"Great place, great service. Wings we outstanding! Got the peri peri wings, wife got the monte cristo and loved it."
"Fun pub to watch a soccer game, but the food is below par!Ambiance & Service: Seating is limited on game days, so come early! The interior is charming, like a British pub from a movie. The servers are friendly but made some mistakes with our order and weren't very attentive.Food:- Caesar Salad: Run-of-the-mill, though the spiced croutons were nice.- Tomato Soup: Tasty, savory, and sweet. Would order again!- Chips and Curry Sauce: The chips were nice, but the curry sauce was just cold tikka masala, not the traditional chip shop curry sauce.- Sticky Toffee Pudding: A bit dry, and we wished the toffee sauce was soaked in more. The custard on the side seemed like whipping cream with sugar. Not a fan!TL;DR - The food is disappointing, but if you're looking for a place to watch a soccer game with a drink in hand, the Londoner is a great option!"
"I went here last night to have a drink with a friend. It's a small quaint place, kinda like Cheers. The bartender/server was so sweet & nice . She even made my whiskey bourbon w/amaretto . Go try it."
"I came here a few weeks ago, and my experience was "meh." My server started off strong and then the service just fizzled. You know, where the server disappears after the food comes only to return when it's time to pay. I ordered the artichoke spinach dip, Szechuan orange chicken, tacos, the passion fruit and mango agua fresca, and the raspberry drop. The dip was just okay and bland, however the accompanying chips were good. I wish the dip had more cheese the Orange chicken was okay the riced was basic the orange chicken to me tasted bland and the pieces I had wasn't high quality. I was very disappointed. The tacos however were scrumptious these are a must try.As far as the drinks surprisingly the passion fruit mango aqua fresca was the standout compared to the raspberry drop. My raspberry drop just wasn't mixed well. It wasn't sweet either. As I expected.Unfortunately I won't be back mainly due to service i experienced. The menu is cast so I'm assuming certain things would be better than others."
"Employees are friendly. I really like their $5 whiskey special. I've tried the chicken piccata and their potato scoops. Both were solid. If you order the scoops, ask for the seasoning on the side."
"I've heard so much about this place so, when Kendal invited me to come here. I made arrangements to check it out. I'm so glad I did! It was a cute cozy pub that played great tunes. It was dark and cool in there. People just kept to themselves. I had a great refreshing drink filled with Strawberries, Lemons, Sprite and Gin. It was perfect for a hot day and a thirsty girl like myself. Bathrooms were clean except for one stall had poo in there. For some reason, people have a difficult time leaving things behind. Lol.Our bartender was super kind. He was friendly, conversational, and had a sweet voice He is also Kendal's husband! He was prepared for the Yelpies. It's two stories. There's darts and pool tables up stairs. Iam so appreciative of my free drink and thankful I got check out this popular Pub. If you are in downtown Arlington you should check this little pub out. A special shout out to my friend Tasha for bringing me here!"

Somebody call the Knights of Nee and Sir Lancelot, and tell them about The Holy Grail! This place is great! My friend and fellow Yelper Diana D. hipped me to this place and it has quickly become a favorite! The atmosphere is very on-theme as a medieval tavern. There is an extensive drink menu, with particularly well-crafted (read "strong") bourbon drinks, and all for $10-$12! The Lavender Old Fashioned is really great if you're into Old Fashioneds, and the Bulleit Proof is also really great and extremely strong! As for food, I've had the fried pickles, the fried goat cheese, the brisket grilled cheese sandwich, and the meatloaf. Everything has been good! No notes. The service at The Holy Grail has been consistently good the times I've been here as well. The staff are all very friendly and patient. I look forward to coming back to try more things and have more of the menu. If you're looking for a good no-frills bar and grill at a decent price, your quest ends here. It really is "the Holy Grail."

If you want to experience a taste of Britain this is it. Our server Anna was great, very attentive and personable. We sat in a wooden booth with beautiful stained glass windows and Jack the Ripper memorabilia. There's a cozy fireplace with wing chairs and a couch for having drinks with friends or date. We started with a Pineapple Mimosa and hummus which was very good. I ordered the Tikka Masala which was delicious and my husband ordered the cheesesteak sub which was very flavorful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Londoner and will be returning.

I met up with some friends for a catch-up session on a weeknight. The place wasn't very crowded and we had a good time. The beer was cold and the bar food appetizers were great. There wasn't much seating but it was just right for sitting at the bar. Later, we moved to the tables against the wall. What makes this tavern special is the friendly and helpful staff. The bartenders and waiters are always ready to help. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a cold drink, good company, and decent bar food, this is the spot for you.

No wait! Lots of parking. Excellent location in Grandscape. They had great St Patrick's menu and drinks had the espresso martini. Eggs, shepherd's pie and ahi tower all delish. Plus: had a birthday bonus dessert!. We didn't go to the rooftop area, cool, modern and def a recommended spot!

So I feel like this is a hidden gem that many people are overlooking in their neighborhood. I'll start off by saying I had a Groupon as this place is not in my neighborhood but if it was I swear I'd be here more often. We walked in and there wasn't much of a crowd and I won't lie, I got worried. However the bartender greeted us and was extremely friendly so I was like maybe it's not so bad. If I tell you that the food was great, the drink specials were wonderful and the friendly atmosphere made me wish that this place was in my neighborhood! Don't get me wrong, it is a bar, with walls lined with liquor but the food coming from the kitchen ain't too shabby!

What a fun funky place that's hidden away. The bar is appointed beautifully with lots of dark wood. The bar-back is massive and very impressive. I ended up ordering the Cinnamon Smoked Old Fashion and my wife ordered "The Mockingbird." I've never met an "Old Fashion" that I didn't enjoy. It's a classic cocktail. Hooligan's put a neat spin on a classic. My wife enjoyed her Mockingbird which consisted of gin, strawberries, Lime and Sprite. My wife and I both had a nice time leisurely enjoying our drinks. When we're in the area again, we definitely may trying to stop in again soon.

We've been looking for a nice local place to call OUR local hangout with food above your basic bar fare. I think we found it! Nice ambience, not loud to interfere with conversation. None of the annoying party frat/sorority and loud Pick-Me meat market crowds. More than the basic Coors, Bud Light, Miller beer choices. And good inhouse made foods instead of thawed meat patties, wings, cheese fries from an ordinary bar that I could just make myself at half the cost. Yes they allow smoking however, many other places do not. If you don't like smoke, go somewhere else. Don't come here and complain about it.Yes, we left happy and full yet, looking forward to going back to try the other cocktails and foods.

"My first impression of this place is "Damn the smell!". I am not a smoker, so I tend to avoid places that allow smoking indoors. I came in with my friends during the storm and the pub was still pretty busy. Turns out there is trivia on Thursdays. We stayed for trivia, lost horribly but had a great time. Michelle was the server on deck this evening and she was fast and got our orders correct! We ordered Mac and cheese, the sheppies(3 pieces), and the seafood basket. The Mac and cheese was a very large meal. It had white cheese and looked really tasty. The sheppies were tasty, mash potatoes, cheese, gravy, and meat. As for the seafood basket, the fish and shrimp sizes were nice, I felt the fish was a little fishy, the fries were meh, the shrimp were tasty. The tartar sauce was unique as it had dill in it."
"I hate to say it, but since new ownership started allowing the smokers to smoke on the back porch, it's almost intolerable to enjoy a burger and beer. Bobs has a really fun atmosphere and the "bar food" is decent. Good music, especially B-Ray and the Humans, (classic rock) plays at Bob's. Mostly Texas Dirt music but occasional country and rock domes through as well. If you can tolerate going home smelling like an ashtray, Bobs is still fun"
"Stopped by Brass Tap to catch the Mavs game. It was a little hard to find initially, as it's tucked into the middle of the shopping center. We each had a beer flight which I'm glad the waitress told us about, as I didn't see it on the menu anywhere and it appears the regulars beside us didn't know about it either. Anyways, we just got that and the fried shrimp basket to share . They have a pretty solid beer menu, but if that's not your thing, they also have a limited wine and cocktail menu for you. The beer flight choices I got were : Freaky Deaky, Honey Kolsch, Cali Squeeze and Bishop Dark Cider My favs out of those, were the Dark Cider and Cali Squeeze, the Kolsch and Freaky Deaky were also good just wouldn't be able to drink a whole glass of them as I'm not a big beer drinker so they were a bit stronger tasting for me. The service was good, the place is small but good to catch some sports as they had plenty of TVs around. Good for kids to join as well."
"I've been here twice (both on Wednesday for trivia...) and both visits were vastly different. I don't have to tell you that it was an Irish themed bar and it's vibe was giving dive-bar. The trivia was the same, and so was the food...maybe. The service was definitely different. The first visit it was pretty busy but the server was able to manage and I believe she was the only one for the whole place. The second time was significantly worse and it was substantially less patrons. Homegirl was slow and spent a lot of time sitting with the patrons chatting. Ok so the food...the first visit I had wings and fries and the second I had the burger sliders. Typical bar food and it wasn't bad but I wasn't wow'd either. The fries and mozzarella sticks were hot and fresh, so that was nice. The slider buns were Kings Hawaiian and toasted (a little too toasted because they were slightly burnt)."
"This place has one of the best happy hours on 7th. They have $3 wells and $2.75 domestic drafts. It's a pretty large bar area with a lot to do. There's dart boards, pool tables and some games. The people are super nice and I always get great service."
"This review is long overdue since it's probably about my 8th visit here. When I first started coming here, there are more waitresses that were attentive and the food was a lot better as far as quality and temperature wise. Forward about 3 months later and you pretty much have the opposite. I guess all of the hard help jumped ship or got promoted to the "club next door but really nothing of a loss since it seems like they hired the.... Non desirables that could not get the position at Hooters or even Ojos Locos. This is pretty much more of a bikers bar I assume since the last time we were here it was overrun by them, nothing much came out of this meeting no confrontations but my adrenaline was pumping all the way up and ready for action just in case but it just seems like if you do not look like a leatherback, beard sporting, tattooed Menace looking character, you will most likely not get noticed here. What was the last straw that broke the Harley's back? I'm sorry I meant count? Well I can remember on my last visit service slacked off by 50% so give it another month, came back and it pretty much was worse. If you have to wait 10 minutes for somebody to come to your table and it was not even too busy then you know you are not going to have a good evening. Add that I ordered the queso and chips for $5 the Queso might as well just come from the store shelf because it was not hot at all but at least it had a decent flavor if you consider the spicy part at the bottom of the dip and the chips as stale as anything you have never had in your life. The other part was a little bit of my beer spilled on the table which was enough to cover a quarter of it and when the waitress came by I told her we had a little accident so with this I was expecting maybe for her to bring some extra napkins or something but it pretty much was like oh okay, bye Felicia. There are a lot of other better places around here so if you want to put this on your bucket list, proceed with caution. Oh and if the eye candy is not enough for you here which really isn't much to look at you can go next door to the strip club which is owned by the same person. No we did not go there did not care for that either."
"Love this bar! My experience was great. Had a fantastic bartender, Molly! live music was phenomenal , no problem with service but don't go for the food go for the entertainment! Darts, tvs, pool tables&dance floor.... what more do you need?! Nachos were a real disappointment but music made up for it. Bathrooms could use some attention for sure but great hang"
