompassing food quality, service, and ambiance, was highly satisfactory. Let's talk about the CAFE NUBIA EXPERIENCE I got last month. Me & my party waited an hour before a server came to our table. We had to wait for "shift change between the servers" around 6pm. Received spinach dip with few broken chips. My anger's man burger was burnt as hell. It tasted like charcoal. The rest of my parties food was COLD. We sent everything back. I didn't trust to get food from them anymore. This restaurant was the worst service and food I received in a VERY long time. I will never come back. This place is only good for cocktails and vibes. You have been warned.

The food, was surprisingly good. Service the girl was excellent and I very good help. The Ambulance was good. I love the picture on the wall. Parking sucks

Cafe Nubia is a cute space. I love the decor and ambiance. The seating, colors, bar area and photo opportunities are nice. I wanted to love them, but they fell short and the overall experience was slightly disappointing.Ambiance 5 STARSInside and outside patio area ver nice!Service 4 STARSWaitress was nice and pleasant.Cocktails 3 STARS YUMMY and presentation was nice. Didn't taste liquor though. Food 2 STARS I am a foodie. This food was boring and not the best. Chicken wasn't seasoned well. Was DRY and lack luster. Overall 3 STARSI am happy to have tried and supported an up and coming business. However, I would only go back for cocktails and music, Dallas is a tough market. They need to step up the quality.

Love this place! I went on a Saturday night - the vibes were amazing. I loved the live music and the DJ later on in the evening. I look forward to coming back and trying the food on my 2nd visit. I had eaten dinner prior so I was only there for drinks, but the drinks were impressive. I had a strawberry lemon drop - highly recommend. Our server was so kind and welcoming. Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful establishment! We sat at the bar and you can tell a lot of effort was put into the style of the restaurant. Food: The lamb sliders were not seasoned at all and the calamari could have been cooked longer. Service: I could write a detailed story on the service but long story short it was ridiculous and people who sat after us continued to be served before us (specifically the men). It was as if she didn't want to service us at all. As a previous server from this one experience training is needed! Overall: Not sure I would return.

My first time at Cafe Nubia. Food was good. Service was good. Band and DJ was excellent. I will def be back.

Vibe and ambience was good. Only thing I enjoyed was the chicken wings. I tried the oxtails and literally had oxtail bones without meat. The drinks tasted different every order.

I played with the band tonite and it was really busy! And Ms Brittney Ellison took care of my needs immediately and made sure my drink was nice!! She is the "ONLY" Bartender I want and need taking care of me going forward
