They let us know about the ethics of avocado harvesting and why there was an increase in their guacamole prices. It was great to hear their commitment to using fair trade and ethically sourced avocados. We wandered around some more after chatting with the workers and ended up back here for lunch. Took a seat on the shaded patio- no sweat for us during the quick and unusual summer rainstorm. Just one vegan friendly (no quest) taco but it was tasty w the homemade corn tortilla. I started with Mexican Watermelon Water, which comes in a BIG glass and the right amount of ice. It's so good and smooth . I had to hold off drinking it down because it was going to help me wash down Lunch. The Quesabirria was amazing, it was amazing. It was not overcooked, and the tacos came with a side of cilantro, pickled onions, and regular onions. It's so good to dip your taco in the soup and go to town. The soup was amazing also. It also comes with a red and green hot sauce. Now, both come with a lot of heat and lots of flavor. If you can take the heat, go for it. So good. The #7 was three tacos, either corn or flour. I decided to go with the carnitas. Each taco was filled just right, and the dish came with cilantro, onions, and, of course, the Red and Green hot sauce. The side dishes of rice and beans. It was so good, filling, and, of course, went down great with the Watermelon drink. I highly recommend this place... just go... and enjoyI will be back."

The outdoor patio is pretty large, and they have a corn hole area as well.Service: The service was friendly, but slow. I ordered a 6 piece Moreno Taco Plate (birria tacos) with fries (not captured) and I can truly say these are some of the best birria tacos that I've had so far. Piping hot still too. I was very impressed. I dove into the Carne Asada Fries which is a HUGE portion. It's loaded with beans, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, and of course Carne Asada. It was out of this world good! That Carne Asada was so flavorful. I didn't realize how big the burrito was going to be. Just be aware that a burrito is the size of an entire meal. Of course I ordered the Carne Asada burrito. Absolutely loved that it was thinner So Cal style tortilla. Stayed hot the entire time and packed so full of big chunks of Carne Asada. I love my Texas but miss some of the food from Cal. So if you know what I'm talking about....here's your place!"
