Rajata K. "A quaint little breakfast spot in the gayborhood with a line out the door on a Friday morning must mean this place is good, right? Craving a solid meal and after getting -insert star emojis- PAID -insert more star emojis- I wandered down into the gayborhood of DFW, which I might add is about less than a mile from me. I've seen this place during the late party evenings but never during the day walker's shifts because I'm usually in bed and can't be bothered to leave it. Ask Eddie. It's true. I park my car right across the street from the bar windows to people watch, watch my car, and enjoy the brightness of the sun like an ancient Chinese grandpa while enjoying my glass of water. But I digress to the food. Touch down taco on corn - jalapeño wrapped bacon with eggs and smothered with cheese - I would probably ask them to melt the cheese a little bit but the flavor was stellar. Chef's favorite omelette - goat cheese, carmalized onions, mushrooms, brisket - flavors were lost for me. The mushrooms had texture and flavor that was absorbed by everything, you had the tang from the cheese, and the brisket didn't really do much. It was okay to say the least. Pancake - can't mess that up! For a single mini flap jack it was good."

"If you are looking for a good NY style slice in the DFW area you should do yourself a huge favor and check out Bay34th St. The slices are pretty close to what you get in NYC, they are sauced and cheesed excellently and the dough has the wonderful blend of crispy and chewy. They offer specialty pies if you're into that sort of thing, but you can't go wrong with the classic cheese or pepperoni. Ordered a few pies for a party and they arrived right on time. Excellent service and delicious pizza, what more can you ask for."

Amber C. "Let me start by saying that I have been to this place 5 times since early March!!... today is April 2nd. (Yes, I know... I have terrible eating habits)That should say a lot tho!Bottom line... absolutely give them a visit! So why did I give four stars instead of five you ask? Good question.I deducted one star for inconsistent performance. Three of the five times that I've visited have been phenomenal. Whereas the other two times have, unfortunately, missed the mark rather substantially.-The first time I went :I ordered a half pound of pork ribs, and a small side of mac & cheese. I literally made it three blocks before the wafting scent of smoky rib deliciousness won and I had to pull the car over and just chow down in the 7-Eleven parking lot. (I will say that the mac & cheese was just OK but MY mac & cheese is amazing so everything else basically fades in comparison!)-The second time I ordered:the food was just as good and luckily I made it all the way home. However I did decide to pass on the mac & cheese.Third time:I went on my lunch break and it was everything that I wanted it to be.. it hit that greasy spot and it just made me glad to live AND work rather close to such an amazing barbecue place (it's a catch 22, really)This is where it gets tricky because for weeks I had been raving to my friends and family about this barbecue place; how amazing the barbecue, how it's fall-off-the-bone tender, etc. Alas, I finally had a friend to join me for lunch and of course we decide it best if we go to Blus barbecue and on this day not only were the ribs incredibly tough to the point that we were not able to eat them but they were also incredibly over seasoned and I mean heavy heavy heavy on the pepper. I apologized to my friend I told her heyit's not normally like this she understood because she had been hearing me rave about these ribs and me being the picky person that I am she knew that it must just be a one off.The fifth time that I went which is the pictures that you see below the meat was fall off the bone tender I even explain explain to the cashier that my last experience was definitely subpar he apologize and threw in a spare rib. But as you can see the ribs were definitely fall off the fall off the bone tinder however they were not seasoned well and they just didn't have that you know like it's almost as if they may have been boiled or some thing I'm not sure if maybe they changed cooks in the back I don't know but whoever was there in the back cooking at the beginning of March we need to bring that person back because the consistency is really what's throwing me off at this point. Now that I finish the ribs in the pictures below. Period.... AbsolutelyWill I be in just as quick of a hurry to go there again I don't think so because I'm just afraid to get disappointed at this particular junction... but it was fun while it lasted!!"

James R. "My wife and I visited The Free Man Cajun Bar and Lounge today, and we were blown away by the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. We started with the Boudin Balls, which were sausage with rice, breaded, and fried to perfection. At $14.95, it was a great deal for such a tasty appetizer. For our main courses, my wife ordered the Hot Chick, a spicy fried chicken breast served with gravy over rice. It came with a side, so she opted for a salad. The dish was priced at $18.95 and was worth every penny. I tried the Crawfish Pasta, which featured crawdads in a rich, creamy sauce over pasta, topped with grilled or blackened chicken. At $28.95, it was a bit pricey, but the flavors were so amazing that I didn't mind.To drink, my wife had a sweet tea that was very southern-like, with a hint of lemon and a surprising berry taste. It was a refreshing complement to our meal. One thing to note is that a 20% gratuity is added to your bill, so be aware of that when dining here. Despite this, we highly recommend The Free Man for anyone looking for delicious Cajun food in a lively atmosphere."

Christa B. "We enjoyed Bin 303 again last night with guests from overseas. Our waitress was friendly and very accommodating. Our food was delicious between the salmon; the ribeye; and the filets. The kids burger (ordered medium) was well done and not eaten. We waited at least 30-40 minutes from the time of ordering until our food was brought out. We also ordered dessert and it was all delicious (key lime pie, chocolate mousse, and creme brûlée) and waited about 15 minutes for them. Overall a good experience, despite a long wait times. The restaurant itself is very cute, but attire of some of the other waitresses made it seem very informal despite menu prices. One waitress wore a see through white tshirt with no bra and nipples were very visible to everyone; quite off putting for such a nice restaurant."

The atmosphere of this restaurant is perfect ., you came atch a game, bring a friend and catch up or just enjoy a day for self care and eat pizza and meatballs and have sangria's. YummySo as a first time dinner, Troy walked me through the menu. I wanted to try 2 different pizzas so the restaurant does offer the option to create "half and half" and I had just that. First I tried the meatballs and was recommended the sangria. When I tell you I've never had a sangria like this . I legit want a part time job here so they can pay me in Sangria's and meatballs. I had a whole pizza and decided to split it between the Honey Bastard and the NY white. (Insert chefs kiss)Also please note they have Happy hour on Mondays !! Just don't order all the meatballs and Sangria's before I get there.Ask for Troy he's awesome at recommendations!!!"

Jeff T. "Ever watch a movie where the character steps into a bar or restaurant to escape the bustling city and suddenly feels like they have been transported to another world? That's how we felt when I brought my family in late one evening after a long day about town. We were greeted at the door with a friendly smile by the owner, and the service was personal and efficient. The ambience is like entering a popular place in Venice or Naples, with intimate lighting, cozy furnishings and art, and a gentleman crooner performing in the corner. And yes, he was good! The food is traditional Italian fare, and excellent quality. The bread they make is warm and delicious, and its crumbs are used for the fried mozzarella. I had the seafood linguine, and it came with ample bites of large shrimp, scallops, and mussels. This would be a perfect date night, but also very accommodating for larger groups out for the evening and looking for wine and dining. This is definitely not a place you are likely to forget anytime soon. Ciao!"

Reyhan E. "There are not many Mediterranean places in Fort Worth so Nish! can certainly capitalize on a lack of competition. We had stopped by after reading the reviews, but unfortunately left hoping for better. The biggest pro - the service. We had come during the lunch rush and there was one server serving the 10ish tables. She handled everyone's orders and requests with grace and went non stop. Give her a raise! The food - is good, but the biggest question mark was the beef. We had gotten the arayes appetizer, which barely had any ground beef, and the beef kabobs did not seem fresh. My partner had gotten the beef shawarma and same thing, good flavor, but can tell it wasn't fresh. The chicken was fine. The rice also was a bit bland. If you're craving some Mediterranean food in the Fort Worth area, Nish! Is an option, but temper expectations ahead of time."

The staff took the time to explain the menu to my niece and me, which was super helpful. The coffee here is truly amazing! I was in town for just a few days, and we ended up coming twice because we couldn't get enough of it. While I wasn't a fan of the egg salad toast (I took one bite and decided it wasn't for me), the quality of the drinks more than made up for it. Samantha C. "I've been meaning to try Sideways for over a year! This was a recommendation from another DFW Yelp Elite member when I was new to the area.Ambiance: Finally made it over to Rockwall to check this place out. The restaurant is very much the rustic, country, vibe! They were blasting 90s and current country songs. As we were leaving (around 7:30 PM on a Saturday), the performers for the live band began setting up! Looks like a good place to enjoy some BBQ, and live (country(?)) music. The outdoor patio is pretty large, and they have a corn hole area as well.Service: The service was friendly, but slow. The food came out slow, but it's probably due to the crazy amount of people out that day (beautiful spring day, and prom weekend).Food: We ordered the following dishes to share between the 2 of us1) sideways belly cheater/Fried Pork Rib (3/5: would pass on this! Came out dry)2) Smoked Bacon Wrapped Pimento Cheese Stuffed Jalapenos (5/5: this was amazing!! Deff need a good run after this to open up my Cardiovascular system again!)3) sliced brisket (4/5: so tender, so juicy, melts right in your mouth)4) smoked turkey (3.5/5: very flavorful. Wish it wasn't as dry)5) Jalapeño sausage with cheddar cheese (3.5/4: good, but wish the jalapeño had a kick)Overall, we had a really good time at Sideways enjoying BBQ and a little people watching on the patio!NOTE: the patio tables definitely need to be refinished (the lacquer disintegrated). Be careful or you might get a splinter or 2!"

Wish I'd gotten everyone's names but the Order taker /Cashier and Chefs were so nice and thoughtful during their busy lunch. She raced around to clean tables & took orders, one of the chefs brought me extra tartar sauce that they make in-house. It's really got some secret recipe goodness! The shrimp were cooked to perfect & three times better than the fancier shrimp my cousins & I had at a place in Arlington a few day before. We're all visiting family from out of state & now we know where to go in the DeSoto areafor a great basket of fish, shrimp, banana pudding -- oh and those spicy fries!!! Not super spicy (though we can take it!) but very crispy & better than any fries we had in the Dallas area. (A Paris, Texas restaurant came close!) Thank you, Big T's -- we will be back!!"

He was with some clients and came over and introduced himself. What a kind gentleman with the sweetest soul. My daughter and I were elated and she couldn't wait to call her spouse, lol. We enjoyed our delicious Philly Cheesesteak's again yesterday. Always made fresh and the we add the Philly secret sauce, actually we drown it in. So good. We just need a Big Tony's in Texoma land.
