"GLUTEN FREE SUSHI HEREI just want to make that clear and easy for others to find because it is such a struggle to find sushi that is labeled as gluten free in DFW. We came to Oishii on a whim, after finding ourselves in Dallas and craving sushi. We used to go to Sushi Zushi years ago, but its closed and we did not know where else we could trust. We found Oishii on Yelp and saw the menu had gluten free labeled, so we went. Not having a reservation, they sat us at the bar. Sonya, the bartender was very friendly and attentive to us. We had ever roll labeled gluten free plus I had a bowl of pho. Everything was good. Even when they forgot the rare beef in my pho, and I did not realize it right away, they brought it and a bowl of fresh hot broth to cook it in. All around, great food and service. If we find ourselves back in Dallas, we will be sure to come back!"

"This is a review for vegetarian options in sushi: We got the vegetable roll and vegetable tempura roll, both are on the menu and they were good! The service is great with casual ambiance. Loved our time here!"
"The place is not only adorable but the food was delicious! I've had a top favorite sushi place for the past 4 years and this is the only place that has been able to top it! The portions were large and we only ate about half of our meals. 10/10"
"Food and drink was outstanding. I did not take enough pics....got pulled into conversation and drinks. The atmosphere was vibrant and the staff was attentive and answered all of our questions.Really very good experience all around. Absolutely will be back!"
"This is my 3rd time coming here , and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance is serene and inviting, with a modern yet cozy décor that immediately sets a relaxed tone. The sushi itself was nothing short of spectacular. Every piece was fresh, expertly crafted, and bursting with flavor. The variety on the menu catered to both traditional sushi lovers and those looking for something more innovative.Service was prompt and attentive without being intrusive. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and were happy to make recommendations based on our preferences.Additionally, the pricing was reasonable considering the quality and presentation of the food. For those who appreciate a great sushi experience. Its definitely worth a visit. I'll certainly be returning soon!"
"If you never had the very famous hybrid Italian/San Francisco Cioppino seafood soup you are very much missing out. It is absolutely one of my all time favorite dishes and I never really care about the super high price Cioppino is a very rich sea food soup, made with clams, mussels, scallops, white fish and shrimp. Some restaurants will add crab legs depending on the season. All of that is cooked in a tomato, white wine, fennel broth which taste like pure heaven. When I travel, this and ramen is a dish I seriously search out! Pacific table did a wonderful job on their version of the wonderful recipe! Going to be my new go to hang out. Love the vibe and service of this place."
"Was recommended this place from Arlington Foodies, specifically their happy hour, and it was fantastic. Going during happy hour is SO worth it - rolls and some other food options are also on happy hour in addition to some drinks. We were able to walk out of there with a very reasonable bill, and we had multiple drinks and rolls. We'll definitely be back!"
"This place is amazing! It's a sushi buffet, but they offer so much more. We came here during lunch on a Friday weekday and were immediately seated in a booth. Our drink orders were taken and we were off to the buffet. The buffet has about five different stations:1) Sushi - One of the long aisles is filled with plates of sushi. Salmon and tuna served in a variety of different ways along with some other sushi staples. Plates are located below the bar. Some sections of the sushi bar have signs requesting that you take no more than 3 pieces. I'm assuming that this is so that someone doesn't hog an entire plate of salmon at once, but it also prevents food from being wasted. There was no soup nazi hovering over us, so I'm not sure anyone is really enforcing this policy. It seems to be more a courtesy request. 2) Salad items - The next long aisle is filled with salads, fruits, and vegetables. These items are all cold. There were things like broccoli salad, grilled okra and peppers, edamame, mussels, etc. The seaweed salad and the green bean salad were my favorite. My husband loved the kimchi. 3) Hot items - The last long aisle is filled with hot dishes. Chicken, steak, shrimp, gyoza, dumplings, etc. I liked the fried egg roll and fried gyoza best. 4) Soups - There is a small station filled with a variety of hot soups. I didn't try any of these, but there were several options available. 5) Desserts - There was a small station filled with a variety of desserts. I didn't try any of these either, but the selection didn't disappoint. After you finish a plate, the server will be by to remove it so you can fill up another in its place. The servers were fantastic. They filled our beverages without us ever asking. We were never without a drink. Food quality varies. The sushi was quite good in my opinion. The meat on the hot aisle seemed a bit rubbery and chewy to me. My husband had a hard time pulling apart the shell of the shrimp and was so frustrated with the process. He said it was a lot of work for such a small piece of meat, but the taste was good. Lunch is $25.95 per person Monday through Friday. It's $46 per person for dinner. It's not cheap, but if you are craving an unlimited supply of sushi and you have an appetite, this is the place to come."
"Bf and I come here it feels like once a week in the past several months. Get the giant sushi burrito! You won't regret it. Maybe your waistline will, but your taste buds will love you for it haha.We do a to-go order frequently - one burrito each, and boy oh boy. It is packed full of deliciousness. Creamy avocado, fresh and delicious salmon/tuna/crab mix, etc. And those sushirritos are thiiicccccc. As in I get full off just a half, but still want to keep eating because the flavors are such a joy for my mouth.I normally foist the other half onto my bf's plate. Inevitably, though, I reach back out for a few more bites lol. We'll eventually try other items on their menu, but for now we are lovvvinnng their giant sushi burrito. :)"
"Stellar service. Great food. Awesome selection. Loved the feel. Good music in the background. Absolutely recommend."
"This evening I met my best friend and his soon to be wife for a late lunch/early dinner. As they are in town for the weekend, I wanted to show them what I considered to be what is one of DFW's most scenic restaurants. Sitting right atop of Lake Carolyn's beautiful waterfront, Pacific Table has a beautiful and inviting ambiance. The hostess was absolutely lovely, professional, and attentive. Without a reservation we were sat quickly. The service was excellent. Louis was ultra professional. He demonstrated an excellent demeanor, knowledge of the menu, and candor that were reminiscent of some of the places I used to be a GM of. Places that were 3X more the price. Excellent service. Post dinner, the bar service has been incredible. Zoey and Julia, demonstrate professionalism, are quick on their feet, and an uncanny ability to multitask. The bar is excellent, and no wonder it's "full."Anyone looking for an excellent dining experience in Las Colinas, should come here. This restaurant has actually been a factor of mine to move from Turtle Creek in Dallas, to here."

This sushi spot is definitely in my top 5 in Dallas. It was soooo good and I got full really fast. The pictures I've posted with this review are the top rolls I like from here. The food came out fast. My server was so sweet. I forgot to get her name and the ambiance is casual. It's people there but it's not too loud. I will definitely be back.

Shiawase came highly recommended! The fish was incredibly fresh, the prices were just as delightful, and our waitress was top-notch. They even made our Valentine's date (and 30th Wedding Anniversary) extra special by shaping our rolls into a heart--such a fun and thoughtful touch. We truly appreciate the effort they put into making our night memorable!

Eric R.'s parents treated us to a delicious meal here the night before my birthday. I made reservations a few weeks in advance since I have waited years to eat here. Tei-An is one of my favorite restaurants of all time, so I knew its sister would be just as amazing. Our server Zoe was very kind and helpful throughout the meal. I ordered Asahi on draft, Eric R. got hot green tea, and his mom ordered unfiltered nigori sake (she wanted sweet sake, but did not end up liking the idea of "milky sweet"). I tasted the sake and thought it was nice and smooth. His parents started with fried oysters, and Eric R. and I got the baby yellowtail carpaccio. We shared assorted vegetable tempura next, which had purple sweet potato, green beans, maitake mushrooms, and shishito peppers. Next we had the beef on hot rock where we each cooked slices of beef. That was fun and interactive. I ordered the octopus leg robata imagining it would be on a stick like we had in Japan, but it was actually sliced very thinly and served with yuzu kosho. I liked this a lot because the slices were tender and easy to chew but had a strong grilled flavor. I had never had octopus prepared like this before. Eric R. and his parents shared the baby back ribs since I do not eat pork. They seemed very tender.I ordered the yaki onigiri with yuzu kosho and shared that with Eric R. and his mom. It was a flavorful grilled rice ball with yuzu kosho served with daikon and cucumber pickles topped with bonito flakes. Our sushi course came last. I enjoyed Hokkaido uni gunkan and Spanish mackerel nigiri. Eric R. and his mom had Hokkaido scallop nigiri. We shared three rolls: negi toro maki, spicy tuna maki, and rainbow roll with real crab. The negi toro was soooooo fatty and delicious! This was a very delicious and special meal. Itadakimasu!

Came here Sunday around noon. I was quickly greeted and seated. The service was excellent, staff were very friendly. The sizzling dumplings were sizzling for real. Good amount of filling and very flavorful. The salmon poke bowl was a generous portion, everything tasted fresh.

Well, sometimes I am right on top of a great new restaurant opening, and sometimes I am way late to the party. Today was a case of the latter. Is there a support group out there for Yelpers like me? LOL. Anywho, this restaurant which is tucked remarkably comfortably back in the northwest corner of University Park Village is typical of what we have come to expect from Felipe Armenta in terms of decor, ambiance, vibe, and cuisine...a gem. Everything we have come to expect from his venues is at work here. Surprisingly for a location such as this in an urban shopping center, there is a lovely patio area that transports you from an urban shopping center to maybe a coastal desert restaurant patio on the Southern California coast with the ocean just beyond the patio's wall.Being old timers we began with a shared bowl of the clam chowder. The rendering of this dish here is remarkable. I have had two other offerings in the last couple of weeks at FTW restaurants we enjoy. Both good. But this version here at PT is off the chain. I can't believe I didn't put my glasses on to examine the chowder more closely as it contained some colors and shapes I'm not used to seeing in chowder. But I was hungry, my glasses were in my jeans pocket, and I figured I could ask our fine server, Saul. Which, of course, I failed to do. Some minced broccoli? Anyway the flavors were clammy, robust, lovely, and the perfectly sized cubed potatoes were perfectly cooked; tender and not the least bit overcooked and mushy. A++ on this chowder. We shared as well the entree, Trout Almandine. This was as great a preparation of this dish as we've ever enjoyed. It was accompanied today by sautéed spinach. The fresh spinach was laced with small slivers of crisp Napa cabbage sautéed along with the spinach in olive oil / butter? a bit of onion perhaps and fresh garlic? It was finished with a sprinkling of fresh, finely crumbled parm stirred in. The spinach could not have been sautéed more perfectly. Dunno if you have ever sautéed spinach, but it's NOT easy to cook without totally wilting it into a mushy mess. I Know. This is done superbly. We're going back soon to do this same meal! LOL. There are so many great offerings on the menu. But we're gonna do this again!

"This is my favorite spot for sushi rolls in Arlington. I've been going here before they changed their name. None of the rolls disappoint, I've liked all the ones I've tried. Avocado bomb is good, so are the little fried (spring) egg rolls. Miso soup and chicken fried rice is good too. Staff is always friendly. Great place if you're looking for a quick lunch or dinner."
"I had an amazing birthday dinner at Uchiba, and I can't recommend it enough! We opted for the happy hour omakase, and the meal did not disappoint--each dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The ambiance is perfect for a special occasion, whether it's a romantic date or a night out with friends. The setting is chic yet inviting, making it a great spot for any celebration. While Uchiba is known for its sushi, they offer a variety of other dishes for those who aren't as into raw fish, and the servers were incredibly helpful in guiding us to options we'd enjoy. Their attention to detail and customer service really stood out.The only downside during our visit was some ongoing construction nearby, which caused a bit of inconvenience with parking. However, Uchiba offers complimentary valet service, though it's definitely a good idea to add a bit of extra time to your arrival and departure to avoid any delays. Despite this small hiccup, the experience was overall fantastic, and I'll definitely be back for another celebration!"
"Small setting with delicious ramen and great small bite choices! It's definitely a place you would visit for a quick lunch!"
"Best Sushi in DFW ...and that's not just hyperbole! Tucked in the modest food court...Sushi Spot's offerings are anything but modest. The fish is fresh, the service is excellent and the presentation is absolutely impeccable!Had the Hot Night roll yesterday and it was delicious, looked great and great value for money."
"You can't beat the sushi tacos! They are amazing. My kids loved the food and the staff is very friendly"
"Great food, service, and selectionBYOBCan make reservations on Google mapseverything is very freshTop valueenjoy"
"Yesterday, we celebrated a fun birthday at Sakana Sushi, and it was an incredible experience! We ordered a variety of dishes, including the rainbow roll, salmon rolls, seaweed salad, dancing fire roll, udon, ramen, spicy edamame, spicy tuna tower, and tempura. Every single item was good and service was helpful and kind..One standout was the fresh wasabi, definitely a must-try if you're dining here! It adds an extra layer of flavor you didn't know you needed."
"Nori Sushi is a hidden gem in Lewisville, and let me tell you, it does not disappoint! From the moment you walk in, the friendly and polite staff make you feel like you've just joined the VIP sushi club. Now, let's talk food: the veggie tempura was so perfectly crisp it deserves its own applause, and the deep-fried California roll? A golden masterpiece that practically melted in my mouth. If you're in the area and your taste buds are begging for a treat, swing by Nori Sushi. Delicious food, stellar service, and a vibe that hits all the right notes--what more could you ask for?"
"Everything went perfectly. Easy parking in the shared lot. Immediately seated, greeted and the sweetest server waited on us. She was pleasant and efficient. The restaurant was clean and well staffed. The food was brought immediately and absolutely delicious. 5 stars."
"Excellent! Ambiance is great, food is great! The all you can eat buffet has so many good choices - seared salmon is a must-try!"
"Second time here. I was wary of the concept at first, but it works very well. If you don't know, it is all you can eat, but there are servers that take your order and deliver your order, unless it's the robot server! You are limited to three picks per order. Service is prompt enough that this is not a problem. Food is quite good, and sushi, sashimi and rolls taste fresh. Some items are only available on the dinner menu, which is more expensive than the lunch menu. Also I think something is new from my first visit; items that carry an additional charge. All in all, I've enjoyed both visits. I don't typically go for all you can eat, because I don't eat much, but I did like both Tim e s here.Note: On weekends the only menu is the more expensive dinner menu. I didn't know this, but I did enjoy the extra options, mostly sashimi. Oh, and some food is delivered by robot. The server takes items off the robot for you, but it's fun to watch. Inside is rather compartmentalized, so it's possible to have a more intimate dinning experience, as opposed to the giant buffet places."
"Good sushi, good service. Tucked away so may be a bit hard to find and smaller interior but one of my favorite places to stop before my class. Will definitely return"
"Great restaurant with the ambiance and very good sushi and presentation. Korean music is always fun and a nice touch even though it is a Japanese bistro. I enjoyed every bit of the night except the Chicken Teriyaki was extremely salty. But the sushi was beautifully plated and fresh. I thought the prices were very fair and average for what you would expect to pay at a sushi restaurant. Overall, an excellent addition to Arlington.. non descript location on South Cooper but rest assured to support this family business. Good sushi for sure."
"The experience was awesome...went for Happy Hour and deals were good. Food was very tasty and the service was great...sat in the bar area and the atmosphere was fun...recommend"
"Food is always good from the bento box to the habachi plates and the sushi so far I have been very pleased with not only flavors but portions as well. Hokkaido offers a variety of wines and beers. Music can be a bit on the loud side. The servers have never been pleasant nor welcoming everyone seems unhappy. The food does not disappoint sole reason why I continue to come."
"Amazing food! The potions are huge, the prices are good considering. The flavors of everything were so delicious. Definitely one of the best hibachi restaurants I've ever been to in my life. The server was very attentive as well. Wish I lived closer because I would go all the time but I live an hour away. Will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area though!"
"We always order to go, so I can't review how dine in service is but the sushi is always super yummy and fresh. This is our favorite sushi spot and we've tried almost all of them in our local areas. I love all the ginger they include. You must try the Geisha roll!!"
"I really enjoy Sushi Axiom. The place seems to be kind of classy but no problem going in shorts and a t-shirt. One side is the regular restaurant while the other is a Hibachi restaurant. We have only been on the regular side.To start with, their cocktails are FANTASTIC. Every martini I've had here has been great. For the food, the appetizers and sushi rolls have been very good. The service each time we have been here has been all that we could ask for.Great cocktails, food, and service all combined to make this a very enjoyable place. That's why we keep coming back."
"Appetizers. My family and I will literally go here for their appetizers and that's it, but food is sooooo good no matter what you get. We usually get other things like combination fried rice and sushi rolls, but I forgot to take those pics. Anyways hands down best in the area that I know of. Next time I go I'll grab more pics!"
"Solid sushi spot in southlake and reasonably priced too. Not to mention dog friendly and service here is pretty quick too. Their volcano scallop roll is the best one. The fried mushrooms are worth a try but if you're getting anything fried here it's gotta be the shrimp"
"FOR WHAT IT IS, it's pretty solid. Not the best in the world: The sushi is good enough, the grilled/fried section exceeds, and the service was good! Also very nice and clean. We really liked that you can order plates now!For the area, it's the best All You can eat, and the price is great value."
"This is so good! Mind you I ordered on DoorDash and it's still delectable. I got a crunchy salmon roll 10/10 so intricate and layered but so good. I also got the sushi F roll which is a salmon based combo roll and also so rich and good."
"Open parking lotReflexology next door. Such a great date night or day lolI'm doing an Elle Geraway snack before I go get my feet rubbed .I get the miso soup, guyoza, and chardonnay. I call it my #MomSnack here. Everything under $10The service is always great and I sit at the bar like a grown up. I love the soup and I like the guyoza. No matter how I want them cooked, they o ly fry the top. So if u like dumplings, these are for you. The meal goes well together and the chardonnay just matches. I just had a baby a few months ago, so sometimes I run away and do this. But sometimes I bring the family too. we were here for hibachi for my bday . both my kids love it. And they do the cutest birthday show."
