Sundown at Granada

"Date night last night we decided to give Sundown a try. We were hoping for seating on the rooftop however we weren't allowed to go up. Perhaps there was a private event. We opted for patio seating since it was such a nice night. To start we decided to share the Kale salad which consists of Arugula. Kale, radicchio, apples, goat cheese. Chili pecans, pickled red onion, craisons, and topped with pomegranate balsamic vinegar. The salad was light and refreshing and a perfect size to share. We also ordered the Mac n cheese and for an entree the braised short ribs|Demi glaze|garlic whipped potatoes and brocolini. The short ribs were amazing so tender and flavorful, I can't wait to go back and order this again. To end the night on a sweet note we decided on the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream."

"We came for a team dinner for 13, ironically at Table 13 :P. The table was setup and we got to sit right away. Very clean modern looking restaurant with some gorgeous chandelier hanging around. They offer a bunch of drinks including some excellent wine collection. We got to try a variety of appetizers among which I loved the deviled eggs and lobster bisque. For entree I had the filet mignon with risotto. I sort of wanted more flavor on my streak, I felt was little crusty as well. Risotto was too bland. At the end I had the creme brûlée, that was really good. Throughout the night service was amazing. Our glasses were constantly filled with our drinks. Plates were replaced as we went from appetizers to entree. Food came out in good pace. Other than slight disappointment with steak, I pretty much liked everything about this place."

"Wow. First we went on a Friday, first game of the WS. What an event and what an incredible location. We grabbed a few things for dinner and order a few buckets of drinks. The meal we had the fish tacos, yes fish tacos in this location. Fresh and delicious. Not soggy and crisp in the tortilla. Salsa was good, but not spicy. We also had the chicken fried steak burger, which was good but the gravy, well was not fantastic and could do without it. It was very thin and not too thick where it would not stick to the steak on the burger. Fries were good, both sweet potato and nacho fries. For the bar, fantastic service and impeccable care. It was so good, we went back on Sunday after the Dallas game to sit down and watch the late Sunday game there. Ambiance was bar scene. It want quiet, so don't think the going for a quiet evening. It was loud and lively. Go and have some fun."

"My friend and her fiancée got a table for NYE and invited me and my fiancée! So this review may be a bit biased bc we received a lot of free items! Walking in security was a bit rude but the interaction lasted less than 2 min. We skipped paying to get in and was seated with my friends. The place was packed but service was good despite the crowd. We received free champagne, enjoyed hookah, and enjoyed the music. If you like Caribbean food and music, it's definitely the place to be."

"We recently ordered some food to go from Aldeez as I was craving jerk chicken. It was pretty good actually. Not the best I've had and a tiny bit dry, but overall it was something that I would get again. My boyfriend ended up getting the ox tail which were tender enough. Again, not the best we've ever had but decent enough to order from this place again."

"Came out to see the Cirque Spirit of Christmas Show in which my friend's daughters performs.The Glass Cactus is a nightclub entertainment venue attached to the Gaylord Texan.Perfect size for small acts,you feel like you're part of the action. This show featuring international circus acts along traditional lines was high energy.It runs thru the Christmas season and is worth catching."

"On a mission to make it to all the pop ups this Christmas so next stop Birdie's.Came with a friend on a Tuesday afternoon and we where the only ones there, but considering the time and day we were not surprised. This place is huge! I can see how it would be a lively place in the evening! Tons of seating inside and out. Dog friendly too.We started to get a holiday cocktail and the bartender directed us to a small inside bar area that had more offerings. Inside was dressed top to bottom in Christmas decor and looked amazing, a lot of "Instagrammable" moments to be had here!! I had the peppermint holiday drink and my friend the bad Santa(yummy take on an old fashion!) Both drinks didn't disappoint.This is a great spot to meet up with friends/family and get into the Holiday Spirit and enjoy festive cocktails FYI- Kitchen opens at 2pm Add it to the Love List"

"I hate to say it, but since new ownership started allowing the smokers to smoke on the back porch, it's almost intolerable to enjoy a burger and beer. Bobs has a really fun atmosphere and the "bar food" is decent. Good music, especially B-Ray and the Humans, (classic rock) plays at Bob's. Mostly Texas Dirt music but occasional country and rock domes through as well. If you can tolerate going home smelling like an ashtray, Bobs is still fun"

Red Goose Saloon

"This place says it's a show store from the outside, but alas, it is an actual saloon. It was near our hotel and we wanted a drink late night, so we came here. We got there right as they were making last call, but they took all of our orders and fulfilled them perfectly. I got a long island iced tea and it was super strong!It is a long narrow space with lots of seating both at the bar and at high tables along the side. Not sure if it was because we got there late, but they keep the lights up and I think it would be better if it was a little darker. The bathrooms are clean and the staff friendly. I did not get any food here so cannot provide a review on that."

"This is based on bar only. The art part closes early. The host was nice helped us to seats. Bartenders are super nice and helpful Very approachable. They basically serve the bar area like waiters and waitresses. Go to each table for drinks and close out checks. A lot of work for a bartender. Luckily the bar area isn't big. But with all that they do the still will be really helpful. Great staff overall."

"Went on a Saturday and I believe the server was Chelsea! We walked right on in and found a table... there were a few ppl at the bar but the place was pretty empty. The menu is just regular bar food and the mozzarella sticks and the onion rings were not bad. Now we had the shots flowing and the price wasn't outrageous. The bathroom for it being a bar was clean!!!! Hello for a day of drinking that is important . Bikers came and went,ppl were playing pool. I had a time with great friends and would go back again:)"

"The only reason they got 4 stars is because they are always out of Mac N cheese other than that I love their food. The Mac is somewhat my favorite because it's just different. They fry their plantains beautifully caramelized buttery and sweet. The black beans and rice are so flavorful and the jerk chicken (yummy) taste so authentic, moist and tender. I will also like to point out that after hours is a lounge and the music selection is groovy and upbeat. I really like this place"

"I was skeptical when I read all the bad reviews, and saw the pictures of food in Styrofoam. Im a food snob gringo by any definition, and hate wasting time and calories on aggressively mediocre food. But I went anyway and am so glad I did. The service was fast, friendly and attentive. I had the garlic mojarra, and I'm dead serious that it is the best fish dish I have had in Texas. It came out assertively crispy, which made me concerned that the fish would be dried to a chewy meh. Every bite was silky succulent to the very last morsel. Mid way through, when it came time to flip it over, I was concerned that the luscious fish would make the underside exterior soggy and gummy. Nope, it absorbed the fishy goodness and kept it's satisfying crunch. I can't explain why my experience is so different than other reviews, but if you have the same experience I did, you'll be looking for how soon you can be back!"

"Love this bar! My experience was great. Had a fantastic bartender, Molly! live music was phenomenal , no problem with service but don't go for the food go for the entertainment! Darts, tvs, pool tables&dance floor.... what more do you need?! Nachos were a real disappointment but music made up for it. Bathrooms could use some attention for sure but great hang"
