"Fun pub to watch a soccer game, but the food is below par!Ambiance & Service: Seating is limited on game days, so come early! The interior is charming, like a British pub from a movie. The servers are friendly but made some mistakes with our order and weren't very attentive.Food:- Caesar Salad: Run-of-the-mill, though the spiced croutons were nice.- Tomato Soup: Tasty, savory, and sweet. Would order again!- Chips and Curry Sauce: The chips were nice, but the curry sauce was just cold tikka masala, not the traditional chip shop curry sauce.- Sticky Toffee Pudding: A bit dry, and we wished the toffee sauce was soaked in more. The custard on the side seemed like whipping cream with sugar. Not a fan!TL;DR - The food is disappointing, but if you're looking for a place to watch a soccer game with a drink in hand, the Londoner is a great option!"
"We love coming to listen to the bands but today this southern transplant found the perfect shrimp po'boy."
"Stopped by Brass Tap to catch the Mavs game. It was a little hard to find initially, as it's tucked into the middle of the shopping center. We each had a beer flight which I'm glad the waitress told us about, as I didn't see it on the menu anywhere and it appears the regulars beside us didn't know about it either. Anyways, we just got that and the fried shrimp basket to share . They have a pretty solid beer menu, but if that's not your thing, they also have a limited wine and cocktail menu for you. The beer flight choices I got were : Freaky Deaky, Honey Kolsch, Cali Squeeze and Bishop Dark Cider My favs out of those, were the Dark Cider and Cali Squeeze, the Kolsch and Freaky Deaky were also good just wouldn't be able to drink a whole glass of them as I'm not a big beer drinker so they were a bit stronger tasting for me. The service was good, the place is small but good to catch some sports as they had plenty of TVs around. Good for kids to join as well."
"Was there last night and Henry was sloppy drunk and couldn't even afford to tip his bartender. Then continues to embarrass himself and spit at a woman. Poags is a legit pub. I'm there often and am never treated with ANYTHING but respect and kindness. The funny thing about respect is you gotta give it to get it. Don't take the opinion of some drunk broke loser. POAGS IS LEGIT!"
"Flew into town to go see Pearl Jam . I got off the airplane and hopped on yelp. I loved the name of the bar. I walked in during an every day happy hour. On Wednesday I enjoyed $2.50 beers. I've been back 3 more times. Bailey and Mallory are the reasons we keep coming back. Fun atmosphere and great service . They open at 7am"
"It's about time I update this review. The Pub is exactly what you would expect from the name. It's your local chill spot to drink with friends, play some pool and have a conversation with no frills.Dave no longer owns Pub, so if you were a regular back in the day, know that things have changed a little. It used to be an honor to have your picture taken to get on the wall, but it seems the new owners don't keep up with this tradition. Unfortunately for my friend group, the pictures Dave took of us on Halloween and on my wedding night may never make it to the wall.Pub loves its no frills and wears the one star review for "filthy" as a badge of honor. A new joke is their sign on the men's bathroom door that says please don't do coke in here. If you like Pub, the Pub likes you."
"Typical type of bar with ample seating and a place to lounge. You'll find nice size tv on every corner to catch a sports whatever is playing in that night. Smoking is permitted but the smell wasn't that bad that night. I've heard that there are a lot of fights. My bf came to visit on a Monday night and the bar tender said he already broke 2 fights that night. Either people just can't hold down their temper or bartender are not keeping tabs on how much alcohol a customer had."
"I've been here twice (both on Wednesday for trivia...) and both visits were vastly different. I don't have to tell you that it was an Irish themed bar and it's vibe was giving dive-bar. The trivia was the same, and so was the food...maybe. The service was definitely different. The first visit it was pretty busy but the server was able to manage and I believe she was the only one for the whole place. The second time was significantly worse and it was substantially less patrons. Homegirl was slow and spent a lot of time sitting with the patrons chatting. Ok so the food...the first visit I had wings and fries and the second I had the burger sliders. Typical bar food and it wasn't bad but I wasn't wow'd either. The fries and mozzarella sticks were hot and fresh, so that was nice. The slider buns were Kings Hawaiian and toasted (a little too toasted because they were slightly burnt)."
"My first impression of this place is "Damn the smell!". I am not a smoker, so I tend to avoid places that allow smoking indoors. I came in with my friends during the storm and the pub was still pretty busy. Turns out there is trivia on Thursdays. We stayed for trivia, lost horribly but had a great time. Michelle was the server on deck this evening and she was fast and got our orders correct! We ordered Mac and cheese, the sheppies(3 pieces), and the seafood basket. The Mac and cheese was a very large meal. It had white cheese and looked really tasty. The sheppies were tasty, mash potatoes, cheese, gravy, and meat. As for the seafood basket, the fish and shrimp sizes were nice, I felt the fish was a little fishy, the fries were meh, the shrimp were tasty. The tartar sauce was unique as it had dill in it."
"I enjoy this little chill spot for drinks and music... small and cozy. This is not the official Armadilla website. But come on by check it out the bartenders are great and yes the beer is ice cold. Omg have only lived in Tx for a year and this was my first time here!!! Could not ask for a better crowd and staff!!! It was an amazing time I have found my home bar!!!!!"
"I've been going to this establishment for over a year now. LOVE IT. Always a blast. Between karaoke and the drinks this place is the weekend riot! The margherita pizza is dope too."
"Unable to quiet my mind, I sought somewhere to calm me a bit. As I drive down Division, I saw Sunshine. That name... Sunshine, holds 33 years of significance for me. This place is a much less broke down Showdown. A dark, divey but decent place to collect on the currency of a smile. To discuss the weather with a woman weathered by life serving you a delicious drink. To hear a 1970's legend on a Waffle House style jukebox, selected by a 20 something in a hooded sweatshirt. The drinks, strong. The beers, cold. The conversation, lovely. The place is full of regulars, but the best kind.I love that the chairs are mismatched office chairs. The bar is raised, but the floor is tall, leaving you with a short seat and a tall order. Comfort. Think sitting in your chair at work, but with a drink. If you are in Arlington, stop in. It's quite the unique place."

If you want to experience a taste of Britain this is it. Our server Anna was great, very attentive and personable. We sat in a wooden booth with beautiful stained glass windows and Jack the Ripper memorabilia. There's a cozy fireplace with wing chairs and a couch for having drinks with friends or date. We started with a Pineapple Mimosa and hummus which was very good. I ordered the Tikka Masala which was delicious and my husband ordered the cheesesteak sub which was very flavorful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Londoner and will be returning.

Good food. Beer tasted flat. Very dark room. Attentive service however. I believe they allow cigarettes inside.

This was a great find. Lots of outdoor dinning seating, perfect for the cool spring and fall days. And of course a very family friendly environment.

Always feel welcome when your visit Poag Mahone's! Whether you are thirsty for a very fresh tasting Guinness or sip on a whisky while watching a game, P.M. is like your neighborhood bar where you are among friends. Pool and darts, aas well as, many large TVs.

New local pub for us. Haven't been disappointed. Avoid kickball night-if you want a smaller crowd. Honest bar staff-left my card and found it safe days later. 11/10 recommended

Greatest bar around. I come here whenever I can. Only downside it's a Chicago Bears bar and a Dallas Cowboys bar haha but it's all in good fun. I recommend the Cuban sandwich. Service is always fantastic. Beer is always cold :) go Cowboys!

"The beer is really good . So many choices. There are hard liquor drinks also. The service is amazing. Greeted at the door. The decorations are unique with the pallets for the table tops to the wine barrel tables. The mural is beautiful. The food is good Lacie was the bar tender and Ava was amazing."
"This place has one of the best happy hours on 7th. They have $3 wells and $2.75 domestic drafts. It's a pretty large bar area with a lot to do. There's dart boards, pool tables and some games. The people are super nice and I always get great service."
"Mad Hatter is the best kind of little bar off west 7th. It's on the side of the street where those of us that aren't "woke" hang out. I'm good with that. It's a dive where almost everyone knows your name.Restrooms are clean and they have a shared parking lot. After bank hours it is also okay to park in their lot. Street parking is also available."
"One of my favorite spots in Denton. I love the atmosphere here and being able to bring my dog to the outdoor seating area. Feta's Greek food truck is right outside and they'll bring you your food if you opt to eat here. I am no beer connoisseur but everyone always gives great recommendations and gives samples before you order anything. There are so many options and they're constantly rotating out the selection of beers. A favorite I've tried has been the redbud wild berry wheat by the Denton brewing company!"
"Great bar, and the owner is friendly and authentic. They have four pool tables, a Foosball and ping pong table, so there's usually something open to play on. Drink prices are fantastic and Angelos BBQ is right across the street when you get the drunk munchies. It's big enough that the smokers aren't as annoying."
"The loaded potatoes were delicious and elevated. This was a unique dish! The ramen was yummily hot and savory; as an Asian I judge noodles by temperature and spice. The fried chicken that accompanied it as the protein was super crispy...almost too crispy, but my husband thought it was perfect. His burger and fries looked delicious, and I hope to get a bite next time! The service was exceptional and professional! Great spot for a Sunday brunch!"
"This place is a total gem! We swung by for a laid-back night and were immediately welcomed into the fun, friendly vibe. The seltzers were ice-cold and refreshing, and the bartender had great recommendations for flavors. We spent most of the evening at the pool table, where the competition was friendly but spirited--everyone was super chill and inclusive. If you're looking for a gay-friendly spot to unwind, sip great drinks, and meet awesome people, this is it."
"Great place, great service. Wings we outstanding! Got the peri peri wings, wife got the monte cristo and loved it."
"Ok, so lemme say that this is a true gem. Drink prices are amazing and food is really good. Dawn, the bartender, is witty and a little snarky...which I love. She made our first experience here really fun. Came into town for Rangers/Astros games and we have all agreed to call this place home base. Miller Lite for 2.50? Yes please. And it's ice cold. Shots are cheaper than anywhere closer to the ballpark. Since previous reviews, there is no more indoor smoking so the place is not gonna leave you smelling like your grandpa. But they do have a designated smoking area outside. Pool tables, steel and plastic tip darts, Golden Tee, shuffleboard, and karaoke are here as well. All in all, great experience and will likely come here before every game."
"Second time visiting. I am SUCH a creature of habit so of course I ordered the lunch street fries but on TOTS instead of fries. (I do love a good tot.) OMG, these things are over the top. I got the lunch portion and thank goodness my hubby was with me to help eat them because even the lunch portion is more than generous. Hubby had the lunch portion fish & chips. Two pieces of fish, hush puppies and fries. He said the 1st piece of fish was good, but the 2nd was a bit overcooked. No worries, he helped my polish off my tots! On the rocks margarita for him, frozen for me. Both good. Riley was excellent, attentive and super friendly. The space is nothing fancy. It's a good, clean spot with great food. Will definitely be back! (Maybe I'll get adventurous and try something different!) I've heard that their burgers are excellent!"
"A great neighborhood bar in Fairmont neighborhood. Bartender and patrons are friendly. Beer/drinks prices are average. They do have a kitchen but they allow patron to bring food from outside."
"It was our first time here and we came right in time for their 3pm Saturday Bingo game. It's a dollar to play and they only take cash for Bingo. We had a perfect view of the lake from the covered patio. We got pretzel bites for an appetizer but there were only 6 so I'd recommend getting another appetizer if you're sharing. It was good though. We both got burgers, mine was the blue bayou and it was really flavorful. The mash potatoes were made with real potatoes and had a nice buttery flavor to them. This is a nice spot to eat but the parking may be difficult because there aren't a lot of spots since it's shared with the boat ramp folks. We got lucky and had some fishermen leaving as we pulled in."
"Karaoke 7 days a week! Not only is it a great place to chill out and have a drink at the bar but it's a great place to bring a pack of friends and let loose. Great staff and service!Karaoke 7 days a week! Not only is it a great place to chill out and have a drink at the bar but it's a great place to bring a pack of friends and let loose. "Love this bar! My experience was great. Had a fantastic bartender, Molly! live music was phenomenal , no problem with service but don't go for the food go for the entertainment! Darts, tvs, pool tables&dance floor.... what more do you need?! Nachos were a real disappointment but music made up for it. Bathrooms could use some attention for sure but great hang"
"Belgian mussels absolute fire. Great chill pub. Staff is attentive and friendly, cool spot for a weekend kick back"
"I went here last night to have a drink with a friend. It's a small quaint place, kinda like Cheers. The bartender/server was so sweet & nice . She even made my whiskey bourbon w/amaretto . Go try it."
"I've heard so much about this place so, when Kendal invited me to come here. I made arrangements to check it out. I'm so glad I did! It was a cute cozy pub that played great tunes. It was dark and cool in there. People just kept to themselves. I had a great refreshing drink filled with Strawberries, Lemons, Sprite and Gin. It was perfect for a hot day and a thirsty girl like myself. Bathrooms were clean except for one stall had poo in there. For some reason, people have a difficult time leaving things behind. Lol.Our bartender was super kind. He was friendly, conversational, and had a sweet voice He is also Kendal's husband! He was prepared for the Yelpies. It's two stories. There's darts and pool tables up stairs. Iam so appreciative of my free drink and thankful I got check out this popular Pub. If you are in downtown Arlington you should check this little pub out. A special shout out to my friend Tasha for bringing me here!"
"Small, no frills and I LOVE IT!!Truth be told, the selling point of this bar is the punk vibe that took me right back to my late teens!Loved the bar staff, loved the tunes, I was back in a comfortable place in my memory, roaming the Houston alternative scene. Ramones, Buzzcocks, The Hew York Dolls and The Sex Pistols....Heaven, without getting stomped in the pit at my age! (*ahem!).If you're on a pub crawl, don't miss seeing this place if part of your heart is still punk."
"I decided to walk the boardwalk and try the next restaurant. I heard they had fish and chips and needed to try. The halibut had a beer battered was thick and crispy. Lots of white flaky halibut. It is served on a bed of hand cut fries. The sides are coleslaw which was different and oh so yummy. And smashed peas. It's not my list of food I wish to eat so I couldn't taste it. I can't tell if the tartar sauce is made fresh but it looks like it and taste good. The ambience for the Texas game was a hit!"
"Went tonight for the first time after having seen ads on Facebook for a while now. Saturday at 5p and had our choice of seats. Appeared to be 2 poker games happening. Very relaxed atmosphere. We were greeted by Kenna who was extremely friendly. Loved our apps. More than we were expecting on the plates. Shay (sp?) helped cover our table while Kenna was serving at the bar. Great to see teamwork like that in a business. The place has a great, funky vibe and a definite pub feel. Doesn't try to be anything else. Definitely need to go back again and try more of the menu. Have to give their pizza a try soon!"
"Came with a friend for lunch. Great burger! Decent service and I can tell it's a vibe on the weekends."
"Employees are friendly. I really like their $5 whiskey special. I've tried the chicken piccata and their potato scoops. Both were solid. If you order the scoops, ask for the seasoning on the side."
"Great environment. I had a really nice bartender. Great service. Great (upscale) Irish pub."
