"We were visiting the area for a conference and were looking to finish off with some jazz, this is the place! We got in right before the end of Happy Hour (8:00) . The Rockin Reverend Rick McCoy was one of the best we have heard in an intimate jazz bar. Bea the Bartender was friendly and mixed a good one! If our travels bring us back to the area we will definitely drop in !"
"Looking for a chill spot in the Irving Texas area then I suggest you give The Loft Restaurant and Bar a try. The restaurant and bar are located in a very modern style hotel named NYLO. The front desk personnel will direct you to the restaurant and bar area. If you check in on Yelp you can get a check in offer of 20% off food for lunch and dinner. We were there just for drinks so wasn't able to use the deal. Since it was so late the bar was basically the only thing open. We grabbed a seat towards the end of the bar. The bartender was kinda busy but she did acknowledge that we were there. I'm in love with barrel aged drinks so I ordered the Tres Agaves Orange/Grapefruit Old Fashioned drink. It was phenomenal so much so that I had to have another. My friend had a Campari Drink that he created. His was also good but I don't like gin so it was very dry to me. We had a good time and enjoyed the chill atmosphere. The restaurant and bar are located close to the pool area of the hotel. I would have love to sit outside and enjoy the cool Texas air but the pool was hopping and I wasn't try to fool around with that energy. My friend had a blast reading the Yelp reviews for this spot. I would recommend you give it a try. The Loft Restaurant and Bar 1001 W Royal LnNYLOIrving, TX 75039Saturday July 7, 2018 9:30pm"

"If I could, the score would actually be a 4.5 but, here we are. Bloom is a charming Mediterranean-inspired brunch spot that has something for everyone from young to old with standout items like Shakshuka and Nutella Crepes. The customer service was excellent right from the start, and I was particularly impressed with our server, Kiara. She went above and beyond to tailor our recommendations to my tastes, ensuring I had the perfect seasonal dish. The overall atmosphere was just as inviting as the food, with an interior that felt like a quaint French Bistro, adding to the overall dining experience. But, my imaginary -.5 comes from the reservation/seating process. Despite having a reservation for two, we ended up waiting for over an hour to be seated. The hostess seemed overwhelmed, struggling with both the online booking system and managing the influx of customers. This disorganization was frustrating and put a dent in what could have been a flawless experience. The other ding is the A/C when I visited in July it was out and I lost at least a pound in sweat; there was no warning/heads up but, hoping it's since been fixed."
"This place gets packed, so I made a reservation. It feels kinda expensive to pay 100 for a little table, but I got a table for 4 and 2 and they were great seats, right by the live band. Tables were together which I was worried about because I couldn't get in touch with anyone, but they were clean, reserved and ready when I got there. The lady at the door was super nice and guided me to my seat with no problems. If you're only going with like 1 or 2 people, you might can just come and get a seat. But I was with a group, so a reservation was our best bet. It's more of an older vibe. It was nice to have both the band play and switch out with the dj. It was a good balance and a nice mixture of old school and todays music (mostly old school which I love). Plus, the DJ took song request! Cheese sticks were good, hot and fresh. The wings were good. Friends got loaded fries, I wasn't a fan, but they liked them. Drinks weren't too strong, but still good. Ordered the Long Island, lemon drop shot and green tea shot. I heard the strawberry henney was strong. The lemon drop was a little sour. I would come back to this place. I really enjoyed it. The service was really good, even with them being super busy. They were pretty attentive. The only thing I didn't like was that they never answered the phone. So if you expect to get in touch with someone, don't.Also, it was very hot, felt like no AC was on. There were fans, but you couldn't feel anything. (And a dust mite fell on our table )Regardless, everything else turned out to be great! I will still be coming back."
"Beautiful environment and beautiful jazzy aesthetic; my run club ZFT run club enjoys fellowshipping at this lounge and the music, drinks and vibes deliver. My server God bless her heart was one of the only servers because it is a Wednesday but she did a wonderful job! I ordered a London Mule (Moscow mule w/ Gin) and it was flavorful with a kick! Not as bubbly as I would like but they brought the LIKKKAAAAI ordered the wings with two sides of salad because I didn't feel like eating too heavy late at night and the wings did not let me down I got the plain with a site of hot sauce and enjoyed every bit; I also enjoyed my fresh chopped salad. They will still receive a perfect score from me not because the environment was perfect but for an unexpected Wednesday night where they're low staffed and were bombarded with 50 runners they absolutely made it work; even when concerns came up they found a way to make the consumer happy and accommodate them. Only suggestions I have is to lower the music a tad to allow conversations and to provide a limited menu upfront if it's a night where a few items are not available. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this spot and will be back for Brunch!"
"I was in the mood for Indian food on a Sunday afternoon and hubby found this place in Cedar Hill. It seems to be newer to the area as my hubby recalled some other restaurant occupying the space prior. Either way, I'm so glad we found this place. We were immediately greeted and allowed to sit where we wanted. The decor is minimal yet clean and airy. The place was pretty empty except for us and one other party of 5.We ordered chicken tikka masala, Tandoori mix (chicken, shrimp, & lamb), basmati rice, garlic naan bread and a masala chai tea. Everything was delicious. Not one bad thing to say. Definitely plan on returning to try some other items. The butter chicken is next up for me."
"This was my first time at lit and there were so many things to enjoy! We came for a friends birthday and there were so many picture worthy spots here! Lit is pretty Lit, but I don't have to run back. I can take a stroll back next year. Reasons Lit was lit:Cool decorGreat foodNice staffGreat DJReasons for my slow stroll back:Very pricey for the level of service and the fact I had to see a lot of butt cheeks while eating. If you downgrade your reservation for a large party they charge a fee. The fancy dessert with the sparklers is ice cream that was frozen rock hard and couldn't be cut with regular utensils. This makes for a pretty odd birthday celebration. Overall it's a cool place. The crowd is younger and leans more female. I loved the DJ! Lit, I will see you again for a special occasion!"
"Great service! Food was avg!Probably should have gotten a steak, but alas Shrimp n Grits avg, spinach and artichoke dip bland not good, wedge salad was great and the bread was good too."
"First timer here and it won't be my last! The hostess and servers were informative and attentive! The vibe is a great mix of hype, eclectic, sexy and energetic! I ordered a platter which included a nice mix of tastes from the menu. You can also order hookahs for your table There is also belly dancing but after 8 pm. If you are in the Dallas area, a true gem to experience!Note: Reservations are 2 hour max...but food comes out fast!My only negative experience was interaction with the parking attendants when leaving. When I arrived there was no one to park me, so I paid to park via parking lot machine. Upon return to my vehicle, an attendant appeared yelling at me to pay him 20 bucks. After taking a pic of my license plate even after explaining that I paid...I felt truly harassed! This won't stop me from visiting BUT I will not park in the lot."
"My wife and I stopped in to check out the amazing renovations. We have driven past the Isis many years thinking that at one point it would be demolished. We were fortunate to meet the owner Jeffrey Smith, and enjoyed having a drink and discussing the significant renovations. Jeffery let us check out the theater. They had Viva Las Vegas playing. My wife checked out the Speakeasy, and won't stop talking about amazing the chandeliers are. Jeffrey told us that the first person picks the movie for that showtime from the menu of movies available. The bar is vintage and the area is very comfortable. Really enjoyed and am amazed at the transformation. Can't believe this place isn't filled all the time."
"I recently had an amazing dining experience at Sangria y Cerveza! Our servers, Mikayla and Austin, were fantastic--attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We tried a variety of dishes, including the birria tacos, pico, guacamole, shrimp tacos, and flautitas, and everything was delicious! Each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. We also enjoyed two cocktails that perfectly complemented our meal. Oaxaca Old Fashion and Mezcal Negroni. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively, especially with the live music on Thursdays. It added a wonderful touch to our dining experience. Plus, the fact that they have happy hour every day and extended happy hour on nights with live football games is a huge bonus!I highly recommend Sangria y Cerveza for great food, excellent service, and a fun environment. I can't wait to go back!"
"Our daughter chose Stirr for her birthday celebration. We arrived on a Sunday early afternoon and it was already packed. To cut to the chase, this place was ok. The food was good but the service lacked, it was a bit slow at times. My first margarita took a good minute to get.I think this place didn't have it's A/C on that hot day, because it was hot inside, very uncomfortable. Not sure we'd come back."

Pros: beautiful, spacious pool area. Attached to my hotel so very convenient. Hardly anyone out there. Cons: even though I had a wrist band on from another bar that read 21+, they carded. I had to go all the way back up to my room to get ID. Humongous hassle. Also, it was pretty obvious we were hotel guests. Do they have many under age patrons staying here? Minus a star for this inconvenience. Minus another star because my drink (palmarita) was undrinkable! I took one sip and was disgusted. Didn't take a second sip. Minus a star because they didn't come and offer to replace this poorly made drink. That's the drink I ordered and that's what I was stuck with.

The most beautiful brunch to dinner you will find in the metroplex!!! One the most beautiful and sweet bartender (shout out to Alison!) made our drinks no only beautiful but sooooo delicious!Abagail was the most wonderful and kind server. The brightness she brought to our dim day really made trying a new place absolutely worth itShe was funny, effortlessly efficient with the energy to march. Not a single frown at our table after we met her. She truly is a girls girlLove this place can't wait to bring more and more friends and family here

Came for Brunch, which is served until 5. I ordered the Scramble (eggs, bacon, sausage, green peppers and onions). It was delicious! I overheard other customers comment on how delicious their food was.The service... the chef and a server were the staff. They were friendly. Don't expect fast, just expect good.Ambiance: if you are looking for a laid back, chill vibe this is the place. My cost... $10 for the food, $15 for the double mimosa. I will be coming back and recommend to others...

Yelp reviews helped me decide to come and try this establishment on a Sunday. I was greeted by a kind and friendly woman who took my order. I chose the chicken tikka masala medium heat with both cheese and garlic naan.My wait was 15 min and I included my receipt. Tip included it was around $27. Once home the naan was still warm and melted in my mouth with the sauces from the tikka masala. The flavors just sat on my tongue and the flavors eased throughout my mouth and lips.I will say the rice and chicken once dipped contributed to a flavor and meal like no other. This establishment is fairly new and I hope it's here to stay. The ambiance was calming and friendly as families packed in.Regardless of your choice to sit inside or pick up to go, I encourage you to stop and try the many options on the menu. You won't be disappointed and you will return. Thank you for making my tastebuds happy.

Very loud atmosphere at night, could barely hear anyone talking once the dj started. Food took forever to arrive so everyone ate at separate times unfortunately. There was no drink menu at the time as they were revamping it & they didn't provide any options so we just had to wing it. It was a very interesting experience. Splitting the check was an ordeal so I wouldn't recommend doing that, do zelle split pay or something because we waiting an extra hour trying to get it corrected. It was a very busy night and they had an event the same night so it was very chaotic.

Amazing! We've eaten at Eighteen Ninety a number of times. Each time has been fabulous and tonight was no different. Three of us ate here on a Friday night at 5:30 ahead of a concert nearby at the Granbury Opera House. Once seated, our server, Kendall, was there with water and took our drink order. Kendall was super pleasant and very knowledgeable about the dishes. We ordered the Escargot appetizer and at Kendall's suggestion, we added the lump crab meat. Wow, what a great appetizer. Our pre-dinner cocktails were great too. I had their Old Fashioned. Always real good and my wife had a Cosmopolitan - also tasty. My son had the Potato Leek Soup and the Shrimp and Grits and he said they were both fabulous. My wife and shared the Wedge Salad and the Beef Filet. They offer two types of plate sharing. We opted for the version that allows each of us to get 2 full sides. They even offer to have each of our portion of the filet to be cooked differently. The salad, steak and sides were great. With the appetizer and salad, we didn't finish our steak or sides, but they're going to make a nice snack, breakfast or lunch at home.Of course, we had to shop at the Eighteen Ninety store where we replenished some Premium A White Balsamic vinegar, some Salt-Free Garlic and Herb seasoning, and some Garlic Finishing Salt.Looking forward to our next visit to Eighteen Ninety in Granbury.

"visiting town for the weekend best plaice i've ever been. must visit being from out of town. Jordan the manager was amazing he took care of my 15+ crowd"
"What an wonderful place and amazing food. Jon was our server and five stars for Jon, the management and, that chefs. Great atmosphere, too."
"My cousin chose this location to celebrate her birthday. It is not a place I would have chosen but the staff was really nice and the z blue Hawaiian Drink was really good.PROS*Super nice staff*Plenty of room, not crowded *Well lit*Plenty of parking *Decent wings*Really good DJCONS*No dress code so you can only imagine the butt cheeks and breast hanging out everywhere.*Food was that good. Many of the guests were complaining."
"Ambiance is above all and off the charts!Service is so quick you don't even know you have ordered! The staff loves its customers so much they know what you want with 1 word!Jessie the owner is absolutely hands on and loves his patrons! Such a niche bar with local patrons!"
"Love this place! I went on a Saturday night - the vibes were amazing. I loved the live music and the DJ later on in the evening. I look forward to coming back and trying the food on my 2nd visit. I had eaten dinner prior so I was only there for drinks, but the drinks were impressive. I had a strawberry lemon drop - highly recommend. Our server was so kind and welcoming. Can't wait to go back!"
"Excellent service and a cozy atmosphere. I have enjoyed two thanksgiving buffets. And easter buffet (yesterday) and a few happy hours/appies here. The food is outstanding and the Chef frequently walks the room to make sure that all guests are happy and satisfied. The Easter buffet was out of control delish - my favs (so many to choose from!)...the crab claws with house made roulade, the perfectly cooked prime rib with their 26-hour au jus, truffle mac and cheese, grilled asparagus, key lime pie, caviar deviled eggs, carrot cake...absolutely stunning! I had to take a nap after all of the deliciousness..."
"The worst martini I ever had is housed at this place. An extra dirty gin martini is my go-to, and as long as you have gin, olive juice, and vermouth, its pretty hard to mess up. A friend and I dipped inside of this neighborhood bar to avoid the golf ball sized hail that was coming down in Dallas (and in the month of May?!) We were promptly greeted by the young server, and she introduced herself as Breanna. Super sweet, attentive, and just overall warm. We sat down to review their menu and instantly noticed the pricing. "Gah damn, they high!" I said aloud. Ya'll, it's a very basic bar---kind of in the middle of nowhere and they want $16 for a plain burger? I think high dollar restaurant, Knife, even has a cheaper burger. I put my menu down because it was at that point, I knew I wouldn't be eating there. My friend has given up the devil's juice, so she ordered a VIRGIN mojito. The devil still has me in his grasp, so I went with my go-to, a dirty martini--extra dirty. The beverages came out roughly 10 minutes later. I knew we were going to have a problem when I saw a red coffee stirrer in my drink--and no olives. This is a sports bar---very similar to a Boomerjacks or something so I didn't trip. Ya'll, I took one sip, and it took everything in me not to spit that sh!t right back out! Oh, my goodness--it tasted like lemon juice concentrate and salted water. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. My friend tried her mojito, and it was just as bad. We didn't want to be "those" customers, so we sat there and drank the worst cocktail (in her case, "mocktail") we've ever had in our lives. It gets worse from here!!! Breanna brings out our check. $35 for the 2 drinks!!?? I was floored. The struggle martini was $15 and the NON-ALCOHOLIC mojito was $15 as well. They also charged $5 in miscellaneous beverage taxes. I told Breanna that there must be a mistake. Breanna ever-so-preciously confirmed that the price was the price. I couldn't believe it! We immediately paid and exited the bar with the quickness!! Breanna was polite so I'm giving them a 2, but NEVER AGAIN!"
"Great restaurant turn salsa/bachata bar! Come here after 3-5pm and you'll see the crowd really transform! We came here from the draw of the music stayed for the food and dancing! This place get wild after 8pm so look to getting a reservation! I ordered there cubano and elote which was more than enough for 2 people. The cubano was just got off the press and smothered with meats of beef and jabon! I would really get this if you're very hungry and looking to soak something up with your enjoyable margaritas! The elote is fresh and so buttery it meats in your mouth in an instant second! What really got us was the ambiance of the either place. Come with good friends and you'll find yourself a great time! The dancing is amazing and the vibe is great with great hostess and very cool bartenders.Don't let them line fool you at front as you can be at the bar and order food until 2am!"
"Cute, hidden spot in FWTX. Bartender was really nice and the drinks were tasty and strong! I'd definitely come back."
"This place is a total dive and time warp into the 70s. It's more of a place where locals like to go, however they do have live music every now and then and are trying to incorporate it more. The bartender has a smile on her face the entire night I was there and I was in one of the bands playing this particular night. They have a small stage setup and some house speakers that point in one direction, so if you're along the side of the bar, you probably wont be able to hear the vocals very well. The parking lot seems a little sketch, but they do have security cameras around the bar which you can monitor from the inside. One thing that does suck is, this place is "cash only" however when you start a tab, they still take your credit card, I guess as a place holder(?) but it can be confusing to think they they do. Make sure if you do come here you got some money on your or else I heard there's an ATM. When I first got here earlier in the night, it seemed like mainly a place for the locals to go in this super smokey bar, so just another thing to keep in mind when you come here. However they did have a free spread of hotdogs and other miscellaneous food things."
"Trash. Walk in, sit down, literally not one person anywhere to be found and it's 7pm. Bartenders nowhere in site. No music, kitchen is closed. Left after sitting for 15 minutes with no service"
"We were in Grapevine for a conference and needed dinner. We saw the reviews for this place and decided to give it a shot. It turned out to be so good that we came back another night to try something different. The mango pecan crusted chicken salad was phenomenal as was the chicken carciofi. Not only was the presentation beautiful but the taste was wonderful as well.It is a small place inside of a hotel. So it wouldn't work for a large group. But it's a cool place with great service and excellent food."
"Unfortunately, this lacks my expectations. I would start with parking was a little challenging. It is very limited, and I would recommend that you know how to back your car into the parking spots. Ambiance: Once you walk in, there is a large lobby area with nowhere to sit if you are waiting to be seated. Therefore, I recommend making reservations. During my experience, there were two hosts and one was assisting another customer while the other did nothing but sit behind the desk with no greetings. Once the first returned, I was able to sit down with my party. There is where it interesting because the seating is a big u-shaped booth with a cocktail style table in the middle of the booth. Which could be a little uncomfortable for many folks. The decor was nice and bar area looked really nice. However, the music was too loud for a normal conversation. Service: As I mentioned there were two hosts at the front desk and one was helping, and the other was not doing anything. The host that helping was not very inviting as well. The wait service was very good. They were willing to assist with questions and concerns my party may have had. Food: The food had flavor but lack in presentation. Especially for my pasta. Also, I asked for the shrimp Mardi gras pasta, and I was missing andouille sausage. In addition, we ordered a drink that stated it was frozen from the menu, but the drink was not frozen. In addition, the prices of meals and drinks were not reasonable in opinion. Overall: It was not the greatest experience, and it is hard for me recommend. I wish them well; however I hope from some of the reviews, they will improve in these areas."
"The Tuesday taco specials are well worth it! Pork tacos is the way to go! The service provided by Chico & Kayle was top tier. It was a busy night but they handled it and were very attentive and helpful. The ambiance was great. You can watch the game but still have a conversation. We definitely will be back for more good times!"
"Stayed here during a concert at dickies arena. It is literally across the street and such an easy walk! This place is a small boutique style hotel very modern and simple. Love the fact that this place isn't carpeted the rooms just seemed cleaner because of it! The bathroom counter space is definitely lacking but they did have carts in there for that to help. Hotel Itself was very clean and crisp! As an added bonus the beds were comfy!"
"I see a lot of mixed comments. I guess some people are never happy with anything. The Chips were light and crisp, and had a good flavor.Despite other comments, I thought the Salsa was good.(I make my own, and I'm very picky about it)Dropping off a Salsa Dispenser at your table is very handy.Nothing worse than running out in between server visits to your table.I had a side of Guac that was excellent.Ordered the Vaquero Tacos. They came with lots of meat, which was mid-rare, perfectly seasoned, and juicy. Seems like juicy is not a comment you would expect to see for Tacos, but I did notice it on every bite. The service was good. Came to the table just enough, but not every 3 minutes interrupting you while you are trying to eat.Not a fancy place, but a nice big place.Exactly what you would expect for an old style Tex-Mex Restaurant. There is a nice Bar on one side.Lots of Outside Seating, and what looks like maybe some segregated seating for a Party, or a Business Function.Big parking lot, plenty of room, and easy to get in and out of."
"A dive bar in the heart of Deep Ellum, amazing live music, with NO COVER! I don't know if they always have music but we were here late on a Saturday night and the bluesy band performing was incredible. The bouncer caught us do a double take when we heard the music and we were in there in a heartbeat when he said there was no cover. After about 20 minutes the whole place was packed, standing room only. We only ordered a couple beers but there was a good selection of local stuff on draft."
"My group gave the right password, we just had the wrong skin color. The negative Yelp reviews about Truth & Alibi are very accurate. I recently took my fiancé and her friends out for a good time (not a long time ). Speaking of "not a long time", this is the exact time frame we stood in line after being told "a ratio needs to be met before I can let y'all in." I asked what ratio and referred to guys/girls, boots/loafers, race?! The bouncer responded with a smirk and shoulder shrug. This is ridiculous because many places in Deep Ellum have better DJs, better drinks (most drinks @ Truth & Alibi come with a lot of ice and little alcohol for $11).This place is known for turning people away because they are middle-eastern, African-American, Asian, and even Hispanic on nights "secretly tailored" to other groups. Wouldn't recommend for people looking to have a great time without racism. I, along with many others, would prefer new management/leadership or a complete shutdown of this place because Deep Ellum/Dallas deserves better than a secret clubhouse with open discrimination (even when you know the password to get in)."
"This is one of our favorite work/ Brunch spot locations The food is always amazing, I'm always greeted by a friendly smile with impeccable service .the staff is extremely accommodating, I love to go for brunch take my laptop and work .. I love the atmosphere. It's very cozy dim lighting, great vibe...and great pool view ..As a vegetarian finding a restaurant that caters to my dietary needs without compromising on taste is very important to me. Rather you're a devoted vegetarian or just seeking a really nice exceptional dining experience. Dragonfly is a must visit destination. It is located at the bottom level of the Zaza hotel in Dallas Texas. Try them out... I have below some of me and my sweetie lite brunch fav's Enjoy ..and Fyi there crispy Brussels sprouts & impossible. Burger is also amazing... once again I thank God I have a great relationship with the gym"
"First time here and won't be last on our travels on Hwy 67. Unless really wanting bbq it will replace Hard Eight. .Have a good selection of beers and food. Wife had the Swiss mushroom burger and I had the Attendant. Both were very good. Appear to be hand made patties that were thick and juicy with good flavor. The fries were good as well. Traveling thru this weekend so will stop by again. Saw another review that they have a cigar lounge. Completely missed that if it did, but will look this time.Worth the stop if traveling hwy 67 and worth a trip out there just for a meal and a nice drive."
"I've been to the Palms a multitude of times and it's always been a good experience. They've allowed UIU a local Nigerian organization I'm a member of to host events, which were a blast. Lately my friends and I discovered that during crawfish season they offer boiled seafood on Mondays and the first pound is free. Hands down this is the best crawfish I've had in a long time, perfectly seasoned and the sauce they serve with the sausage and the seafood is crave-worthy. The drinks are hit and miss though. Wasn't a fan of either drink I ordered but their frozens are typically good. Something that has always been consistent is the servers are always friendly, personable and they remember everything! All the ladies here are phenomenal and can't wait to come back for more mudbugs next Monday!"
"Joseph was the best waiter! He was so prompt and on top of it as soon as we sat down, he greeted us with Waters a menu and gave us a few minutes to look over the drink . We ordered the credo in Cuba and Jim, James, Paul & Tyrone. Both cocktails were fantastic and we will absolutely be back hopefully as hotel guests the ambience was a 1970s vibe."
"Drinks: 2/5Service: 4/5Cleanliness: 3/5Decor & Style: 1/5Service was somewhat efficient, however the drinks they made were not very good. This place had more of a strip club vibe than it did a bar attached to a hotel! Nuff' said, right? :)"
