"In the area from out of town on our anniversary, and found this amazing place for brunch. First of all hopefully you get Mandy as your server, she is fabulous! I had the carne asada omelette, the streak was grilled to perfection and the egg was very fluffy. Paired with the cheese and peppers it was delicious! My wife got the chicken schnitzel special, all I can say is I hope this gets added to the menu! We also had a side of biscuits with the fig jam, I wanted a bottle of that jam. Everything here is scratch made and it shows. We sat out on the patio with the beer tap waterfall, and fireplace, it was a perfect setting for a lovely brunch with my wife."

They rarely came by with the good cuts of meat. I kept getting the edges, which were salty as hell! Then, they promised lamb for both, but only brought out a sole tint piece of it. To say that the thing I most enjoyed was the salmon and meats and cheeses from the salad bar. Very disappointing, I expected better food."

"I originally found this steakhouse on a random google search when my fiancé and I visited Dallas 3 years ago, and I'm so glad I stumbled across it! Everything from the crab cake lollipops, sides, and my favorite: the beef wellington is immaculately prepared. Of course the bill is pricey, but that is the expectation when dining at an upscale restaurant. The complimentary valet parking, the elevator entrance, the piano, and the waterfall all give this restaurant that extra push towards a lavish experience. If the food wasn't reason enough to come here, the staff is just as incredible. Everyone is helpful and goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs. They decorated the table for our anniversary, took lots of photos for us, and even ran after us when I left a souvenir I purchased earlier behind at our table. Whenever we have family in town and we want to make them feel like royalty, we take them to Dakota's."

"The food was solid. Unlike most places; your bread, polenta, and bananas/plantains are in the buffet area with a lot of other items which are self served. But here's a small story. Hungry. Angry. Hangry! That is the mood I got myself into after not eating for so long. The husband and I decided to drop by here at 4:00 without realizing that they didn't open for another hour so we kill time by going to Dillard's down the street. Once waiting and getting here the ambiance was quaint. Not too warm, and not too cold! You'll need a light jacket if you're running on the frigid side. Were greeted by our server Adelino and that was one of the last times seeing him besides him dropping and picking up the check. Everyone else was solid; the food? Delicious. A little salty but it works out. There's a nice fat cap on a bunch of the items so it retains that extra flavor and juiciness. But why the 3 stars raj? There was a server with an electric fly swatter and he was doing it over and around the bar where drinks were being sent out. Please by the love of god do that not in service and in front of guests. I suppose what really got me and rubbed me the wrong way was of an auto gratuity when it was just a simple date night between eyad and I. If I hadn't had seen it, I would've tipped the average 25%. But oh well, you lose some and the server definitely lost that extra 5%. -should shrug- we paid and left but just be cautious and weary."

One, for a group of 4 or less. Quite another, for anything larger.This restaurant with it's seating and service is tiller made for small groups. You're treated well, you're cool and comfortable, the ambience (in the outer room) and very homey and pleasant. And the food is phenomenal. One of the managers, Angela, is an absolute gem and one of our favorite people in the industry. I think they have the best burgers in the DFW (a hotly contested category). They remind me of a blast from the past - Fuddruckers.For 4 people or less, they are a five star establishment."

"This was the highlight of our trip to Texas! We were meeting a friend who lives in Burkbennet and this was a good halfway point between there and Dallas to meet. And it was very Texas! Decatur is a really cute small town, there wasn't much open on Sunday but I would leave time to walk around if visiting. The service was incredible, our drinks were consistently refilled without ever feeling intrusive. The menu is simple but I would love to be able to try more! I loved the flavored butter on my filet. The vegetables were very fresh, definitely not canned. I wish I had gotten the squash side, it looked amazing! The wedge salad is a very good size, most dishes come with 2 sides and a roll. I had the pecan pie that came with homemade whipped cream for dessert. This place would be a reason for me to go back to Texas! It was the only place we found that had actual soul to it (most of our time was spent in Dallas suburbs)."

"Trying to get to this place took over 45 mins when it was suppose to be 5 mins. It has been one of the Hallmark Christmas places I've seen and apparently the entire city and travelers come out to see it. This night, there was a drone light show and the streets were filled, roads were blocked-- complete nightmare. I almost gave up, but there were people waiting for me at the restaurant and I finally arrived to the dedicated parking lot reserved for Dino's. When I get there, I head upstairs, very rustic and old steak house vibes. Wine was already served, so I get a glass poured. We chat, appetizers come out, and salads. Everything was very delicious. The main course, the steak was like butter. I ordered an old fashioned. Single ice cube, perfectly crafted. We had chocolate cake for dessert. Decadent, not too sweet. If I had this for my last meal, I'd be happy."

"We have passed Randy's several times and decided to give it a try. The ambiance is charming and our server Travis was great but overall, it was very overpriced for the value. Everything we ordered was just "ok". We started with the stuffed mushrooms and crab cakes. Though the crab cakes were pretty good, they were incredibly small (2 ounces according to the menu) and even though they state the size, for $26, it was pretty sad. Next up was a wedge and Caesar. The hubby liked the wedge but felt it was drenched in dressing. The Caesar was absolutely not a Caesar and was the most tasteless Caesar I have ever had. I could taste no dressing, the lettuce was soft, there were olives which made no sense. The large Parmesan "discs" added nothing and was stale tasting. For steaks we got the filet and ribeye. Both were cooked well but were again, "ok". I have had worst but I have definitely had better. Our side for our meal was the au gratin potatoes which was easily the least favorite dish of the night. It was various sized diced potatoes swimming in a loose and oily cheese sauce. Finally, we ended with the "famous" Jack Daniel's bread pudding. Sadly, the meal was not redeemed by this sweet ending. The alcohol flavor too strong and the bread too mushy. Nothing really famous or noteworthy. Overall, we left feeling we were glad we gave it a try but know we won't be returning. The ambiance and history is there. It was a shame that the quality of food the price was not."

Order: Filet 8oz grilled pineapple, Fried rice, Broccolini, Moscow mule. I have to say, the food is well prepared from cow to belly the steak was simply amazing. Well cut, cooked and served. The sides set the example of what a side should be. I tried the wine, absolutely stunning. The staff were top notch, the decor does not complement the quality of the steak and wine.
